Juliet licked Blaze's cheek. "How are you?" She asked sitting, and licking her soft chest fur. The bright sun shining on her wintery coat.

Genocide sighed as she sat by the Cliffsides, the wind blowing through her dark brown fur. For some reason Kapu's amber eyes wouldn't leave her mind. Maybe it was just mixed emotions.

Kapu glanced at Genocide, and hunched his shoulders. He was so bored, and now he had to take care of the elders. WITHOUT HEIlOS!!!! He growled in frustration.

Genocide nodded and padded to the Elders Den, tarting to clean out bedding. There was one Elder named Lotas that Genocide kind of liked.

I followed Genocide, and helped her clean the bedding. I then padded over to the meat pile, and grabbed some meat for the elders.

The two of them worked all day. "Finally! We can play now!" Genocide snarled. Heilos barked for Kapu, wagging his tail.

Kapu ran to Heilos,"What horrible work that was!!" Kapu said laughing. He ran over to Genocide and yapped at her,"Come on!" He said his eyes dancing gleefully.

Heilos laughed and nipped his ear. Genocide raced past them, her feet barely touching the ground as she ran.

I yowled happily at Heilos, and raced after Genocide. I caught up to her, and jumped on her. Tumbling from the momentum of the fall. I howled for Heilos.

Pelican came out of the cave carrying both Bliss and Layla in her maw, lookimg around once she placed them at the foot of her paws.

Layla glanced around carefully, her electric blue eyes barely open and gleaming with curiosity. Durnal padded over, licking Pelican's maw before nuzzling the pups carefully. "They are beautiful pups." Durnal told Pelican, smiling softly.

Bliss laid there, unable to open her eyes because of the bright sunlight. Whinning she hid her head underneath her mothers fur coat.

Pelican smiled and licked Durnals muzzle, " Yes they are."

Layla nudged her sister softly, wagging her fluffy puppy tail. Layla nuzzled her father's leg softly.

Bliss whimpered, wanting to go back into the den but Pelican nuzzled her to stand on wobbly legs. The black pup sneered a bit in annoyance but tried to stand though failed. Beginning to practice a tad. For it has been a few weeks since they were born. Though the opening eyes part was hard, Bliss thought.

Durnal caught Bliss with his muzzle and smiled. "Come on, Bliss. You can do it." Durnal encouraged, his deep emerald eyes gleaming. Layla yipped and bounced around in the grass. "Daddy, look!" She barked, gazing at a beautiful butterfly. Layla's dark brown, white, black a gray pelt fluffed out as it landed on her nose. Durnal chuckled. "They certainly are. They're Pelican's pups for crying out loud." Durnal joked, smiling. Durnal knew he was stronger, but kept that to himself, for he loved Pelican.

Juliet sighed watching the pups. She lay down, her head in the grass, she watched Bliss, how cute was she! And Layla how adventurous!

Layla gasped happily as she saw her Uncle Blaze. "Uncle Blaze!" She yipped, bouncing over, her puppy muscles tensing with excitement. "Hello, Layla. Hello Bliss." Blaze greeted, licking them both. Durnal greeted his brother respectfully, and nudged Layla towards Blaze. "Watch this Uncle Blaze!" Layla barked, bouncing through the wild flowers and catching a butterfly. Durnal saw some kind of spark in Layla, he just didn't know what. Layla had gotten two feathers pierced into her ear two days ago. She loved them.
