Jade looked at Cat and smiled softly before burying her face in Beck's slightly tanned neck. She sighed softly, trying to get the image of her father out of her head.

Jade smiled, but it disappeared at the bruise above Cat's eye. Jade sighed and hugged Cat tighter. "She can be a heavy sleeper." Jade said to Beck.

Cat awoke from her sleep, surprised to be held by Jade. "Uh, you're acting like my brother when he had too much sugar before I woke up." Cat said to Jade.

Jade woke up the next morning and made herself some coffee before waking up Cat. "Get up!" Jade hissed softly.

Jade ate some cereal before talking with Cat softly. "Want to come to my house?" Cat asked. "Yeah, sure." Jade replied. They silently left Beck's RV and walked to Cat's house.
