Medea didn't want anything to do with Kyzer at the moment. She didn't blame him... it was her fault for following him around and allowing herself to socialize with him, even if she knew it would anger her father beyond anything. But she'd never have thought her father would so coldheartedly throw her away like this. She didn't understand. Perhaps she wasn't as strong as she liked to think she was...perhaps she really was just a fae at heart. Not a rebellious fae that could withstand anything. Just a fae with an outgoing personality, but with a weak heart. Maybe that's all she truly was. She didn't move when Kyzer came to warm her up, but she didn't make any motion to return the favor, either. When he claimed he loved her, she stiffened. In a tone that barely she could hear herself, she replied, "No, you don't. You only love yourself. If you cared about anyone else you wouldn't feel the need to prove yourself to my father."

Kyzer's heart broke in half. No, into a billion pieces. He got on his paws and dashed out of the den. He needed space. Kyzer found a Cliffside and stood at the ledge, his brown eyes on the direction of home. But when he stepped out, Kyzer slipped and down he fell, letting out yelps and barks as he fell, until he hit the ground. Then everything went black.

"Medea. I think you might want to see this." Lillian growled, leading her outside to the middle of Camp. There laid the body of Kyzer, blood drowned his pelt. Lillian shook her head. Lotas padded out and was shocked to see the sight before him. "Kyzer, no... No!" He yowled, his blue eyes filled with tears now. "My best friend... My only friend." He winced.

(Kyzer isn't dead. He will come to his consciousness. Razz

Medea didn't move when Kyzer did. No, she just remained where she was and tried to drown everything out with the sound of the rain. She didn't not love Kyzer...he was a wonderful wolf, and she would never intentionally hurt him. But he'd gotten himself hurt trying to fight her father, and she didn't want to see the two brutes she cared most about fighting and hurting each other severely. With that, Medea let silent tears roll down her cheeks.

Medea looked up with Lillian came and told her that she needed to see something. Medea nodded and lazily got to her feet, following behind her. She didn't continue the trail, however, for the moment she left the den the smell of blood hit her. Eyes widening, Medea looked up. No...Kyzer!? No! Medea dashed over to the wolf and skidded to a halt, looking over his bloodied pelt. "Kyzer," she whispered, "Kyzer...I'm..." Medea plopped down on the ground beside him and rested her head on his shoulder. "It's my fault...I'm so sorry...I'm sorry Kyzer," Medea whispered before burying her head in his coat, not caring if the blood got on her.

"I found him at the bottom of the ravine." Lillian explained. Kyzer's eyes opened faintly, his eyes searching the area. They trailed over to the sight of Medea, and he smiled. "Medea..." He rasped faintly, his head lifting slowly to lick her head. "Kyzer!!!" Lotas yowled happily, nuzzling his friend. "Yeah, yeah its great to see you to Lotas." Kyzer replied, then looked at Medea. "I love you." He whispered, nuzzling her shoulder weakly.

When Kyzer moved, Medea nearly cried with joy. "You're not dead!" Medea nuzzled him gently, being sure not to hurt him. "I'm so sorry, Kyzer...I...I didn't mean what I said earlier, I was just upset..." Medea buried her head underneath Kyzer's gently. "Don't do that ever again...please...you scared me." Medea closed her eyes and let out a deep breath. If her father came now... Medea would fight him herself. The last thing he'd expect was for his daughter to go up against him, and the advantage of surprise would be on her side. Kyzer had gone through too much already. And some of it was her fault, too. Medea had half the mind to take Lillian, Lotas, Kyzer, and herself, and make their own Tribe and run away from her father's tyranny.

Kyzer struggled to sit up, but, he did and nuzzled Medea. His heart pounded out of his chest. "I love you, Medea." He whispered in her ear, his chin still resting on her forehead. Aurath snarled and stormed over. "Get away from her." He growled. "Aurath stop! We have had it with you! We are leaving!" Lillian roared. "C'mon guys." She growled.

The moment that Medea saw her father she pulled herself away from Kyzer and growled loudly. "You're not the boss of me anymore." Medea snarled, baring her sharp teeth at her father. It was the first time she'd ever been aggressive, truly aggressive, to another wolf - and this wasn't just any old wolf. No, it was her father. "I'm sick of you abusing other wolves just because you think I'm still your little girl! Because I'm not!" Medea was about to say that she was leaving when Lillian said it for her. That wasn't something she'd been expecting at all. Turning her head to look at Lillian, Medea gave a confused look, but quickly regained her confidence and stared at her father, snarling one last time before walking over to Kyzer and helping him to his feet. "Come on, let's get out of here."

Kyzer, Lotas, and Lillian went with her. They travelled for days, though Kyzer didn't care how much pain he felt. Soon, he found a large den with a waterfall inside, but it was a small one, and it ran right into a pool of water. "This one looks great." Kyzer said, stepping inside with Lotas.

Another couple days passed and Kyzer was healing, thanks to Lillian. Lotas was asleep. "We still have to figure out the ranks." Kyzer said, looking around. "You and Medea should be the Alpha's." Lillian told him, smiling. "If I'm going to be an Alpha, it'll be an Alpha of Thieves. I like living as an Outlaw. But... If I am Alpha, I am making Lotas the Beta." Kyzer replied.

(I'm going to change Lotas' age to 4.)

Medea was glad to be free from her father's harsh stare. And she was so happy now... so happy that she was free to be as carefully reckless as she wanted to be. She had Kyzer, and the two of them shared basically the same personality. They'd make a wonderful, if not somewhat chaotic, pack together. Now, several days later, the four of them were thinking of ranks. It seemed as if Medea and Kyzer would be Alphas. Medea didn't mind the idea, but she was somewhat uneasy about being responsible for the lives of others. Maybe that's why her father had been so uptight all the time... being Alpha came with a lot of responsibility. But, for the time being, it was only four, young, capable, healthy wolves, so it wouldn't be too much of a burden. Medea stretched, "Sounds like a plan to me!"

[ All right ^_^ Are we gonna bring back Medea's old pack in the future maybe? ]

Kyzer brainstormed it. "No. We will be a group with a Leader, a second in command and the warriors." Kyzer replied, liking the idea of being a group of outlaws. "Who agrees that Kyzer should be Leader say I." Lotas growled. "I!" Lotas barked, followed by Lillian. "I guess its settled then. Kyzer will be the Leader." Lotas said. "If I'm Leader then Lotas is my second in command, since its a little awkward to have your mate a rank lower than you." Kyzer said, nodding his head. "Thank you, Kyzer." Lotas said, dipping his head.

Medea couldn't help but zone out during the conversation. She'd never really been interested in things like this, but she knew that now that she was in this position really and truly, she needed to begin to care. She was silently nervous about screwing something up, even if it had nothing to do with the rank responsibilities. With that thought, Medea stretched and stood up, looking at the others before turning her head and looking at the forest around them. It was wonderful, this place, beautiful and exotic and a place she'd never been to before. Without thinking, Medea said, "I'm going to go scout." With that, Medea jumped into a trot and jogged off from the group. It was going to be fun exploring this new place, and she was excited. But she knew she couldn't act like a pup forever, now. No, not that she had responsibilities - more responsibilities than she'd ever expected to have. But now, at least, she was free.

Kyzer did the same and came upon a beautiful area. He had never seen anything like it in his life before. A rushing waterfall and river, with deep trees and ferns all around him. He travelled a bit more, and came to a 15 foot gorge with a beautiful waterfall inside and all kinds of stuff.
