Biography:
Dedra was born in the colonial times in Georgia to a blacksmith father and a stay home mother. As a young child, she helped out around the family farm and went to a local school house with the other village kids. By the time she grew to be 13 years old, she wanted to go explore. She hated being tied down and wanted to travel to far lands. Her father told her that on her 15th birthday, he would buy her a pony and allow her to leave. That day came and she left her family farm to travel north where she ended up in New York. She sold her pony for money to buy a room and to pay rent. When the money supply ran low and she couldn't find a decent job, she ended up in prostitution by the age of 17. She spent a few years doing the dirty work to get money quick and she managed to fall in love with on of her regulars. He had lots of money and paid for her to put up in a nice home with fancy clothes and such. But the love started to grow sour close to her 25th birthday when the man found another woman. Dedra was changed a few months after she turned 25 and to seek revenge on the man she loved, she killed his lover before his eyes and drained her blood. After that, she took over his estate and has lived there ever since.

Personality:
Dedra is not a shy or quiet girl once you get to know her. In the beginning she was once laid back and real chill, but once she was shown the real world by a bunch of lusty men, her view on everything changed and she became real up tight. She is a bitch, straight up. She may look like an innocent rose, but up close you can see all her thorns. She has a habit of biting her lip when she is bored or very nervous. Her body trembles when she is very angry and she always does a hair flip. Dedra tends to stay by herself, locked in her room or down sits quietly in her library with a good book. She has always loved to read. She is street smart as well as school smart enough though she never finished 8th grade. Just keep an eye on her.

Appearance:

Dedra is about 5'2" height and weighs about 135 pounds. She has long chestnut colored hair that reaches the middle of her back and is wavy. Her eyes (before she died) were an entrancing shade of green, but now they are solid black with just hints of the former color swirling in their lifeless pits. Her cheeks are full, but if you look at the right angle you can see she has cheek bones. She has built up muscle over time, but still have plenty of feminine curves. She has a small bust, about an A or B cup, but her hips and ass are impressive. For being so short, she still has perfect legs. Her skin had always been pale, so its still pretty pale. She has little freckles that dot her cheeks and across her nose. They are scattered along her shoulders and on the back of her neck. Over all, she is a good looking woman. (side note: she has sapphire tattoos all over her body except her face. They are an intricate vine pattern)

Explanation of her Being:
Unlike being a vampire like Dracula, where she would burn in the sunlight, live off blood, sleep at night and seduce innocent people, or like Twilight where she sparkles in the sun, never sleeps, eats animals, and is cold and hard as stone, Dreda is a mixture of those two plus the vampyres from The House Of Night novels.
She is alive, breathing, and has actual blood in her system. She drinks blood (both human and animal) plus she can eat regular food and drink regular drinks. Her touch is warm and she is soft. She still spends time sleeping during the day, but she can be awake and out in the sun. She can be wounded like a regular person, but she is harder to kill. She has to be torn apart and burned to ash and her ashes must be spread all over.
