I slept soundly in the den.

Starlight sat by the river, her eyes on her reflection. Did she trust Dragon? No. Did she like him? Hell no.

I continued to sleep.

Dragon

I spotted Starlight sitting by the river and went up next to her. "Hello, Starlight." I greeted her.

Starlight shot him a quick glance, "Hey Dragon." She mumbled, sighing softly.

"I guess I'm not the only who likes to come here." I replied, smiling.

Starlight gave a small little smile, her silver eyes meeting his. "Guess not." She replied.

"Where's Snow Fire?" I asked, wondering.

"He's asleep." Starlight answered, giving a soft sigh.

"Oh." I replied, not sure what else to say.

Starlight shivered as a cold breeze went up her spine.

"Are you cold?" I asked.

Starlight nodded, "Yeah." She replied.

"Do you want me to help warm you up?" I asked, moving gradually closer to her.

Starlight smiled small at that, and nodded, shuffling closer to him and leaning her cheek on his shoulder. "Thanks."

"No problem." I replied, scooting slightly closer to her.

Starlight suddenly felt comforted. She felt as if she was truly cared for. Without knowing, her heat scent slipped out.

My nose automatically pricked when I caught scent of her heat smell but I didn't let on I knew.

Starlight's tail wagged slightly, feeling safe next to Dragon.

I smiled and gently nuzzled her cheek.

Starlight blushed lightly, but quickly hid it.

I smiled, catching her blush. "Don't be embarrassed." I said, again nuzzling her cheek.

Starlight smiled softly and licked his cheek, her heat scent getting stronger.

I smiled and licked her nose gently.
