Katherine's blue eyes searched the area before her, a new place, a then country. New life. She originally came from the U.K. but her parents moved here, having to be curious what it was like here. So off to the United States and to California to a school called Lawrence they went and Katherine had to admit, she was pretty excited. What were American people like... were they nice? Many people at her school were judgmental, not about here... but to other people, they were rude. Katherine never really minded the hate that was sent her way but then again, she could cry herself to sleep like any normal teenager. She was only thirteen. She had feelings, too. Katherine wondered who would show her around. The principal confirmed her that she'd get shown around by an Leadership Student so... where was that person now? She hummed, running her hands through her blonde hair thoughtfully, hoping someone would come.

Sodiac leaned against his locker and watched the strange new girl curiously. Another victum of middle school, he thought. Glancing up at the digital clock, he pushed off and headed for his class. Several of the football players were horsing around in the hallway and knocked into him. Unprepared for the hit, he fell into somebody and muttered his apologizes. When he looked up, he saw that it was the new girl. He quickly looked away and bent down to pick his and her folders and papers.

Katherine was glaring at her watch when suddenly someone bumped into her, making her sway slightly and drop the schedule she had. She wasn't going to complain since it wasn't much, but she was sort of angry at the person who ran into her. "Would you just watch it?" she asked, her british accent easy to make out, before she could take the rudeness back. She bit back a curse to herself and sighed, not even bothering to apologize because he might just walk away anyways, and got the paper in her hand, looking it over. Good, it wasn't ruined. She looked up at the guy who had ran into her. "Excuse me for my rudeness."

He quickly gathered up his papers, hiding his drawings from sight, and looked at her. "Sorry, and it's okay, I'm used to it." Before she could respond, he scurried away.



"I am so sorry!" Sheryl called, coming up behind the new girl. "I was running late today." She set her books down and wiped her sweaty hands on her pants. Oh god! She forgot the new girls name! "Uh- what's your name?" she asked, remembering a trick that her mother had taught her.

(Sorry! I seriously forgot your character's name and when I went back to look I saw that her name was Katherine too. I fixed it though. )

Katherine watched him, one eyebrow raised before she heard another voice. She swerved around to see a female. She listened to her and Katherine found herself smiling slightly. She touched her own cheek thoughtfully before answering. "Katherine. Katherine Jones?" she said in a question. She cocked her head. "Are you supposed to show me around?"

Crap! she thought as her smile grew wider. "Yep. My name is Sheryl, but everybody just calls me Kitty. May I see your scedule so I can escort you to your first class?" She hed out her hand.
