I smiled then went into my kitchen and took down a couple of glasses and poured some water into them. Then I went back out into the living room and handed on of the glasses to Adam.

I watched her movements, as my glass of water was empty. I kept the glass pressed against my face though, ignoring the uncomfortable feeling of the glass pressing against my skin.

I took the glass from him and went back into the kitchen. I rinsed out the glasses then placed them into the sink. Then I went back into the living room. "Are you ready to go?" I asked him.
