James growled but stood his ground.

I watched her as she bit into him, but ignored it. I was still fuming about the shadow wolf.

Arctic nodded, but the creature had already dispersed. He watched as NightGaze prepared to turn one of the wolves, and shook his head. Arctic was still young, but he would rather be a normal wolf than an elemental. "You should've thought this through. You can never go back, and you will have new enemies, enemies that are more powerful than you know." He growled, and turned.

Song blinked, tilting her head. "I'm confused here. How exactly are all you wolves controlling stuff?"

Nightgaze padded up to Arctic and nuzzled his shoulder. "I've been working on forming blizzards. Do you want to see?" She asked, tail wagging happily.

Arctic swung around, growling. "No, I do not. I'm sure you've improved, but how much thought did you put into what you just did? How long have you known this wolf? Can he handle it? Is he strong enough? Have you even taught him anything about US?" Arctic slammed his paw into the earth, freezing the ground below him.

"I've known these wolves for some time. Thanks for the encouragement, boss." She snarled sarcastically, turning away from Arctic and padding away, hiding the tears forming in her eyes. Nightgaze went to the river, and closed her eyes to practice blizzards. A blizzard formed around her.

Arctic forced himself to calm down. He shook his head, and looked down at the ground. Some wolves just didn't get it. He trotted away, sighing softly.

Song sighed. Was she invisible? "Uh hello! Mind explaining what is going on here?"

Nightgaze went to look for Arctic. Soon she found him. "Arctic?" She called, flicking her ears. Nightgaze felt terrible. She felt as if she were in love with him, and Luke, just couldn't choose. She sat next to him, and sighed.

I snorted and padded over to Song, my flames dying down. I smiled. "It's a long story. Would prefer to hear the shorter version?"

James nodded. "I just feel so.... weird."

Arctic kept moving. He calmed himself, and shook his head. Running off like that was for pups, and he knew it.

Song nodded eagerly, "Yes, please!"

Arctic hung his head. "No. I know she is very good at them, and she doesn't need me to tell her that. But I won't be able to keep my head around her. I'm afraid my temper has gotten a little out of control lately. Maybe tomorrow. But not now."
