Rita's eyes filled with tears. She missed him so much. Soto tilted his head and glanced at his belly wound Foreth gave him when he basically sank his teeth in Soto's intestines. "I never got to thank you for the day you almost killed me." Soto growled sarcastically.

I knew I was wrong for doing this, I wasn't the one who should be apologizing.. but I would since I wouldn't see these guys ever again I figured after this. "I apologize." I said and then sat down to give my legs a rest.

I looked over to Soto for a minute.. he was kinda ruining the mood of our reunion, but oh well. I nodded to Rita and then jogged off to a nearby river for a drink.

The wind blew in my direction and I smelt Rita strongly. I tensed at the alluring smell, but made myself drink the cold water anyways.
