Kemi has always been an experiment, a product of scientists dying hope to save the human race. She was meant to be the survivors of the ravaged earth, as more and more natural distastes, epidemics and mutated plants and animals, and the deadly wars were occurring. She was there only first real success, since most of them either died or were never made, since they tried to do too much and killed it, or it died because of them poking around and messing with the DNA. She was only 4 years old when they started to test her, but she was always willing.
Unlike most of there experiments that lived, she was the most advanced one, and was always willing to show them her strengths. She was always willing to do what they asked, but secretly hated them, and began to hate the human race as well. By the time she was 8 she began to try and free the others, even though most of them died. While some were trying to survive, others would either kill themselves and try to get killed, since the scientists tried to get her results with the rest. As most of them died, they started to turn there attention on her, and when she was 7, they began to teach her life skills.
It was almost like school, except she was learning at such a rate that they stopped. She didn't know why, but she always had a hunch. She thought that they stopped because she knew to much about the program, and knowing too much she could jeopardize it If she wanted to. After they started to realize her true potential, they started to experiment with her in the real world. She would endure tsunamis, earthquakes, extreme heat or cold, or being hunted. What the scientists didn't know however, was how much she was learning to be able to survive int he real world, and made her even more desperate to escape.
She would always watch them and listen to them, her senses sensitive enough to hear the whispers of the nest phase in her training. As she began to grow, they were more open-minded about the plans, sure that they had her brainwashed enough with all the teachings about what she should do, how she should do it, and when.
By the time she was 14, she felt her instincts kick in. She didn't feel like some special person with some powers, or a angel to bring down peace. She thought that she was meant to kill the species that forced this onto her, and that was killing the earth with their ignorance and stupidity. Whatever she felt like doing, her instincts told her not to or to do differently.
She was injected with many different strands of DNA, and once she thought that they were trying to kill her by doing so. Even if she has many different kinds of strands, she has more feline DNA in her then anything else. But she didn't have just normal cat DNA, she had many extinct big cat DNA's as well, which made her even more dangerous. Before she learned to control her wild urges, she felt like she had to do so many things, and before she was about to do it, something else told her not to do it. Was she learned to control it, she started to become wild and uncontrollable. She was fast enough to dodge the bullets and anesthesia's shot at her, they soon realized what they had created, and they tried to control her even more.
While they first started to plan how to get rid of her quietly and safely, they started to starve he of food and water. Whenever the scientists would try and look at her through the window that they had so they could observe her without her knowing, she would sit down and stare at them. Even though she didn't know when or when not they were looking, she would stare, flicking her bright white tail side to side. As they began to starve her of food and water, she became more desperate. Every hour her ears and tail would change color, slowly going from bright white to brown, yellow, then black.
As the days dragged on, she realized that she had to escape, but she didn't want to leave the rest of them with the scientists. She wanted to free all of them, away from the humans who did this to them and out into the world. She felt a connection to all of them, since they were the closest things to her. Even if she was weak from starvation and dehydration, she continued on. While they realized that they were killing her anyway, they decided that they would kill her of dehydration, hoping to see what her behavior would be. As they thought they had won, there blindness to her mental and physical abilities was what let her escape, thought she was glad she never shown them her true strength.
On the night they thought that they had won, she busted the locked door and ran out. It was quite easy, since they hadn't bothered anyone showing up, since it was in the middle of a desert, most importantly a very cold one. She hadn't thought of the fact where she was, but she quickly took of the jacket from the guard she killed at the door, and used his key to open the door. As she ran as fast as she could, she heard noise behind her, and wondered if they knew she had escaped. She ran for what seemed like hours, then she saw the 20 foot tall barb wire fence, that had several warning signs on it.
Most of the signs said nuclear bomb range on it, while other said Level 3 disease testing on the gate. She could easily climb it, and she did, but she still had to go over the barb wire fencing. As she tried to jump over the barb wire, her ankle got caught in the wire, cutting all across her leg and sending blood dropping to the ground. She managed to get over the fence, but that was the first thing she learned since she escaped. Pain, she thought. She couldn't let that stop her from her escape, or her goal.

Personality
While Kemi had a warm personality to begin with, it soon faded with her growing up. The main thing she does now is ramble on under her breath, but she often has a very cold outlook on life. She is very caring on certain things though. and will take in animals and nurse them to health, while she would often times kill things for no reason, other than that it shouldn't be there. She can get very agitated very easy, she rarely gets mad, and will mostly walk away from any situation that makes her too mad. Even If she lives in the wild, she'll sometimes go into the regular world, but it still doesn't change her view on the human species, even If she is mostly human herself. She will most often settle down into a house, or even enroll herself in school just to take a look at things, since she is and has always been quite curious.
But she mostly puts herself in society just to see how things are going, since she has heard when she was being taught in the lab that almost a billion of people have died, so she is keen to learn more about it. But even if she constantly is around humans, she does very often, kill them when she sees one. She thinks nothing of it, but rather then 'removing weeds from my beautiful garden'. While she wouldn't deny doing genocide, she doesn't kill openly. She often shows no remorse for the people she killed, but rather more hate because she is so far from her goal to getting rid of them completely.

He can either be a hybrid like her, or a human. If he is a human though he has to kinda spend time in the woods and stuff to see her.
