My gaze was set on the lake as I tried to cool down. Dipping my head, I lapped up some water before returning to the den. "Sorry for exploding." I muttered, licking her nose.

Nightwalker lifted her head and smiled. Then she said, "It's okay. I'm the one who should be sorry. I shouldn't have snapped at you like that."

Nightwalker smiled happily then snuggled up close to Nigel and fell asleep, her pups snuggled up against her.

The next morning I awoke sleepily, shaking it away from my dark green eyes. I yawned and licked Nightwalker then the pups before eating 3 fish from the pile.

Nightwalker woke up at Nigel's gentle touch and smiled. Then I got up and stretched before quickly grabbing a rabbit from the pile.

Starlight

Starlight woke up at her father's touch, blinking her eyes sleppily.

Miko

Miko wiggled a little but did not wake up. He would need a little more than a lick to wake up.

I smiled and nuzzled Nightwalker, before looking over at Miko. "Time to get up, sleepy head." I growled softly.

Nightwalker nuzzled Nigel back before she settled down and started to eat her rabbit.

Starlight

Starlight got up and stretched.

Miko

Miko finally woke up, laying on his back, his paws flailing in the air at his father.

Starlight dived for her mother's belly and automatically started to nurse.

Miko

Miko turned away from the rabbit and went over to his mother's belly and started to nurse.
