Secrets from the King [ Rated R - OPEN ]
Long, long ago, in a world much unlike this one, there was a kingdom. A kingdom named Farewin. Farewin was a very wonderful place. The kingdom ruled in harmony, its people content under its fantastic ruler, King Weston. King Weston always had his people’s best interest in mind – never once did the wise king step out of line when it came to the needs of his people. Along with being a fantastic king, King Weston was a wonderful husband and father. King Weston was married to the “most beautiful woman alive,” Eloise Deegan. Eloise had been rejected as queen at first. Eloise, despite her beauty, came from an ugly family, in an ugly place during an ugly time. Eloise had been sold to a man at age fifteen, who abused her in more ways than one. Unto that man, Eloise bore Brooke, her first daughter. It wasn’t long after Brooke’s first birthday that King Weston poured into the town that Eloise had been kept in, throwing the terrible men out of the town that had abused their women, and had, like in all cliché stories, fallen in love with Eloise at first glance.
Many people in the kingdom rejected Eloise because she was not coming to her husband as a virgin – but in the end, King Weston was able to prove that Eloise was the perfect queen. She was beautiful, sweet, kind, and caring. Her loyalty was undying, even in the face of abuse and being forced to bear a child unto a man who had no feelings for her whatsoever, besides lust. It only took a year for the people to warm up to Eloise, and her bright daughter, Brooke. Brooke brought joy into the kingdom, and everyone was happy. Everyone was pleased. It was as if Eloise had come to her husband a virgin, and Brooke was a daughter bore unto the both of them. However, whenever something good happens, something bad must come, right?
Every good king has an enemy. King Weston’s enemy was the notorious Prince Vere, son to King Skylar, who was quickly fading away on his deathbed, being stricken with a horrid fever. Prince Vere was far too young to take the thrown – a mere twenty-three, six years older than Brooke. King Weston knew King Skylar well – he was a good man, who had good intentions that always ended up with terrible consequences. That goes without saying that one of his raids on the native peoples got his wife killed early on in Prince Vere’s childhood. Most people said that was when Prince Vere became so horrid, so violent. Prince Vere…had become like the man that had owned Eloise so many years ago. Brooke caught wind of this terrible man, and was determined to do something. She’d always sat on the sideline and acted like a princess should: proper and kind, never showing any weakness. But with that, she was confined to an ivory tower.
And Brooke wanted to go on an adventure. So, Brooke did something reckless. On a stormy night, Brooke left the kingdom on her horse, Ivette, in attempt to find and kill Prince Vere. The night Brooke arrived, King Skylar died, and Prince Vere declared himself king after his father. Brooke was enraged. She barged right into the throne-room and took down every guard-man with her bow and arrow alone, only to find that Prince Vere was not there. Being inexperienced in every kind of fighting besides archery, Brooke was easy to sneak up upon. Prince Vere captured the princess and locked her in a hidden cell adjacent to his room, so no one could ever find her. A week later, when search parties for the Princess Brooke were sent out, Prince Vere said she had been killed tragically, coming to say her farewells to his father when the guards accidentally took her as a threat and shot her on site.
King Weston was stricken with grief and easily fell for the story, however Eloise was skeptical. The body of her daughter was not returned to her like it should’ve been, and secretly, behind even her husband’s back, Eloise gathered a search party of her own. A search party of assassins.

Prince Vere’s Unit
1. King – There is only one King. The King’s job is to control all armed forces, secret and open, and to make sure whatever needs to be done is done. The king here is Prince Vere. Kings, in their units, have ultimate power.
2. Queen – The queen is whomever the King is romantically involved with, whether that be by force or not. The queen here is Princess Brooke. However, depending on the queen’s circumstances, she has free will and can act on her own accord, as well as give advice to lower-ranking officials, however they can ignore her completely if they so desire.
3. Ace – There are two Aces. The Aces are the ones who are the King’s right- and left-hand men. They ensure the calls made by the King are fulfilled completely, and that the Queen is kept in check and watched (depending on the circumstances; if the Queen is free then she has right to roam and the Aces cannot do anything against her).
4. Jack – There are three Jacks. The Jacks are the lowest-ranking of all the hierarchy, however they can work their way up and displace Aces if they become good enough. The King ultimately decides who is displaced and replaced, or who isn’t. Their job is to follow the order of the King and Aces.

Queen Eloise’s Assassins
1. Queen – The Queen has ultimate reign over all in the hierarchy. It is much like the King from Prince Vere’s Unit. The Queen here is Eloise.
2. Spade – There is only one Spade, and he (or she) is the right-hand man(or woman) to the Queen. They are responsible for carrying out the acts of the Queen, for she is never actually in the “front lines” of this secret battle, for sake of secrecy. The Spade is in charge of any strategies after being given the main plan from the Queen
3. Assassins – There are four assassins in this hierarchy. They are, as their name states, assassins, plain and simple. They are lead primarily by the Queen, but are lead into battle and directed into ‘divisions’ as the Spade so desires.

Gender: Male
Rank: King of Farewin
Personality: He’s just, loyal, creative, caring, and a wonderful leader. He always puts others needs before his own and is a generally accepting person. His major flaw is his gullibility when emotional. In a time of severe stress, anger, or sadness, he’s susceptible to trickery of any sort, including that from his own family or kingdom, but especially from outsiders. (Feel free to add)

Name: Queen Eloise
Age: 40 Years
Gender: Female
Rank: Queen of Eloise’s Assassins ;; Queen of Farewin
Personality: She’s strong-willed, and loyal above all else. She’ll go through hell and back to ensure the safety of her loved ones, and to smoke out the rats when she needs to. She’s fearless and brave, loving of adventures but also courteous and down-to-earth, knowing exactly how and when to act. Her downfall is her daughter Brooke – she’ll do almost anything for her daughter, even if it comes down to completely insane tactics. (Feel free to add)

Name: Princess Brooke
Age: 17 Years
Gender: Female
Rank: Queen of Prince Vere’s Unit ;; Princess of Farewin
Personality: She’s rebellious, and not at all like her mother. She acts without thinking, but has the capability to hold her tongue when necessary. Otherwise, she does have a sharp tongue and a filthy mouth, although around other people she tends to keep her dirty language to herself. She is a fantastic archer, and loves to ride horses. She’s not very good at thinking things out, and that’s her major downfall. She gets an idea into her head, and carries it out, without thinking about what the consequences could be.

Name: Prince/King Vere
Age: 23 Years
Gender: Male
Rank: King of Prince Vere’s Unit ;; King/Prince of Adrimma
Personality: He’s a rather twisted king. He always blamed his father for his mother’s death, and his blame was not unfounded. Ever since then, he’d hated women, and that is unfounded. He’s tended to think of women as dispensable toys. Despite all of his bad traits, he is a brilliant thinker and great strategy creator, sly and quick-witted, knowing how to act and when, much like King Weston. Deep down, he probably has some sentiments that are true, but no one has yet been able to figure him out.

Name: Arashi Watanabe ( Arashi = Storm )
Nickname: Ara
Age: 25 Years
Gender: Male
Rank: Ace in Prince Vere’s Unit
Personality: He’s dark, quiet, and loves to battle. The smell of blood to him is like the scent of expensive cologne to other, normal men. He’s ruthless, harsh, cruel, and has a glare that can melt any woman’s knees, or scare the piss out of any male warrior (usually). His only bad habit is getting drunk. He doesn’t do it often, but when he does, he tends to be overly reckless, noisy, and very violent, towards both men and women. Often his thoughts tend to come spilling out whenever he’s drunk, whether they be truths he’s held back over the years or just insults he’s been wanting to spit out at somebody’s face, but has been holding back. He is careful not to drink around people he doesn’t know or trust, for he knows it could easily be the pathway to getting information on Prince Vere’s Unit.
