"It happens.." he growled out and started to graze too, keeping his distance from the other stallion.

Angel watched her brother and his sister a moment before dropping her head to eat in silence, thinking about the future to come.

Star rolled her eyes at him and stopped grazing before trotting over to her brother and nudging him.. she looked over at grant then began to graze once more.

Black nuzzled his sister then grazed beside her keeping an eye on angel.

Angel grew bored of standing around and doing nothing. She cast a dark glance at Black and then at his sister. Ignoring her own brother, she started to walk away. She moved slowly and without a purpose towards the trees, looking for a break that would allow her to fit through. Grant stood still and watched her, not wanting to intervene and get attacked by Black.

Black lifted his head and pinned his ears as he saw angel starting to move away. He gave a loud snort before troting after her and nipping her "Your not going anywhere." He pushed against her and here's her back towards his sister.

"Blaco why don't we try and find some shelter?" She looked at him then to Grant before walking to him "I know my brother won't say this but will. I'm sorry your sister has to go through this."

angel accepted the nip to the flank and turned to look at him, "Like your sister said." she said shortly, tossing her tail from side to side.
Grant looked at Death stoned faced for a moment. "Why do you let him do this? Has he done it all before?" a mound of questions began to fill up his mind but he ignored them and simply said, "Thanks."

Death looked at grant for a moment "Only once before but the mare ended up being killed by a pack of wolves." She let out a sigh "If my brother wanted to he could kill me easily." She turned her head and looked at angel before walking to her brother. She gave him a soft nuzzle then flicked her tail a little bit waiting for black to lead them.

Black snorted at angel before rearing up and galloping off ahead of everyone to make sure the area was clear of any threats.

Grant just shook his head, that made him feel like they were in good hands. He watched Black rear and then take off ahead of them. He turned to Angel, nuzzling her side with brotherly love and urged her to follow. Angel nudged him back half heartedly and started to gallop after Black and Death. Grant sighed and galloped behind her, bringing up the rear.

Death galloped beside her brother for a little bit and looked at him "Black try and be nice just a little bit please." Black looked at his sister before pinning his ears and looking at her. He gave her a hard nip to her neck and snorted.

Death gave a small neigh from the nip and fell back a little bit and kept her ears pinned as she started to Gallop beside angel.

Grant kept an ear out for anything coming up behind them and watched everyone a head of him. He didn't like how Black treated the mares, always biting them and being rude. Angel looked over at Death as she fell into beside her and offered w weak apologetic smile before dropping her head back into submission.

As the galloped black saw a large cave that would do for a few days. He slowed to a stop and pinned his ears a bit and nipped bth star and angel. He turned his head and looked at grant and snorted.

Death star looked at her brother after he nipped her and she snorted before nipping him and trooting into the cave. She looked over to angel "Just do what he wants you to do."

Angel whimpered softly as he nipped her, but ignored him otherwise. She followed Death into the cave and stood near her, gazing at Grant who snorted back at Black. "Okay.." she whispered to the other mare. Grant looked back at Black and said, "On the way here, i heard some howls in the distance."

Black Cassuis looked at Grant "Then you watch the mares. I'll be back." He trotted away and into the forest.

Death Star looked up as her brother left and sighed before looking back to Angel "He's never been like this before, never."

Angel sighed, "I wonder whats making him act this way.." She decided to lie down and dropped to her knees, slowly lowering her body to the rocky ground. Grant glared after Black but turned back to the girls and sighed. "Hope it was nothing.."
A wolf howled in the distance again, but this time closer..

As Black journeyed further into the forest the howls got louder. His ears pinned back as the sound of growls and snarls started to surround him. He sipped where he was and reaed up keying out a neigh as a wolf charged at him spooking him.

Death star looked at grant then back to angel before walking to the mouth of the cave. She perked her ears forward when she heard her brothers niegh.

Grant watched the black mare a moment before turning his attention back to his sister.

A massive wolf emerged from the tree line and snarled at Black. It showed him its massive fangs and pawed at the ground, preparing to lunge at him.

Death Star pinned her ears back against her skull and started to slowly pace the mouth of the cave. She looked over at Angel and Grant before walking to the back and the cave and laying down.

Black Cassuis pinned his ears and looked at the wolf before pulling his head to his chest and rearing up high on his back legs and landing close to the wolf. He let out a shrill neighs and tossed his head before backing up.

Angel paid no mind to the action brewing outside. She could honestly careless. Instead, she whimpered softly and leaned against her brother's legs and tried to sleep.

Grant sighed and watched Death pace. "Why so irritated looking?" he asked as he dropped his mug to nudge Angel.

The wolf snarled at him as his fur bristled. He gathered up his strength, and lunged forward, narrowly missing the stallions legs as he flew by him. He landed and spun around, prepared to strike again.

Death Star looked at Grant and stoped pacing for a moment. "He is the only family that I have left. He is like a brother to me." She looked out of the mouth of the cave when she heard his neighing again and pinned her ears.

Black Cassuis watched the wolf as it got ready to strike again. He reared up again and landed very close to it once more.

Grant lifted an eyebrow, "I thought he was your brother?" he said as he watched her.

The wolf shied away when the stallion's hooves landed inches from him. He snarled at him and lunged again, this time biting his lower leg and bouncing away.

Death star shook her head and looked to Grant "He's my cousin. We were born at the time and always thought of eachother as brother and sister."

When black landed and got bit by the wolf he reared up and neither in pain as the wolfs teeth dug deep into his leg. When the wolf bounced away from him he landed and swung around and kicked out his back legs going is shoulder.

Death star looked back out into the forest and walked out slightly and listened to the fight as it escalated a bit.

Grant listened and nodded, "I see.." he felt somewhat awkward as he looked down at his slumbering sister. "Well, we are legit siblings." he told her, dropping his head to kiss her neck.

The wolf howled in pain as he felt the hoof strike his holder.

Death Star looked at Grant "I can tell." She gave a sigh and walked back to the cave wall and buckled her front legs and layed down. She looked around the cave then gave a soft snort then pulled her head to her chest and closed her eyes.

Black Cassuis turned back around after the wolf let out a painful howl. He reared up nieghing loudly landing back on the ground and wildly whipped his tail watching the wild.

The wolf limped to the side and whined, but he wasnt done yet. He growled and snapped at the horse, swinging his head to the side and lunged. He dipped between its legs and took hold of an ankle. he bit down as hard as he could before slipping out under his belly.

Death star: sleep.

Black cassuis whinnied in pain as the wolf dug his teeth deep into his ankle when he reared up. When he landed he had tried to either stomp on the wolf or bite him but neither worked out since it ran beneath his belly. He turned sharply and kept an eye on the wolf. Before it could do anything else he streatched his neck out at it and gave a harsh bite before pulling his head back and rearing high. Threating to strike again.

The wolf felt the stallion's teeth sink into his flesh and it cried out in pain. it howled and limped backward, backing up into a massive tree trunk. It knew it was cornered and his was possibly its end. It snarled at the horse and snapped its jaws, trying to look brave but knew those hooves could finish him.
