My attention whirled to Thorn, and I smiled. "Thank you, Thorn. I am greatful." I said, before watching him scold Storm. But when Thorn tried to nudge Storm away, Blaze whined. "No, please Thorn. Let her stay next to me. Storm makes me in less pain." He whispered, and licked the pup.
"Thorn... Please tell Nia that I am sorry for everything I have said to her before she dies. The regret and pain is making me feel like there is no use in living. I never wanted to yell at her, but I was doing it for Durnal." Blaze said to Thorn, and his tears fell as he searched Storm's eyes.
"You hate me... And I hate myself for causing you to." He whined, tears falling down his snowy cheeks. "I've always loved you, Storm. Your mother and I gave you that name. In honor of your pelt." He whispered a bit louder as his strength came back to him, but he remained on the ground.

Thorn paused, and stepped away from Storm. "Im not done with you yet, Storm. Durnals pups are better behaved than this, and they are younger than you!" Storm hung her head, and Pressed her muzzle into Blazes fur. "Blaze, I will. Nia is in pain, and I'm guessing she is in a really bad mood. But you know what, Blaze?" Thorn growled, "You're gonna live and tell her yourself. I won't allow you to die!"

Blaze groomed Storm's fur, and smiled warmly at her. But then I heard barking coming towards us. There was Dakota, Genocide, and Braekon and they leaped towards Thorn. "Uncle Thorn! Who is that black puppy over there? Can we play with her? Whats wrong with Uncle Blaze?" Dakota yipped, asking many questions. "Now you 3. Give them some space. That puppy over there is your cousin Storm." I said, nudging them away a bit.
"Hi Storm! I'm Dakota! This is Genocide, and Braekon!" Dakota barked happily, and Blaze smiled. "I will travel in a couple days to see Nia. Until then, I must rest." Blaze said, his brown gaze on Thorn.

Storm ducked away from the puppies. "Yes, that is Storm. But she has been a very bad girl. You can play with her once your Uncle Blaze is better. And Blaze, a couple weeks, not days. Gunshot wounds are serious."

"Alright, Thorn. And I think it would be better if I gave Nia some space." Blaze answered, and watched the pups curl around Blaze. "Are you OK, Uncle Blaze?" Genocide asked, her black pelt bristling and her electric blue eyes glistening. "Dakota is large for his age." Blaze said, his eyes fixed on the large and muscular pup.
"Well Dakota certainly looks a lot like Durnal." Blaze added, his eyes now looking at me.

Pelican stood around aimlessly.

(Well Thorn's little sister Storm came and practicly insulted Durnal, Blaze AND Pelican. And Blaze got shot, Thorn came looking for Storm and blah blah blah!)

Blaze pushed himself to his paws and met Pelican with a touch of his nose to hers, respectfully. "I got wonderful news." He started. "Shadow has joined Thorn's-" I cut him off by pinning him to the ground, and putting a paw on his neck.
"Blaze. Shut up! You cant give away Shadow's position." I snarled quietly.

Pelican snarled, huffing in annoyance. " Good for Shadow. Though I don't really care." Turning away from them, she wondered off.

I sighed as she stalked off, and glared at Blaze. "You need to keep your mouth shut about things, you know that." I growled in a low tone, before padding to the edge of the territory and over onto Lucifer's. Stopping at the marsh, I dipped my head in a greeting to the older Alpha.
"Greetings Lucifer. I hope you don't mind me here." I started, lifting my head. "I'm just checking on things. How is your mate, Dalila?" I asked.

Pelican came out of her brother's den. Standing beside Delilah, the gorgeous snow flaked fae with stormy coated pelt. Lucifer looked up at Durnal, dipping his head he slowly made his way up to him. One of his hips snapping out of place then back in, he winced. " Oooh, gotta love old age huh?" He whispered then stood over Durnal now. " Is there something you need Durnal?" He asked, Pelican stared at Durnal then whispered something to Delilah who gazed at her with wide eyes. " Are you sure?" She whispered back. And Pelican nodded. " It would be the best for my pups and me." Delilah smiled, licking her nieces cheek.

I laughed as Lucifer talked about old age, but shook my head. "No theres nothing I need. I'm just checking on things, making sure everything is alright." I replied, then looked at Dalilah. "And how are you Dalilah?" I asked, dipping my head once then looking at Pelican.
"What's going on? What would be the best for our pups?" I asked, now concerned Pelican was hiding something from me.

" I'm fi-" Delilah was cut off by Lucifer as he stepped back, glancing from Pelican to Durnal. " What's going on here?" He growled. Pelican sighed, looking at Durnal. " I think it would be best if me and the pups stayed here for awhile, there is too much danger in our territory. I don't want to risk one of our pups getting hurt." She said boldly. Delilah walked over to Lucifer, nuzzling his shoulder. " It would be just for a couple weeks, until Durnal. You have to relocate your pack, hunters know where you are." Lucifer spoke in now, " And I'd be damned if you brought them onto my land." He snarled.

I listened to Pelican speak, and nodded. "Yes. You and the pups should stay here while I find a new location for the pack." I agreed, and looked at Lucifer and narrowed my eyes. "I'm already damned that you could even think that I'd lead them to your land." I sneered lightly. Though Lucifer was a nice Brute, he was really starting to piss me off.
"I swear on the soul of my father, Talon. I will not lead one human onto your territory." I swore, holding my head high.

Lucifer growled, flattening his ears back to his cranium. Fur beginning to bristle, he snapped at Durnal. " Don't you get attitude with me young Alpha! Respect your elders!" He brutally sneered at him. Though Pelican stepped in between the two, colliding her fangs onto her brothers snout, making him yelp and narrow his eyes down at his little sister. Pelican gave Lucifer a death glare, then nuzzled Durnal off. " Go. Now. Don't start anything, I'll be ending it real quick if you do." She glared at him. Then turned back to look at Delilah and Lucifer before padding off to get the pups.

"I'm not he one that tried to accuse me of smething." I growled at Lucifer before looking at Pelican. I noded.

Avalon returned from his hunting trip empty handed. There was no prey that he could even begin to track. He knew that he had to inform Durnal but decided to wait until he was done with his current conversation.

I returned to the den to see Avalon empty pawed. I snorted but dipped my head. "Thats alright, Avalon." I said, kowing we already had food.
