My pups scampered over clumsily. "Daddy! Whos that male over there!?" Genocide barked. Dakota on the other paw had already attacked Avalon. "Dakota! No, son! He's a friend." I scolded my biggest and strongest pup, who also looked exactly like me.
"Whats his name?" Dakota barked. "That's Avalon." I whispered to the pups before they all tackled them playfully. "Pups..." I growled lightly, before pulling them off of Avalon. "Avalon. This is Dakota, Genocide, and Braekon." I told him.

[Stormsong]

Avalon laughed as the flurry of fluffy bodies and tiny teeth over took him. He couldn't help but wag his tail. When Durnal pulled them off of him he smiled. "Hello there puppies," he barked has tail wagging faster.

"Hello Avalon! I'm Dakota!" He barked, his black coat shining and his green eyes gleaming. "I'm Genocide." She yipped, and then Braekon added, "And I'm Braekon." The smallest and weakest of the three. Though he was still quite strong.
I chuckled as the pups wagged their tails at Avalon. "They just love newcomers." I said softly.

[Stormsong]

"I can see that," he said and prodded Dakota with his paw. He dropped down into a playful crouch. "Well you guys and girl," he winked at Genocide, "Why don't have some fun!"

Dakota jumped first, landing on his shoulder. "Grrrrr, I got you!" He barked before the other two jumped and played. Soon the pups bounded outside, and down swooped an eagle. It tried to take Genocide, but I got there first and snarled.
The bird screeched and sliced its talons over my forehead before soaring away. "Daddy!" Braekon barked. "I'm alright pups... I've gone through so much more than this." I said softly before leading the pups into the den, back to Avalon.

[Stormsong]

Avalon stood gaping in shock. It had happened so fast. "I'm sorry I shoud have been keeping a closer watch," he said and shook his head.

I nudged him. "Its not your fault. Birds should know not to attack an Alpha's pup when I'm standing right there." I said to him, before licking the pups.

[Stormsong]

Avalon nodded. "How old are they away?' he asked. He smiled at Genocide and wagged his tail, hoping to comfort her silently.

"My pups are almost 5 weeks old." I replied, before adding, "I'm 4 and 2 months, and Pelican turned 5 a couple days after I turned 4."

[Stormsong]

Avalo sat down and gave him a serious look. "When do plan on apprenticing them?" he asked.

"I would say in maybe about 2 weeks or so." I replied, looking down at the pups. "Daddy! I want my mentor now!" Dakota barked. I sighed, and looked Dakota in the eyes. "You wont get a mentor at all if you speak like that." I scolded. "S-Sorry Daddy..." He replied.

[Stormsong]

Avalon chuckled. His eyes flashed with amusement.

But I did decide on mentors already. I was thinking on being Dakota's mentor, while I give Avalon Genocide to mentor and Braekon could have Blaze. "I think I have decided the mentors." I whispered in Avalon's ear.

[Stormsong]

"Oh really?" he leaned closer. "Who?" he whispered back.

[P r o m i s e r]

"Well I have decided on having myself mentor Dakota, while you mentor Genocide, and Blaze could mentor Braekon." I told him happily. "Genocide will be so happy. She likes you a lot." I added.

[Stormsong]

Avalon laughed. "Really? I've only been here for a few mintues," he commented.

"Yes, but Genocide will be glad to have you to mentor her." I replied before glancing at Braekon. "Braekon looks so much like Pelican's brother. Lucifer, Alpha of Circo Pack." I explained. I wasn't really the kind of wolf that liked Lucifer a whole lot.
He told me things I already knew, and he thinks he can outsmart me, I thought.

"Whose he?" Avalon asked curiously.

"Lucifer is Pelican's brother." I replied, still looking at Braekon. I shook my head away to face Avalon. "So, how do you feel about mentoring Genocide?" I asked, changing the subject.

[Stormsong]

Avalon stretched himself out on the ground and yawned. "Not sure," he replied casually. "I've never had to mentor a pup before."

"Its easy... You teach them how to fight, hunt, and stuff like that." I told him before giving him a wonderous glance. "How old are you?" I asked.

[Stormsong]

Avalon shrugged. "Young. I never bothered to keep track of my age."

I chuckled and nosed him. "Cmon... Who could forget their own age? I can still remember the awful past I had." I said. But then I realized I had said to much, and I put my paw over my muzzle.
