The guard nodded and backed out of the room. A moment later, the doors swung open and ten guards led in four theif dressed in back, their faces covered by a cloth veil. They forced the theives to their knees.

soraya watched as the thieves were led into her throne room. moon beam started to growl " moon easy" she said before rising form her throne " i have heard that you have tried stealing from the royal family" she said as she walked down the five steps to the ground with moon beam at her side. " well who is in charge of you" she said directly to them as she made direct eye contact with each of them. her mint green eyes stood out against her olive skin even more now that her long dark brown wavy hair was down put decorated with alittle bit of ribbon and jewels.

One man lifted his head, but the guard forced it back down. "I am," the theif said.

" allow him to look up if he wishes" soraya said to the guard that pushed the mans head down then turning back to the leader " and what brought you here or more importantly lead you to try and steal from the royal family" she said as she took a few steps closer her skirt moved in the breeze as it was mid summer "surely you could have come and merely asked for some money, the royal city has done far better in the last few years and can now afford to-do things like give money to those in need".

The theif hesitated before he answered. "He wanted the jewels."

a little confused by what the thief was getting at soraya studied the man before asking " and what name would belong to this "he"" she said. soraya had never given up on Dhiren but it had been 4 years with no sign of him, she thought his father had killed him for letting her get away all those years ago.

The theif boldly stood, ignoring the threats from the guards and the retorts from his fellow theives. He removed the cloth from his head and revealed a handsome face with a horried scar under his eye. "My father."

soraya backed up as the thief stood, moon growled ready to pounce. as the man that stood took off his hood soraya's eyes grew wide with tears, she had to cover her mouth " guards take the other three to the dungeon i would like to speak privately with their leader" she said in a steady voice as her eyes were looked with her beloved Dhiren's

as her guards nodded and obeyed her, for they knew she was well equipped to handle herself. as soon as the chamber doors to the throne room shut, soraya took off for Dhiren's arms " my beloved Dhiren you came back to me" she said as she placed his face in her hands gazing into his eyes before pressing her soft plumped lips to his

He smiled and wrapped his arms around her. He kissed her back passinately before he relcuntantly pulled away. He stood there and rocked her back and forth, tears coming to his eyes.

soraya wiped her own tears away before letting a gentle laugh escape her lips " Dhiren there is no need to cry" she said as she wiped his tears form his face

He smild and rested his head on hers. "I thought that I would never get to see you again. I thought that I wouldn't survive." He kissed her again.

" as did i but here you are" soraya said as she placed her hands on his chest, she sighed and touched the scar " what did he do to you"

Dhiren winced under her touch and gently took her hand in his and kissed her palm. He held her tightly and nuzzled her neck. "I'd rather not talk to you about it," he whispered in her ear.

Sprays closed her eyes and sighed softly as Dhiren held her. She smiled as he took her hand and kissed it the nuzzled her neck, soraya enjoyed his touch, but when he said he didn't want to tell her, she sigh then gave Dhiren a soft glance "alright" she said as she kissed his cheek then his neck

"What now Soraya?" he asked. "We can't stay like his forever." He pulled away and looked her in the eye.

Soraya turned her back to Dhiren and took a few steps away and hen turned to face him again, as she did this moon beam came and sat be her side " I know that, but things have changed since the last time we saw each, I'm the queen now, I have the responsibility as the queen to protect my people" so rays took steps towards him "what do you want me to say, you did save me but now you stealing from me"

"He told me too," Dhiren told her. "He told me to do it...... Or else."

"Or else what, I know your father is a cruel man" soraya said as she looked at Dhiren with sad eyes " what do you want me todo" she said searching his eyes for an answer

He hesitated. "This." He slowly removed his shirt and turned around slowly. His chest and back were covered in scars and a few were so fresh that they still bled when he flexed his muscles.

Soraya's eyes widen at the sight of Dhiren removing his shirt, but tears started to form as she saw the scars. "Come with me" she said as she took his hand and led him to her bed chamber. As the reached her room she sat him on her bed then went into her bathroom, only to return with a bowl of warm water and a cloth. She kneeled down in between his legs and started to wipe the blood away " no one deserved to be treated like this"

He winced when the hot water touched his skin, making his wounds bleed more. But he soon relaxed, his eyes dark with pain. "A queen, shouldn't be tending to the wounds of a theif," he forced a smile on his face, hoping she would understand his joke.

As soraya continued to clean his wounds she heard his joke about the queen and thief, she smiled and looked up into his eyes " that may be true, but a lover has every right to clean the wounds of her beloved" she said softly as she kissed each of his scars after washing then

Dhiren twisted around and kissed her on the lips. "Thank you Soraya," he said.
