Kiva groaned in agony as she approached a thin ribbon-like stretch of water that wound about the humid, secluded cave, moss collecting around its smooth and rather damp borders. With a few limp-y strides, she had made it to the stream's edge, where she rinsed the blood from her pearl coat, leaving the water an eerie crimson hue. Using the gift given unto her by her mother, she healed her wounds by, and I kid you not, water bending, and satisfactorily cleansing her injuries to a point that they only appeared to be minor scrapes. Only a dim light that peaked through the cracks in the ceiling of the cave lit the structure, so it was quite relaxing, along with the silence that Kiva had adored oh so dearly. While enjoying the delight of such serenity, she decided to rest, but only momentarily, for she knew at any given moment, Hell could break loose, and perhaps not even figuratively.

(I know it's not much, but hopefully this is good enough to step off on.)

`Midaous`~

Midaous snarled as his muscles rippled through his pelt, his flashing crimson eyes flared out rapidly with fury. As he put a foot hold on the edge of a mountains edge, he looked over the cliff. Pieces of rocks crumbling down towards the creek between the two separated mountains, the large multi-colored beast grunted. Shifting his weight on one leg before turning and taking off through the forest, his enormous body smashing trees down to there stumps and branches snapping from the mass of his broad-shoulders. Sneering lightly, he instantly skidded in his tracks to smell the sweet scent of a fae; his nose twitching slightly. The large male stiffened, sheathing himself deep into the shadows. Following the female close behind her, he masked his scent with mud so she wouldn't suspect him. His glowing red eyes, changed immediately to a pitch black. Silently he stalked her, watching her carefully. Shrinking down to the low grass, picking his paws up to where it seemed he was levitating.

Kiva instantly sensed a presence that crept closer during her slumber, causing her to stir and leap to her feet. She shifted into a neutral stance that bared no threat whatsoever, but her kinesthesia and wits remained pin-point sharp. Her eyes traveled around the rather ample beast, her eyes catching his for only a brief moment. They were a deathly black, which sent shivers up her spine. Such an unholy color could only be produced by the Dark Prince, who was most likely a relative of this creature somehow. She remained silent, waiting for the male to speak first.

`Midaous`~

Midaous sneered, his eyes reflecting back to their normal blazing red. The flaming marking above his right eye, lit up brightly. He let out a low grunt, stalking from out of the shadows. His massive body vibrating with each step he took forward, he stopped only inches from the fae; towering over her. His muscles rippled through his pelt, making it down up then back down again. He lowered his head to look at her, " Who might you be?" He asked in a deep, scary voice; but it seemed to come out with his most handsome and charming tone.

Untouched by his tone, Kiva simply directed her eyes towards the beast and began to speak. "Kiva," the words fell from her tongue softly, and more colloquy rolled off her stiff lips. "And you?" A slight feeling writhed about the pits of her soul that this being was ungodly, more sacrilegious than any brute she had ever encountered before. However, this sensation did not exasperate her, for a being as sacred as herself shouldn't fret about dark creatures, unless coming face to face with the Dark Prince himself. The Dark Prince had really made an appearance in the barbarian, which only brought more curiosity about the male to mind.

`Midaous`~

Midaous snorted, chuckling evilly. He slowly stalked around the fae, his large figure tensing with strength and power he possessed. He drew in a deep breath before answering her, " Midaous, known as the Dark Prince." He said in a dark voice. He smirked at her, slightly rubbing up against her. Almost making her fall from his massive weight. His huge paws pressed deep into the dirt, slightly burning the ground as he did so.

Shivers rippled throughout Kiva's dainty figure, causing her to inhale an abridged, choppy pant, and her heart pounded furiously deep inside her chest. Despite the disturbing news thrown her way, she managed to regain control of her anxiousness. "What brings you here?" she questioned nimbly and had sworn she felt the ground quake beneath her when Midaous pressed against her slim body.

Midaous chuckled, grinning down at her. His flaming eyes clouded with blood, he flicked his ears sharply. Listening to the dence sounds of the forest that crept around in the shadows of the tree lines. He circled her slowly, focusing eye contact with the fae. " Prowling. Wandering. Ad-venturing." He said the last word slowly with a smirk placed upon his broad-face. Legs rippled, sending slight shivers to make his body shake just a tad, he stopped behind her. Tail twitching, he licked down her spine with his snake-like tongue. Drawing it in once, before spitting out words inbetween his long daggers. " What is a delicate flower like yourself, doing out in this cold, curel Forest of The Souls?" He chuckled, looking at her well formed muscles and body build. Quite a beauty to be wandering around herw. The large beast thought.

With his superficial assumption, Kiva let out a scoff, and she gave him the same dastardly smirk he had swung at her. "I'm anything but delicate, I assure you," she uttered dangerously, slight warning lingering around the words that slid from her mouth. "Oh, and don't touch me," she mentioned, whirling around to face the Dark Prince, who had pushed his forked tongue along the alignment of her spine. Her eyes squinted bluntly for a moment as she hopefully tried to get the threat across to Midaous she wasn't one to be reckoned with, considering he had already mistaken her for a weak mortal who could easily be taken advantage of, and in all honesty, she was far from being so. She exhumed a beleaguered breath and placed her weight on her hind left paw, her hips shifting to support the adjustment.

Midaous smirked at her reaction. Slowly but awofting bringing her down with a massive paw. He snapped at her maw, " You may want to keep your words in your mouth before you get hurt." He spat bitterly. Eyes flashing and muscles rippled beneath him. Pressing weight onto her throat but not to much, he let out a strong yet humble growl to show her he was the dominant male. He beckoned his tail; irritated with the fae already.

Lips curving into a scandalous smirk, Kiva rolled out from beneath Midaous with ease, almost in a belittling way. "Getting hurt is the least of my worries at the moment, dear," she affirmed smugly and began stretching her limbs. After a quick mental recap of previous happenings, she had now remembered his question hurdled at her prior to being pinned to ground. "I'm here for no reason, just wandering. I know it's a rather boorish response, but what I speak is true."

Midaous growled as she rolled out from under him, he stomped a large white paw onto the Earth, shaking it rapidly with the power he possessed. The brute snapped at her maw lightly, " You should be worried." He curled his lip, narrowing his eyes as he met her gleaming ones. Glaring deep into her soul, findind gnothing he snorted, shaking his head. Then pricked his ears to hear her response, with a roll of his eyes he stepped forward. Muscles rippled then stopped as he did so, towering over her. He drew in a deep breath before coming out with words, spitting thorugh clentched teeth. " There is no reason you should be in this forest."

"There's no need for me to be fretting over such a vile creature, much like yourself," she uttered flatly, tone lacking emotion. "And no, there is no reason for me to be in the forest. But, as I said before, I came here wandering. Any reason for you to be here?" Kiva's gaze traced over Midaous's figure; he was clearly not one to be toyed with, that is, if you were an average soul with the wits of a stone.

Midaous sneered, glaring down at her. Shaking his head at her question. " This is my forest." He snarled, slowly stalking aorund her once again before stopping to hear a rustling sound. He narrowed eyes down at a rabbit hopping between his legs, smirking he immediately snatched up the plump fragile body. The rabbit squeaked at the lagre brutes snatch up. He grinned, glaring into the eyes of the creature. Pulling out his soul slowly before tossing the body of the rabbit to the side after he stopped breathing.

Anger and disgust fluttered about Kiva's soul as he sucked the very essence of the creature who had unluckily wandered by and met a cold fate. "You don't own these woods," she grumbled under the low, blood-curdling hum of her growl. She had snapped. The Dark Prince had murdered yet another being, and what had I done? Just stood there. Fantastic, Kiva. Is this what you're planning to do?

Midaous sneered, throwing her roughly to the ground. He snapped sharp daggers at her face, baring missing the tip of her muzzle by an inch. He growled within his throat, fangs sheathed and claws extended firmly. " Don't test me fae!" He snapped. Drawing his massive head up and letting out a grunt. Narrowed eyes looking down at her, he snorted.

Kiva's eyes set a-glow, intensity of such a blaze fueled by complete and utter fury. She coasted her paws to rest up beneath the underbelly of the massive beast, and within the liquid-like motion, she rid Midaous from skyscraping over her. Without a moment in time lost, she lurched to her feet and gave him a most amoral glare, eyes squint and brows furrowed. Her head sank lightly with her shoulders seemingly protruding from her skin as she locked into a defensive stance.

Midaous sneered, not at all timid by how she reacted. He rolled his eyes, letting his muscles ripple and his legs tense with apprehesion. He shook his massive frame before taking a step forward. His head tucked into his crescent shaped chest. His ears pinned tightly down to his cranium. Claws extended firmly, driving into the soft soil beneath him. He narrowed his eyes, ready for her. If she was going to attack why didn't she do it earlier? He asked himself.

Kiva remained stiff in her position for only a moment's notice, but then eased as she loosened grip on the negative feelings that clung to her mind, and once again, she returned to her naturally rational state. "Do you take me for some sort of fool?" she questioned calmly as the light that emanated from her eyes deliberately faded. She had an astonishingly controllable temper and seldom did she become so angry she'd lose the common sense of comprehending good from evil.

Midaous sneered, tired of her games. He knocked her down to her feet, snarling. " Why would I mistake you of some sort of fool, my dear?" He asked with a smirk. Flicking his tail oncec before vanishing out of thin-air. Reappearing behind her, he nipped her again and disappeared quickly. Now settling himself up top of a low hanging tree branch. He criss-crossed his paw before lying his massive head down upon them. Glaring at her with intentive looking eyes.

Kiva grumbled a few curses beneath her breath before answering his question. "I'm wise enough not to trifle with you. And I hate using the word trifle because it makes me sound as if I fear you," she answered rather hastily before rolling to her feet and giving out an agitated scoff.

Midaous sneered, shaking his head. He lifted his crown to look at her dead in the eye before replying. " You should be afraid of me. Do you know that I can kill you easily right now. Without any regrets or hesitations." He glared at her, being dead serious.

"Kill me?" Kiva laughed, pricking him with the needle twined with such taunting sound. "I see you're unaware of my power." Her lips played a unsafe smirk as she advanced closer towards Midaous. A mere few feet from the tree in which he was tacked to, Kiva paused, deliberately tilting her head towards the Dark Prince. Then, she produced a swift motion of the feet, forcing the ground beneath the tree to shoot upward, sending the tree far into the unknown.

Midaous gasped loudly to feel the tree shoot upward into the air. Snarling with disgust he immediately started to bur. The tree down tours roots. Quickly leaping up and his demonic state was revealed and Midaous normal self was left in the ruins of the shadow behind his demon self. He landed on the earth. As he did the floor of it flew up high around. Only where he stood was a sharp crescent that was pressed down towards hells grounds. He let a rippling growl reflect. Stalking out of the dusk to stand over the fae. His eyes blazing and muscles twitching. He started to grow wings and they sores outward widely.
