Annie waited excitedly by the gates, confidently pawing at the ground and flicking out her coal black mane. With a beautiful whinny, Annie burst out of the gate and started to walk around in a circle, following her handler's hand. Annie's ears flattened but one flicked up in curiosity. Her mother and father have been show ponies all their life, including their folks, which made Annie a pure, pedigree Welsh pony. As bids started to be chanted out Annie looked at all of the humans around her. Taking it at her own pace, Annie eased into a beautifully paced extended trot, ignoring her handlers cries and yells signalling her to stop. A fat man sat in a seat banged down his hammer which made Annie stop, she flung her head up and waited for the lucky one to come and collect her.
