I Hit The Deck, I hit Rock Bottom (PG-13) (S I O N)

Past~

Snow covered the the small bodies of Sovrano's brothers and sisters. His mother violently dragged him back by the loose skin on the back of his neck. "Come eat." she said. He followed her orders. Then his mother left. She said she would be right back, but she never returned.

Present~

Sovrano crouched low, pouncing on his prey. The injured buck fell to the ground. The male wolf dragged it back to his den, tearing at it's skin. He moved the rest of the meat he didn't devour to the side, then ventured back into the hot sun. He had lived here ever since his mother abandoned him, forcing him to take care of himself. Sovrano snarled at the sun, cursing that it had to be so hot. He laid down, basking a little before going to the water hole nearby.

(Blah. It's not the best. But, oh well... I'm sorry it stinks.)
