History: At a young age, Atsuki’s family was basically torn to shreds. When he was around 5 years of age, his mother died in a car-crash involving a drunk driver. After that, his father went into a vengeful depression, and was seriously infected with Silent. He became labeled a murder shortly after that, and, in the end, ended up committing suicide. Atsuki was old enough by that point that he could take care of himself and Ophelia with relative ease. Ophelia constantly tried cheering Atsuki up, but she’d been so young at the time Atsuki knew that she didn’t understand it much, which was painful for him to realize. About two years after his mother’s death, Ophelia was violently murdered by a person infected with Silent. In a skirmish between the Silent infectee, Atsuki’s eye and arm were both damaged severely, and he had to have surgery. Before the surgery an organization (fighting the Silent in the world) called Fort got a hold of him and had Signum Anima (sigma) implanted surgically in him. His sigma powers were given to him by the Lux-Pain ring, Gawain. Ever since then he’s worked as a FALCO in Fort.
