Just A Face In The Crowd...(Daydreamer)

Alexandra leaned up against the side of a tree that hung over her, in the middle of the school grounds. Everyone laughing and talking together, all in a pack aorund eachother. Alexandra was an outsider, but really popular. But weired how everyone knows her at school, she rarely talks to anyone. She sat under the tree, a ear phone that was connected to her Samsung Infuse, that clung into one ear, the other ear phone dangling on her side, the song 'Modivation' blasting in her ear drums. In the palm of her hands she held a book, called 'Breaking Dawn'. As she turned the next page of her book, she heard the cheerleaders call over to her. Alexandra looked up, glancing over at them. They called out to her; " Hey Alexandra! Whatcha readin?!" They began to laugh at eachother, glancing over at me from time to time. Ignoring Sasha's coment, who was the leader of them all. Alexandra went back to reading, switching the song. 'How to Love' now dancing in her ears.

Connor glared from the side of the school at the cheerleader's who were doing some dance in front of him. It made him sick just to watch them. They had no self-respect bouncing around barely clothed. With guys looking up their skirts to add to everything. He shook his head as he stood up, trying to find a better place to listen to his music and study his history text-book, it was his favorite subject. He actually took enjoyment in it. Connor was one of the most "hottest" guys in school, but he didn't go with the normal crowds. He had a couple of friends from classes, and that was it. He just wanted High School to be over, to start real training for boxing it was the greatest way to get out his anger problems, he didn't know why he had them though. He had a perfect family and a perfect life, but somewhere there was a time bomb just waiting to be set off. He walked over to a tree, and saw that there was a girl, his age leaning against it. He didn't look up, but just went on the other side of it. Falling against it and sitting down, opposite of the cheerleaders, and opening his book again.

Alexandra looked up from her book, watched a boy, about her age walk on the other side of the tree. Alexandra turned and went back to reading, fliping the page again. She sat their in silence. Looking up from her book to see shadows cast over her. Her head slowly traveled to met the cheerleaders standing before her. Alexandra did not acknownledge them, but simpily went back to reading. The head cheerleader; Sasha gripped Alexandra's book in the palm of her hands. Throwing it aside, they all began to laugh. Alexandra got up slwoly, shoving her way past them, bending down to pick the book up. Alexandra was the most prettiest girls in school. Some of the guys that were watching, just shook their heads at the cheerleaders. Alexandra turned swiftly around and soon enough jumped back as they were right up in her face. She rolled her eyes, " Get out of my way." She sneered. The cheerleaders looked at eachother, as they smacked their gum. Sasha pushed me, " What did you say." Alexandra grew tired of their games, and threw her stuff to the ground. " Did I studder?!" She snapped, shoving Sasha away from her. Making her fly back a couple of feet. Alexandra sneered, narrowed eyes. Sasha slapped her in the face, laughing. Alexandra pressed her hand on her cheek where Sasha had slapped her. With eyes full of rage, she put her fist in a tight hold. Before swinging out at her, punching Sasha in the face. Everyone gasped, rushing over to Sasha. Alexandra turned, picking up her stuff and walking away.

Connor sat there, and then watched the chaos unfold in front of him. That Sasha girl was really setting the girl on the other side of the tree off. He put his history textbook down, ready for some sort of cat-fight. He watched as the head cheerleader gave him a small glace and then she threw the book to the side. Connor looked at her with disgust, she just loved attention she really did. He caught sight of who it was, Alexandra....the girl he had a crush on ever since they were little. They lived right across the street from each other but lately just haven't been talking. He narrowed his eyes at the cheerleaders now ready to step in, he knew Alex had quite a temper. Almost as bad as his, he couldn't help but chuckle at the thought. He saw Sasha go flying on her ass and he couldn't help but stifle a laugh, served her right. Then she got up and just went up to Alex, and slapped her. Connor started to get up, "Ok..." he began to say, then he heard a crack as Alex punched Sasha. "You broke my nose you little Bi***! She swore at her, but Alex was already walking away. Connor grabbed his knap-sack and followed Alexandra, stepping around the large crowd that was surrounding Sasha. "Alex!" he yelled at her as he jogged over to her,

Alexandra turned sharply as someone called her name. With narrowed eyes she looked over the boy. Noticing it was Conner, she calmed down. Turning to walk beside him. " Yes?" She asked dryly. Alexandra was shy around Conner, she had a huge crush on him for a very long time. Alex looked over at him, flexing out her hand. " That b*tch has a hard face, just like her head." she said roughly. Rolling her eyes in annoyance. Alexandra was not one to play around with when it came to pissing her off. She will hurt you and thats no dought bout it..

Connor looked at her, a concerned expression on his face. He laughed at her remark, "Yes well, you can't really go around punching people on school grounds" Look who's talking he thought to himself, he was one of the biggest instigators of fights at the school. With his temper and all, but lately he seemed to be handling it well. He matched his pace with her's as the walked. They neared the school building, "You had it coming though, reading that crappy book" he said with a smirk, teasing her as he always did.

Alexandra snarled at him, snapping her teeth at his comment. She stopped in her tracks, turning to face him. " Well, Connor.. Look who's talking. The one who always gets into fights; You little pest." She spat at him, with her slight humor and cockyness like always. She smirked at him and kept walking. " Well, thats the only thing good to read at the moment. And look at you, reading them school books. How you dare say something to me, I should be the one throwing their little pom poms around and jumping in the hair; trying to show off to the jocks!" Sneered lightly. But chuckling softly, Alexandra sighed. " Connor what are you doing? We hadn't talked in like a year.. Why did you choose now?" She asked. he should now that Alex never went up to people and started a convo, since she was never good at that, except around her parents and him. When they were little, Alex could always talk to Connor about things.

Connor laughed and held his hands up as if for mock surrender. He could tell he was really getting under her skin and it might of not been a good idea to stir her up now. He raised an eyebrow, "Pest? Really.." he said with a chuckle. He frowned, "Hey you always knew I liked history, I always bore you with it," he said and then laughed, "oh Please don't go that way, I'll pull you off that team myself, they're just a bunch of skanks those girls, excuse me but they are" he said cocking his head at her. He shrugged, "When you lost it out there, I couldn't help remember you when we were little, you haven't changed much, I think I still have the bruise on my cheek from when you punched me two summer's ago" he said with a laugh. He could honestly remember that family trip like it was yesterday. Earlier in the day they were also partnered up for a project. "Plus I needed to ask you if we could work on that project tonight, i'll have to apologize you getting stuck with me" he said with a small roll of his eyes, imitating her.

Alexandra glanced at him with a slight glare of immediate smirk. " Shut up Connor.." She said shoving him slightly. She chuckled, putting her hands in her coat pocket. " I remember, I punched you because you slapped my ass!" Alexandra raised an eye-brow at him. Rolling her eyes, then shook her head. " Hell no! I would never become a prissy cheerleader like then whores out there!" Alex snarled in shear disgust. Then nodding to his question. " Sure.. Why not? But don't bore me with hsitory again!" She sneered, laughing almsot instantly. A smile dancing across her beautiful slim; zit-free face.

Connor kept his hands up. ", Hey, I was young and foolish and stupid" he said with a smile. "I deserved it, I think..." He rolled his eyes at her, "And Alex, I won't be doing all the work on this one, you should shed a little light on our project since you act so smart all the time" he said with a wink. "why don't you prove to me how smart you are" he said with a laugh as he watched her. Why didn't he notice before how pretty she was? Well he did, but they were younger then and he didn't have the balls to ask her out anyways, but now maybe he had a shot.

Alexandra cocked her head to one side, laughing the slightest bit. " Okay.. I'll show you." she said simpily. Turning and walking off, her hands gripping to the edges of her books she held in her arms. Alex looked over her shoulder, past Connor and at the cheerleaders. Sasha was staring at her with narrowed eyes. Alex let out a muffled chuckle, before hearing the bell ring. But she didn't care, she just kept on walking. Off campuss, she stopped, turning to look over at Connor. She rolled her eyes. " What! Are you still the goody goody toe-shoes?!" she yelled at him, laughing almsot instantly. She shook her head, waiting to see if he wasn't, anymore...

Connor chuckled at her, "This should be good..." he mumbled to himself as he followed her. He saw Sasha glaring at her and then he winked at her. Sasha's glare faltered as she saw him and lost her footing on a pyramid they were practicing and fell over. Connor looked away, trying to hold in a laugh. Being good looking had its perks. He heard the bell ring, and stopped walking, realizing that Alex was going to be skipping school, he narrowed his eyes at her, "Really?" he said with a sigh and hesitated. Finally he shrugged, and jogged up to her, "Fine," he said "you know my parent's though, i'll tell them this was your bright idea when they find out" he said with a laugh.

Alexandra rolled her eyes at him. Slamming her hands in her coat pockets. Then, she shrugged, " Eh, I'm not scared of your parents. Mine don't faze me either." She said with a slight shudder. Alex had a mother and a father that beats her everyday. Thats whys he wears a jacket and skinny jeans to hide the brusies. Alexandra had a history of vampires that is sent down the family line. Alexandra is starting to wonder if she is one, but shrugging the thoguht off. Knowing shes not, she started to focus on Connor. She shoved him lightly, " Hey, cheer up. Your gonna be fine.." She said only sarcasticly. She chuckled, knowing he wouldn't, if his parents found out, he is toast. Alexandra jsut wished for once, that someone cared if she skipped school or got into trouble, just once..
