Pearls and Onyx (Father needed) Empty Pearls and Onyx (Father needed)

The warm breeze danced through the knee high grass of the foaling field. The grass swayed with the breeze of spring that came in bursts and left without warning. The sun glowed softly in the blue sky above, letting her warm rays sweep across the field's rolling hills. Scattered trees rocked gently to and fro as their leaves shimmied and shook along the branches making a sweet lullaby.
Beneath one of the rocking trees, a large yellow lump move up and down in jerky movements. The large mass twitched and jerked, the occasional leg flying up and then slamming down. Moving closer, a slender head would jerk up and nip at the rounded backside before lying back down. Closer yet, you can make out its a palomino mare heavy in foal, actually in labor at the moment. She is a huge creature with a bulging stomach that heaves with every breath she takes and every time she tries to push out her struggling foal.
Taking deep breaths, she squeezes her royal blue eyes closed and gives a final push. Grunting and whinnying in pain, she forces the foal out. It slides free from her body and flops helplessly on the ground, tangled in the blue and red sac. The mare struggled to her hooves and turns around to lick the mess from her baby's face so it can breathe. It snorts and inhales deeply. It flails its stringy legs as she tries to calm it by licking its entire body clean. Before long, she has it warm and dry and its standing on all fours, suckling.

Pearl stands guard over her baby boy as it drinks greedily from her full teats. For 11 months they filled till they hurt each time she walked and she was relieved to finally have them emptied. Craning her head, she glanced under her and and smiles, seeing they are not swollen any more. Elevating her Arabian head again, she gazes out across the empty valley scanning for danger such as wolves, forcer stallions, and foal hungry mares.
The sun streamed down and rested upon her golden coat making it shine. It trailed along her white stocking legs and highlighted the pearl locks that grew from her neck. Her mane cascaded over her muscular, thin neck tickling her shoulders and the back side of her baby. Her matching tail twisted around her back legs and stray strands floated in the breeze. Her forelock lie over her white blaze and created a curtain across her blue eyes. Her pink lips sought out her child's soft rump and she kissed it.
The foal was a magnificent sight. He was bigger than most newborns, and unlike his mother, his coat was a rich shade of ebony. He still had her build and blue eyes, but his appearance was much like his father's. Pearl decided to call him Onyx. It described his coloring to the max.
Onyx drew out from under her belly, licking his fuzzy mug and and gurgling the last of his drink. He flicked his short fuzzy tail and spun around, tripping over his legs and tumbling to the ground in a fit of squeals. Pearl laughed softly and lowered her mug to his underside and tickled him.

Pearls and Onyx (Father needed) Oregon3

Oregon , the proud black stud carried his dish-shaped head high, his long neck stretched out as his quick feet moved over the earth. His black tail string out like a woven wavy banner behind him, his long blanket of ebony colored mane slapped against his muscled neck and whithers as he cantered in and out of the maze of trees in a lightly foliaged forest. The sun made his coat appear a dark shade of red brown as he moved skillfully over the ground, his nostrils flaring as he picked up speed, leaping over logs and rocks.

He broke through the greenery, into the open yet secure meadow, small flowers and tall lush grasses tickled his fetlocks as he searched for his mare and new colt, his flowing forelock settled into a perfect line on his white-blazed face. The soft movement of mother and spawn caught his gentle brown eye as he looked at the flaxen mare and dark foal, a smile tore his lips and he let out a proud whinny, his voice carried in the wind. He threw his grand head back and kicked his front feet out as he feared up in the air, and trotted toward his newfound family.

With soft nickers and moans, he greeted his new son, and set a gently muzzle against his mare's velvet maw, bickering polite and loving hellos. "He's absolutely stunning." his long tail wrapped around his muscled hind legs, and he eyed his new baby boy.

Pearl allowed Onyx to stand back up after she had nuzzled his belly, making his burst into hysterics. He got quickly to his hooves and wobbled. He nickered to his mother for a another drink, but she denied him. Moving forward as he went to duck under her barrel, Pearl whickered and started to walk on towards the stream. Onyx cried out in frustration, but his nager quickly subsided as he caught sight of a strange fluttering thing in the air. It was a butterfly. Happy, he chased after it as Pearl moved towards the stream.

As the palomino neared its banks, she heard a familiar pattern of hoof beats in the distance. She wheeled around on her heels, calling Onyx to her, and scanned the tree line searching for the horse heading their way. Her ears were erect and alert upon her head, picking up every sound around her. The black colt stood by her side, as if glued, and waited. Pearl held her breath as she saw the section of trees shift and out stepped the black stud who sired her baby. A smile broke out across her pink lips. She shied up and squealed in delight, her cry carrying on the wind.

Soon, Oregon was beside her and nuzzling her mug. She nickered and whinnied her love and delight to him as she nosed and licked his cheek. She breathed in his smell, exchanging scents with him. It had been eleven months since she had seen him. Onyx was startled and move back behind his mother. She urged him forward with her nose, pushing him towards his father. He looked up at him with big blue eyes and whimpered. The black stud has nosed him and he smelled him. He smelt safe, so he nosed him back. Pearl beamed, "He is quite spectacular, much like you."

The proud black stud nudged the crevice of Pearl's neck, a soft chuckle escaping his lips. "Ahhh, he will be great. I can assure you, darling. Never will we be disappointed. HE's got a clever mind, I can tell already." He looked at the small foal, his forelock fanned out across his face and he reached out his velvety soft muzzle, and brushed it over the colt's fine head, perfect in every way.

He gently gnawed the foal's spine, giving him a small grooming, and then turned to his dazzling golden mare. "It has been a long time, my lady. I'm hoping you weren't too lonely while I was traveling." He cocked his head and flicked his tail, which cascaded down his hind legs like some extravagant waterfall.

(just one suggestion!! Please no signature lol it makes the pages twice as long)

Onyx squealed playfully as he felt his sire's hot breath on his skin. He shivered and then relaxed at the feeling of his grooming his spine. It was a good feeling and he started to lower his head and close his startling blue eyes. It wasn't long before he was half asleep and sank to his knees. He rolled onto his side and sprawled out, sending his legs in all different directions before nuzzling his head into the lush grass and drifting off. The sun was warm on his coat and lulled him to sleep.

The trees swayed in the delicate breeze that swirled around the sire and dam. It lifted Pearl's white mane and teased it, moving it along her shoulders and settling it back down to fall over her thick neck like rivers of silk. She elevated her dish-shaped head to look at her mate as she replied, "It was quite a long time, but i was able to manage." She tossed her long tail and turned her head to gaze her baby asleep in the grass. A smile spread across her fuzzy mug and then faded when she resumed her conversation with Oregon. "It was scarey at times. I often got lost in the wrong lands on my way here and had a few dangerous encounters." she told him as she took a step closer and draped her head over his back.
