She swam about the undersea life,breaching about the waters and chasing the speedy dolphins for fun. Then,she noticed Daren. She quickly darted over to him,waving. "Welcome back."

"hello" Daren said cautiously, not wanting to be pulled into the water again.

She pulled up to the shore,her body arched inward as she uses her hands to hold her up. She was about his size,without standing on her tail. She bore a smile on her face,eyes burning with passion into his. She curled the tip of her tail toward her body,scales glistening and water dripping off her bare back.

Daren cocked his eyebrow at her expression, but then walked over to her. "let's go swimming". he said as he lowered himself into the water and dove under. He swam fast, hoping she would follow.

She nodded,watching him speed off in the water. She silently followed at his side,smiling to him. Dolphins echoed their soft tunes underwater,her eyes flicking toward them.

Daren slowed as the mermaid came to his side. He looked at her while treading water under water. Her perfect hair waved with the current and her skin shimmered in the sun filtered by the water. He was so entranced by her beauty. He continued to look at her in awe.

She tilted her head at him,finding his trail. She blushed deeply,rubbing her arms while swimming. Was she that attractive? She twirled in the water,swimming on her back.

Daren swam up to the surface for a breath of air. He then treaded water above the surface, catching his breath. He waited for her to join him at the surface.

She swam up toward the surface,breaking it quickly. She jerks her head back,water trailing with her swinging hair.

I treaded water, my skin glistening in the sun and my wet hair dripping as I look deep into the mermaids eyes. Then I kiss her.

(going to bed. gnight)

My eyes widened,staring at him. They softly closed,my arms wrapping around him as my lips pressed harder against his.

I kiss her back, but then pull away for a breath and coming to my senses. I look at the shimmering water and keep treading water in front of her, not saying a word.

She was frozen,senses flowing back to her. She saved herself for a mermaid,a true man that knew her passion. But.. This human. He was mythical,mysterious,and.. Cute. She smiled,her head tilting quizzically.

"You know, I hate to be so straight forward, but you are so hot." I say, giving her a bit of a smirk. Then I begin to swim to shore. "but I should really be going"

She blushed dearly,her head barely above the water. She waves shyly,her hand shaking. She sinks underwater,melting.

I climb on shore, grabbing my towel and I wipe myself down. I turn to look at the mermaid, but I see nothing. I walk home in deep thought about this mermaid.

She peeped back up,looking around. She let out a faint squeal,darting away into the deep waters. She thumped her tail against the sand,creating a circle of clouds. She wondered where he lived.

The next day I head down to beach, as I had every day. But this time, I decide to take a different route. I lower myself into the water from the rocks around the bend. I then slowly swim underwater towards where I had last seen the mermaid.
