This is not a dream.

The words rang in Wings' ears as the fea lifted her head. Her black eyes were fuzzy with sleep, her fur ruffled with bits of leaves and twigs twisted into her fur. Her nightmare repeated itself in her mind and she shivered with fear. The large wolf with the blood-red eyes as it stared at her, huffing hard. She shook herself repeatedly, trying to rid herself of the nightmare. She stood, tail lifted slightly. With a sigh the wolf decided to go hunt. She grit her teeth. Below her ears were horns. Not just any horns, but they were sharp and grey, striped with white and dark grey. She was an outcast, exiled from her pack just two days ago. Her horns were a weapon. They could impale through skin and flesh, ripping through it as if mud. Not just that but they shone brightly in the sunlight and gleamed, normally preventing her from hunting. Her bones showed through her thin and ragged pelt, sharp and gaunt. She was so hungry... hopefully there was a way to hunt without glowing like a ball of fire.
