Never read the book 'Good Dog' before, but I can attempt to give this rp a whirl. I can play the role of concerned friend if that's all right with you.


Name: Aoi {Meaning blue in Japanese }

Gender: Brute

Age: 6 years of age

Job: Former military dog retired after an injury left him sidelined for almost 6 months. Formally retired , and is now enjoying a more easy-going life style at the local stable where he guards livestock from potential intruders.

Breed: Mudi - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mudi {Blue merle coat color - black base coat color with greyish-blue patches creating a merle pattern.}

Personality: Aoi is a fairly stable dog in terms of temperament, he can be very easy going as shown when baby chicks use him as a local jungle gym. Sensible, Loyal towards his closes comrades, brutally honest at times. Won't hesitate to speak out his mind should Aoi find any reason to be displeased over unreasonable actions. Beneath his versatile and seemingly stable temperament, he hides a deep insecurity involving an almost inhuman fear of seeing those closes to him die. One could say he acts more like a worried parent, then a friend.

Plot: Aoi's history started in a Christmas basket {More so as a wee little pup sporting a white ribbon around his neck as a home coming present for the oldest son } where he was destined to become a proficient military dog till an accident years later disabled his owner permanently. Due to the severity of Aoi's own injuries, the soldier couldn't bare to see his loyal canine suffer a life of inactivity - so he opted to retire him out of the military and into a local stable not far from the city. There Aoi recovered full use of his front legs, along the way to recovery he met several other dogs and has befriended them.
