I straightened up some as I looked to her

I looked to them and went over "Mucky little girl" I laughed wiping blood from the corner of her mouth "Atleast have some manners" I said laughing not really minding what he was doing as long as LIlly stayed safe and it would be good for ehr anyway.

"I'm sorry ma'am." I said walking away embarrassed

"Hey, I'm not that old either you can just call me Ren" I said "and I was refeering to my daughter, she creates such a mess when she eats, but can I ask you a favor I would do it myself but it's impossible for me." I said

I stopped and walked back,"How it impossible?" I asked,"Don't you like vampires? Jack was and now Lilly is from his genes." I said looking into her eyes

"No I mean I can't teach her certain things that were important I don't hate vampires like my father at all... I think their closer to humans than most think. But can you teach her to hunt for herself, I don't have the ability to do that and I have Aki to look after... it would be better if another vampire taught her since they'd know what they're doing"

I nodded. I soon took Lilly hunting for humans as I enjoyed hunting with other vampires from time to time. Me and Lilly had fun as we hunted and soon I brought her home in my arms since she had fallen asleep. I put her in her bed and covered her up with her blankets,"Sleep well my brother's daughter Lilly." I said leaving a light kiss on her forehead as I shut off the light

I smiled a little hearing them come back not able to get up since i was feeding Aki who suckled from me hungrily and laughed a little "Just like your sister and father hungry little thing" I said moving his tufted of hair back.

I walked into her room,"Lilly's asleep." I said softly and soon ducked back out of the room since I should be leaving to go back to my post

I walked over "Thank you, I think there is a spare room in the house somewhere, you can use that room sicne I'm sure it's more comfortable than sitting in a tree" I said to him.

"It's all right, I'll live with staying in a tree." I said nodding since I was very tired as it was almost dawn. I again put the black shield around myself and soon fell asleep

I sighed a little and sat back down "He'll forget to put that sheild up on day and brun2 I said as Aki suckled before drifting off adjusting my top quickly and put him back into his crib and checked on Lilly smiling pulling the blanket over her a little mroe drawing the curtains closed in both rooms before I went to sleep myself

I felt something coming toward my shield. I transported myself into a spare room and quickly shut the blinds but ended up burning my arms as I did it. I hissed loudly out in pain.

I jerked hearing a hiss of pain and went to where he was "You ok?" I asked seeing his burnt arms and put a wet flanal over them to cool down the burns and hopefully reduce the pain a little.

[Death Rules]

"Yes I am." I said nodding as I looked around the room exhausted still as I soon laid down on the bed

I made sure the curtains were closed properly and blocked out the sunlight "You look exhsuted sleep and no you don't get to argue" I said and went back to my room closing the door and fell asleep.

I slept until the sun drooped behind the mountains. "Lilly time to go hunt." I yelled to her from in the living room knowing she'd hear me but shrugged

Lilly jumped up awake and went downstairs ready to hunt and was enjoying it as well "ready Uncle Nate" she said smiling.
I woke up from Aki crying and went to care for him before kissing Lilly's head before she went downstairs

I gently pushed her out the door and down the stairs and soon taught her what it took to be a vampire

Lilly listened intently to what she was taught each time whiel I cared for both her and Aki when she came back telling her stories and playing with her.

I soon left them seeing that Lilly could easily hunt for herself now. I traveled on up north where it was more cold and less sun showed since I liked it dark all the time

After Lilly left I just looked afeter Aki and his sister taught him to hunt. I sighed a little and rested on the roof one night and my moonlight wings fell around me soemthing not human inside me was unlokcing and freezing me in time.

I saw her from a distance missing her secretly

I opened my eyes and looked ot the moon and stood up ontop of the tall building streatching my temperary wings and let myself fall and flapped them as I almsot hit the ground pushing myself back into the air infront of the moon and looked towards the world it was in ruin all apart from that one space Jck had once dwelled. I had already accepted his death now and let myself fall back again before i landed in a crouch and folded them. Aki was out with lilly being taught and I remained owndering in shadows on my own careful of other dreatures of the night though.

I smiled and soon put my arms around her waist before kissing her gently
