I nodded a little and looked to the bed bord "Hey Merlin" I said the small white falcon giving a bow of his head as I pulled on a falconary glove and he handed me a rabbit he had found and I smiled kissing the top ofthe small white falcons head. He chirps and I gave him some "Moon want some?" I asked
Merlin shook his head a little "How have you been Ren, holding up alright I sense you have company these days" "Yeah, Moon and Jack" I said simply "hmm, might need to bring back bigger prey" "No it's fine Jack doesn't each much anyway but can you bring back two next tiem one preferable still warm?" "Of course Ren, I will do glady. I found a nice little patch not effected and it's in my territory so no others can invade" he said chirping slightly as I rubbed my finger over his feathered small chest.

[Death Rules]

I growled when I smelt the falcon,"Who's this?" i asked as I growled showing my fangs

"Merlin, my falcon, my guardian spirit" I said. In times long ago humans dwelled wiht spirits never seeing or touching them but my family was different able to see, touch and talk to them with ease. I stroekd the soft snow white feathers speckled with little bits of black.
They were each born with a different spirit to guard them their strength would depend and grow with them if they tried. The swift folacon of snow was her spirit a strong one for she had trained for so long now and learned.

"Do not question such things, I merly wish to protect this girl the one who was born to the broken world from harm" he said

[Death Rules]

I stepped forward and leaned my face in front of his,"I am more then capable protecting her bird." I said showing my fangs as they glistened in the light so sharp that they could go threw steel

The small bird gave a threatening screech "It's my duty as her freind and her companion, Yours is no different vampire..." he screeched knowing full well that I could see it and just let them both speak looking to Moon as they did just seeing how she'd react.
"I maybe small but strength is not the only thing needed to protect"

[Death Rules]

I began to laugh,"In this world its always about strength." I said getting mad as I balled my hands into fists as I was just about to snap and kill the bird as I snarled,"You are useless, I can not die unlike some." I said as my eyes turned even more red pissed as hell

I moved back a little the little falcon screeching angrily. "That hell hound of yours is just as strong, care to try killing me I'm a guardain spirit I cannot be killed I can only leave once I am sure Ren is in good hands and you have not proven that yet" he said. I shook my head and just let the two of them talk knowing best not to get involved. Rarely did Merlin show himself unless he thought someone had a chance.
"What do you know about Ren anyway?" he asked. I had hidden one big secret from him not sure whether to trust anyone with it.

(Guess what she has a pair of wings but they are moonlight wings so only appear at night)

[Death Rules]

I threw up my arms,"Fine I'll leave if you think I can't take care of her!" I shouted at him and vanished before he could talk to me again. I sat four hundred miles away on a building as I tried to calm myself down but knew that I wasn't going back. I put something up around me so no one could vanish and come to me without me sensing them. I left Moon with Ren and that stupid ass bird that thinks I'm not capable at protecting the girl that I love. Fuck him I can do anything I wanted and what I was best at was protecting others

I gave a light sigh "Told you not to push him too far now go say sorry" I said sternly. I lay on the bed and asked Moon to come beside me so it was warm.
Merlin landed nearby him "Do not run, listen I am only concerned for her I understand that but if you love her and want to protect her then don't leave her over her spirit being worried, I was once close to her many years ago when she was young isn't it my duty to be concerned for her when her family is dead... Do you not know she has lived on her own sicne she was five? I had to teach her everything so she's like my daughter, don't tell em you wouldn't act the same? But I'm sorry... Ren doesn't want you to leave so I will abide by her descision but listen to your spirit he is a great hell hound one fearsed and reflects on you strongly it's not that I doubt you can't but someone said the exact same thing before and she almost died. Do as you wish but listen to your heart before hand no matter how black it is" He waited for a response.

I curled into Moon's warm fur under the blankets feeling cold and not very well suddenly I jsut shivered.

I was in the mood that I could just kill anything right about now, so I picked him up and threw him away from him making unable to go near me,"No!" I screamed at him as blood red tears flowed down my face,"You think I'm not capable with protecting her! I have been in this world for centuries!" I said angry and just left making sure he couldn't find me as I was upset. So I went hunting. I saw a female and just walked up to her ignoring the hunt as I just took her in my arms and drank her dry since I was starving and plus I needed to hurt something so I hit the wall time after time as my knuckles bled and the tears kept coming, I kept hitting the wall as it soon collapsed with the brute force of the blows that I forced onto it. I didn't eat for days at a time just sitting in another part of the country sitting in a corner and feeling the stupid sun that I didn't like, I looked more dead then alive as I was so pale and skinny even though I relied on warm blood for nourishment. I made Moon stay with Ren and she didn't like being without me since I could get hurt and when I did she was always the one to save my sorry vampire ass as I could be reckless when mad. I looked to the moon as my once crisp blue eyes were dull not having much life in them.

After a few days Merlin returned and I got angry for the first time in a while I went up to the roof nad looked to the sky "A full moon, perfect" I whispered and quickly jumped down streatching a pair of moon colours wings and went to find him traveiling through places fast with a swift and agile ability I soon found him and looked ot his dull eyes and nuzzeled him kissing him genlty "Jack, you haven't been eating, I'm sorry I didn't think he would go so far when he said he wanted to talk to you" I said my moonlight coloured feathers showing a little and i hugged him not letting him go upset to him like this "Are you hungry? Do you want a drink?" keeping my voice soft as I spoke to him.

Merlin perched himself "Moon I'm sorry, but... I'm just worried that's all she is hurt so much she'll break at any moment if she's hurt once mroe when someone says they can protect her, I'm truely sorry can you tell him that? but can you also make sure they both stay safe until I make ammends with them?"

[Death Rules]

I just growled when I smelt her blood singing to me but took none as I wasn't hungry yet my stomach clenched and I winced as my throat was so dry,"Leave, before I do hurt you." I said getting up as I put her far from me as I walked away into the night with red eyes not wanting to hurt her as after what her stupid protector did I wasn't going back. Not even for the most blood ever as I'd rather starve as I was doing now. It seemed like the night swallowed me whole as I disappeared. I growled when I saw a couple walking by holding hands and laughing,"Stupid humans, love just kills a person." I said as I walked with my hands in my pockets of my jacket as I kept my head down and covered as I didn't want people seeing my blood streaked cheeks more or less my red eyes.

"You go find him yourself as this is all you're fault falcon." I said as I walked away from him trotting away trying to search for my master and whined with my tail between my legs as I couldn't find him any where.

I jerked when he walked away from me and just sat in the corner her had sat in and wrapped my moon wings around me as they faded with the sun not knowing what to do feeling broken inside. Hugging my knees to my chest crystal clear tears fell and I shook my head burying it in my lap.

I grimanced and I saw Ren upset and found him I looked to him and gulped stopping him and making him lsiten "I'm truely sorry for what I have said, but your tearing yourself, your spirit and the person you love apart... I'm truely sorry I didn't think you would take it this personal and I went overboard, I accept that you want to protect her so After what I have seen, I think that even without your strength you would still do you best and understand that you are old but, I'm part of her family so please forgive me Jack" I said in a gently voice less threatening and more of one who had known he'd done wrong.

[Death Rules]

I looked up at him growling,"I suggest you get away from me before I rip you to shreds." I said meaning it as it was his fault that this happened. I snapped my teeth at his throat not even an inch from him as my fangs dripped with saliva. I kept walking heading for Europe as my new home. I got there in no time as I settle down in an abandoned tunnel under the heart of the city and didn't come out of it unless I wanted fresh air or out of the prison that I was trapped in so to speak. I had lost my heart a long time ago when I was turned and it wasn't natural for The Creature Of The Night to feel anything like love as it was a poison emotion.

After several days of searching the city I went back upset and weak not wanting to do much at all. I snapped at Merlin who soon vanished and I was lonley once more just like the begining.
As time passed I streatched my moonlight wings and just flew as far as iI could only taking what I needed. Merlin flew beside me making my wings last longer. I walked around the new ruins just coming to find something new... I didn't make a sound having spotted him one night as he came out but didn't speak a word and just went to look for somewhere I could rest for the night curling up in the ruins of na old house I couldn't find much bu settled on the couch that still remained it was better than nothing. Merlin kept guard but after abit did his best to make ammends with Jack deciding that if nothing happened then he'd make himself vanish he had cause his family pain and that was not his job.

[Death Rules]

I soon found a girl giving into the thirst as I put my fangs into her neck. I felt everything she felt the fear of dying, the love for another, and the love of her child. I lurched backwards like I was zapped with something since I no longer liked feeling the emotion love with others that wasn't with My Ren. I looked to the highest point that the sun came in Italy and decided I'd end my existence for good as I just ruined peoples lives by killing them or turning them. I soon walked into the sunlight as I closed my eyes half naked as I let the sun burn my skin, I felt like my blood was on fire as it went throughout my veins. "At peace." I quietly said as I opened my arms wide open letting the sun do it's job.

I had walked out and saw him instictively I pulled him into the shadows "You idiot, what are you going to gain by killing yourself, trust me I've been down that road already" I snapped at him pericing mismatched eyes looking sternly to him I drew him into theshade and pulled a cloak over him to stop the sun from hitting him.

[Death Rules]

I growled as I drew my face from her sight. I walked away from her,"Don't stop me." I said sternly as I walked back out dropping the thing from my shoulders as I walked feeling the sun burn my flesh. I soon entered the tunnel closing the gate making sure nothing could get to me.

"You can't make me" I said back to him sternyl and picked up the cloak and pulled it around me once more and just sighed a little and sat wiating against the tunnel entrance "Do you really hate me that much?" I whined. "I-I don't know how to apologise or make ammends for what I've done"

[Death Rules]

I heard her,"You didn't do anything." I said softly as I put my hand on her wrist as I drew her into the tunnel with me as i drew her close to my chest hugging her to me as I kissed her cheeks

I jerked a little and looked up to him as he drew me into the darkness of the tunnel and letting my eyes adjust I raised a hand gently tracing his features as he kissed my cheeks not sure what to say or do and just nuzzeled him udner his neck.

[Death Rules]

"I've missed My Ren." I said meaning it as I looked to her face truly missing her

"I missed you as well Jack" I said and looked to the hell hound that remained by him and smiled a little hugging Jack tightly not wanting to let go and refusing to as well having missed him so much I gave a light whine and kissed him hesitantly not sure if he'd reject the soft kiss or not.

I pulled her to my body and kissed her back roughly

a little shocked when eh kissed me so roughly I froze a little before kissing him a little more roughly as well having to rest my hands on him when he pulled me towards him.
