[Spritz]

Castien winced as a flaming wall of fire shot up in front of Kulukath, then quickly took her own energy, and sent it flying back at her. She heard Kulukath tell her what to do, but she didn't know how to do it, and awkwardly held out her hands, not sure how she was supposed to 'catch the flaming fireball of energy', and 'without it killing her'. The wall of power hit her harshly, and sent her flying backwards, a few feet off of the ground, before she skidded in the grass, lying on her stomach.
Her skin tingled from the energy that had hit her, and she flopped onto the ground, groaning in embarrasment.

[Guest]

Kulukath immediately worried when it hit her. When she groaned, he chuckled. "All right, Castien. Get up and try again." Kulukath chuckled again and put his hands on his hips, cocking an eybrow and staring at her, amusement clearly written on his face.

[Spritz]

Castien lifted her head, the faint touch of dirt smeared across her face. Shaking her head, she lifted herself to a crouch, and yanked the hair out of her eyes as the breeze persisted to blow it into her face. She reached behind her and quickly tied it behind her head, braiding it in a long braid that fell to her middle back. She did all this quickly and easilly, and stood, before frowning at Kulukath, who was obviously trying to keep in laughter.
She cheekily glared at him, her eyes glittering lightly, and shook her head. "Tell me you were any better when you first started?" She persisted, narrowing her eyes and silently daring him to say otherwise.

Kulukath stared at her, then laughed at her comment. He saw the look in her eyes, and, just to ebb her on, he said, "Why, yes, I was. Now, try again." Kulukath pulled up another shield of the flames and wind. "Start now!"

[Spritz]

"I'll dodge it next time." The elf muttered under her breath, rather put down and not feeling all to happy about this. Narrowing her dark brown eyes, she clenched her jaw together, glaring at Kulukath, and pushing away the thought's of what they had shared before, the moments their lips touched. Blinking once, she broke out of her thoughts. It was downright hard to focus, and she cursed under her breath, unladylike, and shook her head.
As she called upon the Windfyre again, the energy struck out of her palms, searing with heat and light, once again headed towards Kulukath.

Kulukath heard her thoughts, but he didn't mean to. He shook his head and got away from her mind. He paid attention to her power, which was ostensibly stronger, and he grimaced. For a second, he almost couldn't catch it all. Kulukath managed to gather it all up and shouted at Castien beforehand, "Get ready, Castien!" He shouted, throwing the huge ball of energy back at her.

[Spritz]

Like the last time, she grimaced as the blinding enery rocketed towards Kulukath, and he just managed to catch it with his own. She made a mental note to go a bit lighter next time, so she wouldn't end up hurting him. Then, she realized she couldn't just catch it with her own hands. As the power came flying back towards her, she imedietly put up a wall of the same thing, and as it hit, she was thrown backwards a little bit, but not bad at all. The wall consumed the burning magic, and returned it back into Castien.

Kulukath allowed his defenses to go down, and he 'whooped.' "Aha! You did it!" Kulukath smiled. "Now you know how to control it. You'll be even more powerful than me in no time." Kulukath walked briskly over to her, picking her up by the waist and twirling her around. "And if Shadowhaph isn't dead, you'll be able to kick his hide so badly he'll be burned beyond what hell has already given him." Kulukath chuckled and put him down.

[Spritz]

Castien's face was somewhat pale, and she swallowed once, before she heard Kulukath whoop, and stride over to her. He picked her up and spun her around, and she fell into his chest as he set her down, before stepping back lightly, her face a bit pink. As he commented on her skills, she looked away, then raised her head lightly to watch his deep eyes. "I'll kill him just for you... But you're going to deliver the first and last blow."

[Guest]

Kulukath smiled at her gently, hugging her close to him. "Thank you, Castien." He couldn't think of anything else to say. He lifted her face with his finger and kissed her gently before drawing away. "You look exhausted. I think it'd be best if you rest now. Come on, we should find somewhere more secure to rest." He took her hand tenderly before leading her away.

[Spritz]

Secure!?
Nowhere would ever be secure to her again, not unless every single freaking demon was dead, and in hell.... Realizing that was rather redundant, she shook her head and smiled as he kissed her very softly, letting him take her hand and lead her away from the circle. Walking side by side with him, her fingers intertwined with his, and she really wondered where all this emotion had suddenly come from.
"There is nothing to thank me for."

Kulukath shrugged. "As far as you can see." He commented casually before moving onward, allowing her slender fingers to intertwine with his own. He smiled inwardly as he thought of where they would stay the night, though he already had an idea in mind.

[Spritz]

Castien just shook her head. She was way to tired to object, and leaned slightly against him, her eyes threatening to close. Looking up at his face, she took in the shape of his jaw, his straight nose, and eyes that no longer seemed to hold the glint of anger in them, that she had been so used to seeing.
"Where are we going?"

[Guest]

Kulukath was aware of her gaze upon him, but he pretended not to. He shrugged lightly and commented, "Somewhere special. Somewhere Shadowhaph doesn't even know where it is. The safest place, i suppose, is Sacred Blood Falls, but yet again, that's too obvious. But we're going to the next best place." Kulukath turned and winked at her mischeviously.

[Spritz]

Castien was tired and confused, and no longer really cared where they were going. She nodded, listening to him, her face slightly troubled, but she fixed herself up right away. Straightening, she poked him in the side. "You going to tell me where it is?"

[Guest]

Kulukath grunted slightly when she qutie unthoughtfully poked him in the side. He looked at her, stopping for a moment. He opened his mouth in a convincing manner before saying, "Nope." He smiled deviously at her and continued walking.

[Spritz]

Castien rolled her eyes, sighing heavilly. "Fine, fine. As long as we get there soon, I'll be fine... I dont care where it is." She said simply, her hand in his. She was to tired to look around as they made progress through the woods, and it didn't really matter where they were going.

[Guest]

About fifteen minutes later, they came upon a huge waterfall that was extremely loud, and Kulukath gestured to it with a grand sweep of his arm. "Here we are. Now, there's a magically secured cave behind the waterfall. The only problem is getting in there. So, you'll have to bear with me." Kulukath let go of her hand and transformed into a water dragon, wingless and rather slimy looked, waddling awkwardly into the water where he glided gracefully. "Get on my back." Kulukath suggested, nodding his big, aqua head towards his finned back.

[Spritz]

Almost sleeping by now, Castien just nodded as he told her to get on his back, no matter how gross it looked. She did so, and found out his skin was wet and rather slimey, but held on as they slipped into the water.

Kulukath moved quickly through the water, and, reaching the waterfall, said, "Hold your breath," before submerging himself underwater and swimming quickly underneath the waterfalls' ranging water.

Castien held on to Kuluath, her bare arms and legs gripping him tightly. She was so tired, and couldn't wait to be somewhere safe, somewhere that only she and Kulukath knew about. She knew he would protect her, and closed her eyes happily, but made sure to hold her breath when he said so. As they slipped under the water, her braid floated up around her head, and she rested on Kulukath's back, feeling the cool water wash over her, and sooth her slightly. Looking up, she saw the white foam of the water where the waterfull plumitted over the rocks, and smiled happilly.

Kulukath surfaced only seconds after, making sure his back came up first so Castien could get some air. He swam deftly over to the shore of the cave that was filled with a glowing, though slightly dulled, aqua aura, crystals jutting out from every spot on the wall, rather precariously. Kulukath turned back into his humanoid form, Castien being transferred into his arms during the process. He carried her over to a small bed that had already been made in the corner of the room, the only spot where the crystals did not jut out with their dagger-like tips. He'd made the bed awhile ago; it was soft fern leaves mended with magic and cushioned with cotton that grew in a field not too far from here. He stared at her, realizing how tired she must be, and how wet, as well. He was damp, as well, and he curled up behind her on the bed, pulling her closely to him, his arm around her waist, to share his body heat. He didn't mean anything perverted or trying to make an intimate moment, he was just being considerate and sharing his own warmth. It felt nice, though, and he could smell her hair from where he lay. "You can rest in peace, now," he murmured into her ear quietly. "We're safe here."

[Spritz]

Castien had closed her eyes, but reopened them as they surfaced, getting low on air anyhow. Taking in a breath of the cool, fresh air, she coughed once and spit out water that had gotten into her mouth, wiping her face with her arm, which didn't help dry it at all. The cave was beautiful. As they neared the spot, her eyes widened unknowingly, and she swallowed, a small smile growing on her lips. The large sharp crystals were gorgeous, shimmering and shining from every angle. Before she knew it, Kulukath had transfered his forms, and she was lying in his arms. She felt so, so safe with him, just being there, just holding her, that she wasn't sure what had happened.
He made his way over to the small bed in the corner, and set her wet body down onto it, before lying down beside her and wrapping an arm around her waist, hugging him to her. She let her eyes close, feeling so happy, so tired. Wrapping her own arms around his body, she rested her head against his shoulder.

Kulukath smiled gently at the touch of Castien's arms, and her head that rested gently on his shoulder. He whispered in her ear gently, "It's safe now." He knew he was simply repeating himself, but he thought she should know. The more he thought about it, the more he felt safer with her. It was amazing what this feeling was doing to him. He rubbed her back gently, humming softly to himself a tune his mother had once sang to him; a tune he only vaguely remembered.

[Spritz]

She faintly heard his words, his warm breath tickling her neck slightly, and moved closer to him, wrapping her arms around him tighter, and placing her head on his chest. Her eyes were closed, hair falling down behind her back, and she nodded slightly. "I'm safe with you, Kulukath." It had seemed the right thing to say, for a drowsy, love drunk mind, and she soon drifted off to sleep, he breathing becoming deep and regular, chest rising and falling with each breath she took.
