(changing his name xD)
Athayso
Whispering the words quietly in her mind, she closed her eyes, leaning forward, and not noticing the snake that slithered silently into the water. Her eyes were focused on Athaysos, and she parted her lips slightly, holding its body gently in her hands. Its bright orange feathers were wet, and she looked at it, before speaking.
"You're name, is Athayso."

Re: U n t o l d
Kulukath slithered up to the top of the water and stared at her before saying, "Good, now take him out of the water and let him reinsssstate hissss fire." Kulukath slithered out of the water.

The elf jumped as a voice spoke near her, and she looked to her right, to where a snake was gliding gently through the water, and she narrowed her eyes. "Kulukath, -" She broke off abruptly and shook her head, looking away deliberatly. Gently taking the bird out of the water, she adjusted her top that had fallen way to low for her liking, and glared at Kulukath, daring him to say something. Striding away from him, she knelt down on the ground, once in the clearing again, and gently set the drying bird down onto the symbol.

Kulukath had noticed her shirt had fallen, and caught himself staring for a moment before he slithered up onto he land and transformed back into his humanoid form. He watched as she placed the bird on the symbol as he walked up behind her, accidentally bumping his arm on her are stomach. He stepped back immediately and stared, waiting for the bird to reignite itself and burst into flames, waiting to be called upon for battle.

Castien stiffened as she felt Kulukath brush against her, but she didn't loose her focus. Watching the pheonix intently, she saw that the bird looked like a drowned rat. Water and Pheonix's didn't mix. Stepping back, she accidentally backed into Kulukath, and shifted to the side, glancing at him once before looking back to the bird.
Suddenly, a powerful, blinding orange light erupted from it, and the birds feathers turned into blazing flames. It seemed much larger from before, and leaped into the air, unfurling its huge, powerful wings and downstroking, rising into the sky, but staying low enough to watch the pair intently.

Re: U n t o l d
Kulukath almost said a witty comment, but decided to keep his mouth shut, biting his tongue. He wasn't g oing to get her any more pissed at him than she probably already was. As soon as the bird lept into the air, he muttered, "Say bye to it. It's going to leave now, until you call upon it for battle. Hurry up, would you? It's getting late."

Castien closed her eyes, taking in a long breath. She could see the image of the the pheonix in her mind, and silently bid farewell thanking it. Opening her eyes once again, she looked to the darkening sky. The bird was gone, and the symbol was fading slightly, its glow slowly going away.

[ uhm... well....D; it's hard to explain ]
Kulukath grimaced and then turned on his heel, shoving his hands in his almost nonexistant pockets. "Let's go, Castien. Better get a fire started, and I'll start teaching you some more about magic basics." Kulukath frowned as he began to stalk away.

[I'm here if you EVER need to talk, ok? x'( ]
Castien snapped out of her trance as Kulukath spoke, jumping slightly. Her deep chocolate eyes glanced around the area, her muscles tense, and she forced herself to relax, though it was hard. Turning slowly, she chewed the inside of her cheek, her fingernails pressing into her own palms. Glancing at Kulukath, she gave him a quick smile. "Thank you Kulukath." She had a feeling he would shrug it off, or snap something rather rude back at her, but she was now to the point where she didn't care what he said anymore. Alot of it was just for spite.

Re: U n t o l d
[ thanks.. ]
Kulukath walked off until he found a good cave, kicking together a crude pile of dried leaves and twigs. With a nod towards the fire, he looked at Castien and commented casually, if a bit stiffly, "Light it."

Castien stared at Kulukath, then rolled her eyes. "How? You expect me to produce flint out of no where!? I'm sure you have some fire lighting power, right?" She sighed and looked away, crossing her arms over her slightly exposed chest. "Not to be snappy, but I really dont get how you expect me to do it."

Re: U n t o l d
Kulukath yawned, too tired now to be snappy with her. "Figure it out, Castien. I'm not the only one with fre capabilities. Have you not noticed that the word 'fyre' is in Windfyre? You can light the fire just as well as I can. You just have to figure out how. So try it now and light the fire, otherwise we'll be cold and eat raw meat for the rest of the night."

Sighing heavilly, the elf closed her eyes and drew in a breath, trying to calm herself down. Eyes still closed, she spoke softly. "So you're pretty much letting me do what you were so afraid of me doing before, eh? Using my power without it being harnessed." Opening her eyes, she sat down near the pile and stared at it intently, thinking about what her magic was, and how she would use it.

Re: U n t o l d
Kulukath shot her a glance telling her plainly not to try his patience. Kulukath stalked off. "It's not that, you're just so incompotent that you need to learn how to use it. How can you harness something that you cannot use? Plus, it's only fire." Kulukath chuckled and leaned against a tree, closing his eyes.

Re: U n t o l d
Castien shut up. She didn't want to get into another fight with Kulukath. Last time that had happened, it hadn't been good at all. And now, she just shook her head, plainly tired and just wanting to be left alone. Her face was smeared slightly with ash from the fight, and she closed her eyes.
Imagining the warmth of a fire, imagining its looks, imagining the sparks, she tried to picture exactly what it would look, and feel like. Suddenly, actual warmth on her skin made her eyes shoot open, and she stared as she saw what was giving the warmth. A small dancing fire, like the one she had seen in her own mind, was crackling over the dried leaves in the pile. "Kulukath!"

Re: U n t o l d
Kulukath's image disappeared completely, just as mist. His false form was no longer there, as he flitted as a sparrow onto her shoulder. He pecked her cheek for a moment before curling himself up on her shoulder, ruffling his feathers contentedly. He loved how they had this love-hate relationship, constantly changing from enjoying each other to wanting to kill each other.

Castien turned slightly, but she couldn't see Kulukath anywhere. Something stirred overhead, and she glanced up warrily, before a small plain sparrow landed on her shoulder, pecking her cheek slightly. Smiling, she stroked a finger over its small head, having no idea that it was Kulukath. Though she knew he was around here somewhere, she figured he would never submit himself into turning into a sparrow. A crow or eagle, maybe. Sighing, she leaned back against a tree, closing her eyes. As the sparrow made itself more comfortable on her shoulder, she tilted her head to one side, and though about everything that had happened.

Re: U n t o l d
Kulukath figured out pretty quick that she didn't know it was him. He didn't mind, though. At least she wouldn't scrutinize him now. He chirped happily when her finger ran over his head and he tucked his beak away under one wing, glad of the warmth of the fire. He knew he could say somethin to her, but decided not to. Her shoulder was actually quite comfortable, and he didn't want to lose it. Chirping once more, he slowly fell asleep, the warmth of the fire and the warmth of her body.

Re: U n t o l d
The small, quiet chirp of the sparrow made the elf smile. She missed the animals, and she missed having peace and quiet. Wondering where her own stallion was, her eyes closed softly. She knew he was fine, as he wasn't a tame beast, and slowly, quietly drifted off to sleep. The fire crackled softly, casting its orange light on her face, illuminating her features as she sank into unconciousness.

Re: U n t o l d
Kulukath, the next morning, awoke to find he'd transformed back into his humanoid form overnight, his arm currently draped over Castien's bare waist. As soon as he realized how he had slept beside her almost all night. Repulsed, Kulukath nearly jumped right out of his skin getting away from her. Kulukath grimaced and brushed himself off, shaking off the feeling of her warm form pressed perfectly against his. He relit the fire and began to gather more timber.

The almost unconcious shifting of something beside her made Castien stir slightly, her eyes still closed despite the warm morning sun that was shining through the trees. Curled into a rather interesting position, she made herself open her eyes, blearily looking around and lifting her head, blinking a few times to clear her vision. Kulukath was bending down over the fire, and her hand went up to her shoulder. The sparrow was gone, and she inwardly sighed, having enjoyed the company a friend for a short time.
"Good morning."

Re: U n t o l d
Grimacing, Kulukath nodded and said, "Morning, sleepy head." Kulukath couldn't look at her. He kept remembering her slender form against his, especially since she was wearing close to nothing. He noticed with a spark of interest that her makeshift shirt had slipped down a bit farther. "I'm going to go hunt." Kulukath turned into a snow leopard and bounded off unexpectedly.

Frowning at his grimace, she pushed herself to her feet, watching him with warry eyes. He quicky stated that he was going to go hunt, and she nodded, before he changed forms and quickly scampered into the trees. She watched him leave with her keen eyes, and shook her head, sighing heavilly. Just then, she glanced downwards, appalled that her own makeshift clothing had made its way lower down her chest, and deliberatly yanked it into position, wondering if Kulukath had made it so small for a reason.

Re: U n t o l d
Kulukath found it easy to hunt down a mountain goat and kill it quickly. He dragged it back to camp within a half and hour. Kulukath dropped it by her feet before turning back into his humanoid form. He couldn't look at her. At all. Without blushing seriously. "I'm going to make you better clothing. You go ahead and cook." Kulukath moved out and got an armful of banana leaves and began making a dress with one sleeve that would go down to her knees.

Castien couldn't help but roll her eyes, and shook her head as she knelt down, running a hand through the mountain goats long fur. She would have to dry it, then loosten it up a bit. It would be right warm in the wintertime, and could make a blanket, or clothing of some sort. Flipping her skinning knife in her palm, she set to work on the carcass. WIthin twenty minutes, the animal was skinned and spitted, over the fire and well on its way to roasting.
