"Elekrey, return!" Kulukath snapped at Phsyke, who immediately vanished from Castien's body and reapparated, swirling around Kulukath's arm. Kulukath bit his lip. Hopefully now that Castien could fight, she'd be able to tame her elekrey. Maybe she'd even get through the naming ceremony for it today before sundown. It would be a very successful day, if that came to be. The faster this was over, the sooner Kulukath got to leave. But for a split second, he felt a fondness for her and her vulnerability that was deep inside her that she kept locked away from the rest of the world. She was a woman, after all, and she'd been rejected all her life, never knowing love. Kulukath, at least, had lasted a good year with the love of his parents. He knew what it was like, though it was vague. But since then he'd locked up his heart and became the heartless killer he was today.

[Spritz]

Over the sound of wind passing over feathers, Castien faintly heard Kulukath's voice over the wind, and she whirled around. For some odd reason, this flight thing was coming rather quickly and easilly to her, and she felt something rising in her. Within a second, a large fire ball erupted from her, flying straight towards the Pheonix.

Kulukath whooped loudly when a ball of flames erupted from her but he quickly regained his composure and regular angry-looking defensive mode. "All right! Keep going. Beat that damn thing down to the ground until it submits." He shrugged. "That could take all night, for all I know. Need extra energy just ask Phsyke. Not saying he'll always help, though." Kulukath smirked, obviously enjoying himself.

"Uhh-" Castien called out, sounding a bit warry. She had never heard him yell like that before, and especially for her, cheering her on. The flaming fireball flew towards the pheonex at lightning speed, singing its tail feathers as it screamed, and pushed itself out of the way, falling a few feet in the sky. Taking advantage of the birds disadvantage, Castien shot over to it, head butting it hard in the stomach, and again, making it fall a few feet.

Kulukath gritted his teeth in anxiety. Castien was gaining the upper hand, but he couldn't tell her exactly how to beat the pheonix elekrey. Kulukath's elekrey hissed and began to swirl around the battle, enjoying himself in the odd feeling of the blue wisps of wind that were floating around the Windfyre symbol. Phsyke hissed at the pheonix as it almost crashed into him. Kulukath clenched his fists but didn't call Phsyke back. It appeared Phsyke was in such a mood to help. So if he wanted to, he could. Kulukath wouldn't stop him.

[Spritz]

"Now what!?" Castien called, her sharp orange eyes darting from the phoenix, to Kulukath, who was standing down below her. The pheonix saw her attention falter, and took the oportunity to throw a large flaming fireball at her, which made her set her jaw in pain as she plummeted out of the way. Pumping her huge wings powerfully, she streaked back up into the sky, and readied herself for another attack.

"Fight it, stupid!" Kulukath snapped, calling Phsyke back to him, whispering some instructions to him. Hissing, Phsyke shot upwards and tackled the elekrey pheonix, wrapping himself around one of its wings, flicking its tail back and forth angrily. "Now, attack it, Castien! NOW!"

[Spritz]

"You dont- know the meaning- of fighting with a- pheonix!" Castien muttered between gasps, before she watched the snake curl its way around the pheonix. Hearing Kulukath cry out, she did as told and attacked the bird with everything she had. Dropping like a stone onto its body, she tore at it with her claws, before shooting backwards, her wings catching afire, and speeding towards it again.

Phsyke was in Castien's firing range, and did the almost unexpectable by retracting and lunging at Castien, only in his self defense. Phsyke, being an elekrey, had no friend nor foe. His only ally was Kulukath. Hissing, Phsyke snapped his jaw in front of Castien's mouth before evaporating and reapparating in front of Kulukath. "Kick its ass already, Castien!" Kulukath yelled.

[Spritz]

"That's what I'm going for!" She shouted, reeling backwards as the snake lunged at her. The pheonix flapped his wings, trying to regain its balance, and Castien went in for an attack, blowing the poor creature back with a harsh fireball, before attacking it with everything she had. In a flurry of brilliant orange feathers, the two magestic birds plummeted downwards, before Castien tackled the bird, landing on the ground. After sorting out who was who, it was clear what had happened, as it was Castien was standing over the pheonix, who was lying on the ground in a submissive gesture.

Kulukath whooped once more when she won. Phsyke hissed and evaporated as soon as Kulukath stepped out of his symbol's circle as he walked over to Castien and her new elekrey. "Good job, good job," Kulukath muttered before placing a hand on her firey winged shoulder and lending her some energy to turn back into her humanoid form. To claim her elekrey officialy and to make the naming ceremony officially. Kulukath knew she'd not have clothes, but he could easily make something out of the huge banana-leaves that were around the place in this wretched forest.

[Spritz]

Castien felt a hand on her wing, and ruffled her feathers slightly, before flapping in protest as she saw her wing start to turn into an arm. Realizing her prediciment at the time, and what Kulukath had said before, she gave him a deadly glare, narrowing her eyes, before streaking out of the circle and hiding behind a bush, just as she changed.
Poking her head up, she sighed heavilly, clutching her arms around her bare body, that she hoped was all the way hidden. "Great, now I'm stuck here!"

Kulukath averted his trained eyes when he turned back into her human form. Kulukath moved off and gathered a few bananas leaves, using some magic to hewn them together, turning them into a strapless top and a slightly ragged skirt, smoothing them out, also with magic. He walked over to her and handed Castien her new clothes. "Hurry up before that pheonix of yours decides it wants to fight again."

[Spritz]

Castien, rather hautilly grabbed the clothing from him, and slipped it onto her body. She supposed it was the best that could be done, but the skirt was short, and she felt like the strapless top didn't cover enough, used to wearing armor and slacks.
Crawling out from behind the bush, she tugged the skirt down, rolling her eyes and setting her jaw. Muttering something about how ignorent everybody was, she looked to Kulukath. "What now?"

Kulukath waited for her to dress herself, arms crossed, and his foot tapping restlessly. When she appeared from behind the bush, he could see she was very displeased with the makeshift clothes. Just to piss her off a bit more, he said, "Very lovely attire, there, Castien. Quite appealing." Kulukath winked at her in a rather perverted fashion before walking over to the elekrey and gesturing towards it, "Pick it up."

[Spritz]

Ignoring Kulukath's rather crude comment, she set her jaw and made her way over to the pheonix, who had picked himself off of the ground and was waiting for her. Her bare feet stepped lightly on the ground, and she knelt downwards, gently picking up the bird in her arms, who didn't seem to mind all that much.

This time, Kulukath had to try very hard not to stare down her shirt as she bent down, and to keep himself from doing so, he turned his gaze up to the sky until she'd stood up. It was just starting to get to dusk, and he turned once to face her. "Time to go. Naming ceremony. Start thinking of names to use. You won't get a second chance of naming."

[Spritz]

Searching her memory for something that would be suitable for such a creature, she felt a slight shifting of the bird, and looked down, seeing the Pheoix looking at her intently with its bright orange eyes. She felt, like in that stare, it was seeing into her very soul, and couldn't tear her eyes away.
"Amida." Her words were soft and quiet, and she felt as if she hadn't spoken at all. That was the name of this bird, she was sure of it. "His name is Amida." She said firmly, glancing up at Kulukath.

Kulukath ignored her and continued onward until they reached a serene waterfall that was, surprisingly, silent. "Extinguish his fire, then baptize him and give him his official name." Kulukath remained silent.

[ oh mi GOB fail ]

[Spritz]

What? Extinguish his fire!?
Castien looked surprised, and shook her head. "You're sure that's what supposed to happen?" She whispered quietly, glancing from him, to the large bird in her arms. Despite his size, he was suprisingly light. The pheonix cocked his head to one side, staring intently into her eyes.

It is right my dear Castien. Despite what you think of him, he isn't going to tell you something that isn't true. He knows what he is doing.

Kulukath grimaced and rolled his eyes, "Yes, you're supposed to extinguish his fire. Now go ahead and do it, you really don't have all day." Kulukath yawned and leaned against the tree, making sure not to touch the sacred water. "Now hurry up!" Kulukath motioned impatiently towards the waters.

[Spritz]

Shaking her head, she stiffly made her way towards the calm pool, setting the pheonix gently down in the water. She wished that she didn't have Kulukath staring behind her, as this whole ritual would have been ten times more soulful and calm if it wasn't for him. She gently pushed the bird under the water, hoping that this was what she was supposed to do, and soon, pulled it back up. The bird, of course was drenched, and her hands glittered slightly with the water that had washed over them...

Kulukath looked away and crossed his legs. He listened to the splashing of water before saying. "Now, name him. Give him his name that'll be is name for the rest of his life." Kulukath closed his eyes and transformed into a watersnake, slithering up behind her and into the water, diving in silently.
