Re: U n t o l d
[ Yeah, if you want, but who would play Shadowhaph? ]
Kulukath growled angrily, his anger continually fueling his energy level as he soared around, destroying trees with a swipe of his tail and setting fire to small clumps of forest trees, the fire leaping from tree to tree until the entire forest around him was sizzling and crackling with the unbearable heat of dragonfyre. Kulukath knew this was a very hellish temperature, and Shadowhaph was bound to come looking for him with all this rucus, but Kulukath was ready and willing. With the anger boiled up inside of him from that completely insolent Elven woman, he felt like he could slay a million demons with one stroke of his mighty claws. He roared with anger before continueing to desemate the world around him, tearing into the rockface of a mountain and causing multiple landslides, his anger, instead of ebbing away, growing stronger and stronger. His dragon eyes dilated until only the red irises were visible, and he swooped lower and down into the fiery mess he'd created, his thick scales protecting him from the harsh temperatures and flickering flames. Kulukath was hoping Shadowhaph would show up; he was ready to kill that bastard. And maybe that Castien-elf, as well.

(We both could. Or, I could if you wanted. We could both control him.)
Castian wasn't paying any attention to where she was going, her horse galloping down the mountain side, throwing loose rocks and skidding down the narrow path. Her hands gripped feircly onto his mane, and her cheeks were streaked with tears. She no longer cared what happened to Kulukath, that demon could come and kill him, and she wouldn't care!
Something, a slight change, a tiny sound made her break out of her wild train wrecked throughts, and snap to attention, stiffening on her horses back, which made him slow. They were lower down, and glancing up and behind her, she could see the ledge far up where she had met Kulukath again. Shaking her head angrily, she turned back around, her face paling at the sight of what stood in the path. The horse squeeled in fright, bucking outwards and almost dislodging the elf, spinning on his heels and away from the thing, but he skidded to a halt as another blocked his path. The animal quivered in fear, eyes wild and darting this way and that, muscles tense, tossing his head and prancing from side to side, spinning back but finding that he was trapped. Castian didn't know what these things were, but something about the original figure made her shiver in horrer. It was him.
"Hello Castien."

Re: U n t o l d
[ If you wouldn't playing Shadowhaph...? ]
Kulukath's wings broke through the trees and he felt multiple, jagged splinters catch in his one real wing, along with his artificial wing. The fiery pit of destruction he'd made was now starting to get to him, peeling off the skin on his soft dragon underbelly and making his eyes water. The twisting horns atop his head were being used to swing his head against trees to knock them down before he hit them with his gigantic wings. He came to a halt, however, right in the middle of a particularly large fire, and sniffed the air.
Along with the smoldering trees and ash, he smelled somebody he knew. Kulukath roared loudly and began clawing away at the trees angrily, throwing the large trees (trunk, roots, and all) towards where the smell was eminating from. I reaked of demons. And Shadowhaph.

Castien swallowed, stiff and unmoving. Her lips were parted slightly, her eyes rather wide and her face pale. As soon as she moved her hand to her sword, Shadowhaph narrowed his blazing eyes, a bemused chuckle escaping his lips. Castian froze, her fingers almost touching the hilt of the broken blade.
"Really Castien? You think I came alone?" The demon entoned sweetly, his face a mask of horrid intentions. Castian didn't move. "You're surrounded my dear girl." He tutted softly, swiftly moving forward and grasping her leg with his fingers, sharp claws replacing the fingernails. They were digging into her leg, and as she tried to move, he grasped tighter, the sharp points puncturing her skin, red blood trickling downwards and onto his hand. He smiled, and licked the blood off, before giving her leg a harsh tug that made her cry out in pain, slipping off of the horses back and falling heavily to the ground. He quickly dragged out his bile blade, rusty and coated with dried blood.
"Stand, or I'll use it on you!" He said, the point pressing against her neck. She stepped forward, and he quickly made her move towards a large black stallion, with narrowed, glowing eyes. Catching her hands, he easily applied irons, making her gasp and try to move, but the point cut into her flesh. She was forced to mount the horse, before objects came raining from the sky. Kicking the horse into a dead gallop, the demon quickly moved out of the way, taking off at such a fast pace, that Castien couldn't see.
(I dont know how Shadowhaph is, but Im guessing he's bile and gross and nasty)

Re: U n t o l d
[ yeah, you portrayed him perfectly, actually xD Thanks for playing him, btw ]
Kulukath smelled Shadowhaph coming closer to his location, closer to his destructive dragonfyre. He roared angrily and zoomed towards the smell, switching his vision to heat-vision (a rather complicated and useful trait of dragons), searching the ground for anything living. Suddenly he spotted a moving object with a heat pattern that oddly resembled a large horse, with two people. Kulukath tried to exercise his vision further, but since he wasn't a real dragon, it didn't work. Roaring angrily, Kulukath clenched his dragon claws, flying at breakneck speed towards the horse, his anger growing larger and larger. Rather than getting tired, he felt like simply eating the horse and riders in one gulp, along with any other stupid trick demons that Shadowhaph had inevitably brought along with him. Plus Kulukath's dragonfyre wouldn't go out easily, so if Shadowhaph met a dead end, he'd have no choices but to turn around and meet another dead end or transport to his Demon Kingdom, and Kulukath knew very well how to get there. He let out another ear-piercing roar.

( Is there a reason that Shadowhaph wants her? Like, is he just getting revenge, or does he want to do what he did to Kulukaths mother?)
Castien squirmed in Shadowhaphs grip, and she cried out as his claws sunk into her skin, creating five more puncture wounds on her arm that seared in pain. She knew that she had no chance against this being, from what she had heard of demons, they were sly creatures, that were imensly strong. She knew more, but rather decided she didn't want to think about it, thier methods of torcher. A small shudder worked its way up her spine, as they raced through the trees, everything a blur. Only a few minutes passed, the steed getting faster and faster, when they reached a tall stone city, with huge spirling towers with terrific pointed iron spikes on the walls. The sight alone made her shrink back, Shadowhaph gripping tight around her waist and making her still.

Re: U n t o l d
[ he was the one who paid her to kill Kulukath, so I'm assuming it's out of revenge. You can do whatever you want though; you can make his methods of torture similar to Kulukath's mother if you WANT, but otherwise it doesn't matter much... just revenge, I guess. ]
Kulukath frowned as the heat-visioned horse disappeared momentarily, and he roared, landing and morphing into a full-fledged demon form, though he was lacking the demon powers. He set out on a brisk pace, his skin turning a charred red and his hair shortening and turning black, the horns on his head growing shorter and turning a sickly shade of black that was bloodtipped. His attire changed, as well, into the usual kilt-like covering from his waist to just above his knees in the leathery brown, much like Indian clothing. His weapon (his Lightning Blade) shifted into a new sheath, hiding its aura so it would go undetectable by Shadowhaph. The only thing that wouldn't change was his eye color, the blazing blue, unlike the usual black or bright red of the demons. His fingernails and toenails grew into three-inch claws that were also black as he entered a back-entrance to the Demon Kingdom, quickly slaying two guard-demons at that entrance and taking their armor, which included a helmet that would cover his eye color, and doning the black, heavy-set armor and steel-clad boots.

(I'm guessing that demons have terrible torcher ways.... O.o)
~*~*~*~*~
Castien let out a muffled cry as she was thrown harshly into the dark cell, skidding on the slick cold floor. Shadowhaph came in after her, pressing the side of her face onto the ground, a slimey substance coating her smooth skin. She felt her ams being wrenched up behind her at a terribly painful angle, and large, heavy iron shackles clamping over her wrists. Her ankles were soon to follow, and she was pushed backwards, then picked up by her shackles, thrown harshly to the corner. She felt a cold, sharp claw trace over her cheek, then then heard the door slam shut.
"I'll be back soon, Princess!" The demon hissed through hearing his sharp teeth, before leaving the room.

Re: U n t o l d
[ yeah, they're demons, after all... xD but don't be too harsh -- she's your character, after all! But you can go as far as you'd like, Kulukath will step in whenever you want ]
Kulukath situated himself in the full-body armor before turning to go to the throne room. Hopefully, Shadowhaph would be there already, and Kulukath could be a mock-soldier, slipping right under Shadowhaph's nose in his demon uniform that reeked of the guard demon who had worn it last, and the helmet hiding his eyes. Kulukath strode throughout the castle, not once taking a wrong step and landing in the many traps that were laiden across the floors and walls in this kingdom to prevent intruders like himself. Whenever he passed another demon, they saluted to him and he stiffly saluted back. Apparently the armor he'd taken was one of a demon with a high military ranking. His arm was getting tired of saluting and he bared his pointed fangs at the next demon, who didn't look surprised at his reaction whatsoever. Kulukath, feeling nervous suddenly, turned on his heel and marched down the hallways again.
It only took him a few more minutes to get to the throne room's doors and he knocked on them with a large, raspy knuckle, keeping his stiff demon demeanor and getting ready to present himself before Shadowhaph and, hopefully, become entrusted with something very important. Then, he'd get close enough to Shadowhaph to silence him forever, and hopefully, succeed this demon's filthy throne.

Footsteps quickly faded, and the elf was left alone. Shackled, in the dark, and alone, she was more fearful than she had ever been before. This was one of the worst places an elf could be. She didn't know where she was, but she suspected that the demon was getting revenge on her for not killing Kulukath. Hell, why did he pay a female to do a mans job, that he was far more capeable doing in the first place! She hissed in anger, and an old, weathered voice from her left made her whip her head around, peering into the darkness and spotting an old, hunched figure. It tutted softly, its head turning, bearing sad dull eyes and a scraggly long beard.
"Shame, shame. Shadowhaph had to take you, and such a young, pretty one too." Castien stiffened, then in desperation, crawled closer to the stranger, dragging herself over the ground.
"He'll keep you here forever." The old man tutted again, running a hand through his beard, his skin oily and dirty.

Kulukath, after getting no reply, pushing open the doors to the throne room. "Shadowhaph?" Kulukath called out in a gruff, strong voice that was very much unlike his usual voice. Kulukath looked around the throne room, a display of decapitated heads lining the side walls in glass cases, a golden plaque under each one telling who it was and what day they were killed. At the very end, closest to the throne, Kulukath was much angered and rather squeamish to see an empty one, his name engraved messily, as if done in anger and the carver hadn't been giving it much thought to how nice it looked, unlike the other engravings on the other ones which were very neat and orderly. Kulukath hissed a rather hellish hiss and then turned to face the throne.

Meanwhile, Shadowhaph was leaning back in the plush throne, a large, rather impractical crown set atop his head, his curling horns holding it in place. His sharp eyes watched with mild humor as his servants scurried back and forth, eager to do his bidding, or rather afraid for thier life to do otherwise. He wondered about the new prisoner, and how she would fare. He had easilly taken the gold out of her satchel, and now flipped the coins in his hand, watching them spin in the air, and land back onto his palm. He curled his fingers around them, his long nails clicking together.
Castian leaned back against the wall near the stranger, who was watching her with intent, grey eyes. She watched him back, then cleared her throat, at the same time he spoke.
"My dear girl... I'll help you as much I can, but..."

Kulukath looked around the room for the first time, noting how many servants were scurrying around and obscuring his vision of the the throne. He forcefully pushed his way through the servants until he stood before Shadowhaph. Seeing the demon with that ridiculously intricate crown on his head made him seethe with anger. Kulukath, instead, kept to his fake persona and got down on one knee and lowered his head.
"M'Lord," Kulukath said, doing his best not to grind the words against his clenched teeth. Instead, he kept the demonic tone of voice as he continued, "I came in request of anything you need to be tended to." Kulukath kept his head down, staring hard at the floor. He was glad that the black-and-white checked floor was a lot less menacing than Shadowhaph's ugly face.

Shadowhaph rolled his shoulders, and cracked his knuckles, creating many gruesome popping noises. His small red eyes darted to where one of his soldiers was kneeling at his feet, and he let a rather ugly, pleased smile curve his thin lips. Tapping his clawed fingers on the arms of the thone, he pretended to think about it, before leaning forward in his chair, hissing out the words, his pointed teeth flashing.
"Go take care of the prisoners! You know that's your job! If I have to tell you one more time, I'll behead you!" He roared, and his servants paused, rather fearful.
Castien leaned her back against the wall, looking into the cell next to her. Finally, her eyes were getting ajusted to the dark, and she was able to see the figure much better. He was so thin and looked so frail, that if you slapped him, he would fall apart. He was weaing a dirty leather pants, but that was it. His stomach was sunken in, and as he hunched over, his backbone could clearly be seen. His ribs were showing, and Castien swallowed, appaled by how cruel this 'Shadowhaph' was.

Kulukath pretended to shudder and nodded quickly, "Yes, M'Lord," Kulukath scurried to his feet and jogged out of the room, hissing angily at a servant girl who happened to get in his way, and he knocked her down without second thought. He made his way to the prison chambers and began to search around. One of the guards looked at him funny, and walked up to him, pointing a knife at his throat.
"Do you not know who I am, corporal!?" Kulukath growled loudly. "Get out of my way!" Kulukath slashed into his thick armor with one clawed hand and made his way into the chambers, staring into the dark cells, his eyes almost immediately adjusting. When he saw a hunched figure of an old man in one of the cages, he grinned. He used to know this old man. He'd once helped him escape. "Old man!" Kulukath barked stiffly.

Castien stiffened as she heard a rough voice and footsteps, and shrank back into the corner, her irons clinking slightly. Her hair was rather tangled and fell around her face in dirty strands. Her face was streaked and dirty, and she seethed silently, her head against her chest. A gruff voice called out in the darkness, and the man raised his head, his dull sunken eyes blinking once, before lowering his head again.
Castien was ready to rip something apart, and wished an unsuspecting victim would make his way into her cell. If only her hands were free, she could get out, she was sure of it!

Kulukath couldn't help but let a smile cross his face when he looked at the old man. His voice softened when he next spoke, "Old man, I haven't seen you in a while." Kulukath picked the lock on the man's cage with one long claw and stepped inside the cage, offering the man his hand. "Best keep quiet, but it's time I repay the favor, huh?" Kulukath said, staring into the cell next to the old man's when he heard the clanking of armor. He saw rather familiar choppy hair that was streaked with dirt, but the face was hidden. Instead of investigating further, Kulukath turned to the old man he'd so kindly favored. Without telling the old man his name, he helped him get to his feet. Kulukath patted the man's back with an extremely gentle touch. "Let's get you some food and get you out of here, eh, old man?"

Re: U n t o l d
The man looked confused, searching his memory for who this stranger was. Furrowing his brow, he slowly and painfully got to his feet, his boney body standing out even more that he was standing. His hands werent shackled, which probably would have broke his arms, so that was a good thing.
Castien raised her head and watched the strange demon. Something was familiar about him, but Castien had never seen a demon before, exept for Shadowhaph, and this was definatly not the demon king. Her arms ached from behind twisted behind her back, and her stomach growled loudly in hunger. Looking intently at the pair, she wondered why she was so intruiged with this demon.

Kulukath bent down close to the elderly man's ear while leading him out of the cell, "It's me, Kulukath. It's been a long time, hasn't it, old man? Missed ya. But now I gotta get you out of here. So pretend that I'm taking you to the gallows, all right?" Kulukath coughed gruffly and began to lead the old man out of the stall, answering the questions of the other guards with short 'the gallows' or 'Shadowhaph's orders,' and they all seemed to believe him and made way for him and his 'prisoner.' Fortunately, the gallows let out in the back to the mortal realm, where the old man would be well cared for by a young woman by the name of Marie who was only a mile off from the demon's kingdom. Kulukath could easily fly the old man there, in the first place. Now all he had to do was get out of this damned castle.

"Wait!" Castien called out, talking to the old man. She hadn't heard what the demon had said, but she was worried for the elderly man anyhow. "Where are you taking him!?" Her voice was strong, and rang out in the dark, dreary dungeon, echoing loudly off of the rocks. The man turned, and gave her a kind smile.
"I wish you the best, Castien." The elf's jaw practically dropped. How had he known her name!? She hadn't told him, she was sure of that. Shaking her head in wonder, she clamored noisilly over the slick floor and looked out of the bars, watching the pair fade out of sight.
(I'll be on and off, I'll post whenever I can. Its just that Idk when I'll have to get off. But I'll get back on again soon after xD)

After a good walk, Kulukath led the man to Mari's house and dropped him off. "Tell Marie that Kulukath sent you. She'll house you, she owes me a favor, anyhow. Take care of yourself, old man, won't ya?" Kulukath turned and flew off back towards the demon kingdom, returning to the chambers where he had now unmistakably heard Castien talk, and the old man had even called her by her name. He was curious as to how the old man knew her name, but as he entered the chamber again he stopped by her cell and stared into it long and hard.
"I'm going to see what Shadowhaph wants with you, scum," Kulukath snapped in his demonic voice again, anger returning.
He turned and went back to the throne room, striding up the Shadowhaph's throne and not even bothering to bow this time.
"M'Lord, the female. What do you wish of her?" Kulukath said stiffly.

(Hmm... I have to think about it. I think he'll obviously want to torcher her, and show her the conciquences of lying to him. But I'm really not sure what Shadowhaph wants with her.)
Castien straightened. "Kulukath!?" She asked deliberatly, stating his name loudly. "What the-" She started, ready to go in a full out rage, but he had already left. She stood, and started pacing the cell, muttering to herself.
"Scum. Traitor! Liar! Bastard," Listing off the names she thought were suitable for him, she slipped on the greasy floor and landed on her behind, making the guard utter a choaking laugh. She stood, wiping herslelf off, but that didn't seem to help much. Glaring at him, he looked away, a bemused, yet somewhat creepy smile curved on his thin lips.
Shadowhaph humphed loudly as the demon came back, not even bowing to him. Deciding to let it go for this once, he narrowed his eyes, tapping his claws on the arm rest.
"The feeemallleee..." He dragged out the word, his voice gravely and low. "Any suggestions?"

Re: U n t o l d
[ nothing too bad; I don't want her like.. dying.. or getting pregnant or anything. But i guess it's technically up to you. ]
Kulukath still felt angered when he vaguely heard her call his name. She'd definately pay for that slip up. Kulukath stood rigidly in front of Shadowhaph as he spoke to him. Listening to Shadowhaph's voice was like nails on a chalkboard.
"Starvation? Beating? Maybe let the men put her on for a little show, M'Lord?" Kulukath was listing some of the lesser demon punishments, but beating was rather harsh. Kulukath was trying to annoy Shadowhaph as much as he was trying to get back at Castien. Kulukath couldn't help but let a grim smile cross his lips, clearly visible underneath his helmet.

(No, no. None of that. I was just thinking.)
Shadowhaph cleared his throat grandly, raising his hands and taking off the crown atop his head. A servant scurried to take it from him, and he stood, up, raising his chin and grandly making his way down the steps that led up to the high throne.
"Good thinking. Both. Starvation, and beating. We'll see how she reacts to that, that little liar!" He pronounced, then made his way past the demon who had confronted him. "Come with me."
Castien continued to pace back and forth, muttering and cursing to herself. Many of her words were full of hate, and rather spitefull, and as she heard footsteps desending, she cursed a long stream of words, before rolling her eyes and slumping back.

Re: U n t o l d
[ okay good ]
Kulukath smiled grimly again and nodded, bowing his head respectfully. He had to admit, he was beginning to like Shadowhaph. After all, he was helping him get back at that bitch Castien. Kulukath turned on his heel and followed Shadowhaph down to the chambers again, where his highly developed ears could faintly hear her muttering, though he couldn't catch every word that she was saying. From the tone she was using, she was obviously pissed. Kulukath stayed behind Shadowhaph at all times, though, not having the proper key to the cage, having a strange feeling that Shadowhaph would probably just rip off the lock. In case he didn't, he stopped momentarily and took the key from another guard.
