I gasped and held onto his shoulder's. I put my leg's around his waist and rubbed myself against him, I nipped at his throat possessively. I smelt another female that was some what coming our way probably smelling Dyami in his prime, I flexed my nostril's and snarled warning her not to come near me and Dyami because he was my mate and I wasn't going to give him up that easily without a fight. But she still came at us, I snapped and got out of Dyami's arm's and turned into a wolf. I then lunged at the female and we started to fight. I ripped at her neck teaching her she can't have Dyami, I felt her teeth go into my shoulder but didn't pay any attention. I warned Dyami not to get involved in this because it was between her and me.

I turned into a wolf and scoffed at the other female not interested in her at all and just laid down waiting for them to finish. I decided that she was my mate and nothing would change that.

I got pinned against the ground and I was trying to get to my feet and not be on my back. I felt her claw's dig into my underbelly and started to tear at my fur and flesh, I then felt her winked teeth on my throat. I concentrated all my strength into my limb's and threw her off of me. We circled each other blood dripping from us steadily, blood coated our bodies like nothing else. You'd think we'd be dead with how much blood we've lost, the other female submitted to my will and took off into the wood's and I chased after her running her off of mine and mate's territory. I panted as my muscle's shook from exhaustion, blood dripped from my tongue and between my leg's where she had tried to get at. I was missing some of my left ear and a lot of fur from my neck, side's, and my rump. I went to the stream and drank trying to get the blood taste out of my mouth since she wasn't normal, I then laid down too tired to get up and move, I scratched at my face but just making more blood come from my forehead.

I lifted my head,"I don't care, she could of hurt you." I said stubbornly and just laid there letting my body get strength back into it before I was ready to do anything. I heard the pup's screaming basically, I shot up and raced back to the den and rammed right into a mountain lion. I looked scary as I stood in front of the pup's that were still whining, I fixed my hellish black eyes on the mountain lion daring it to try and get past me. my ear's were pinned to my head and my lips were showing my very sharp white fangs that dripped saliva. Some how my wound's from that female wolf magically healed and I was most defiantly ready to fight to protect my pup's, the lion slowly backed up then tore into the bushes and ran off. I snorted and trotted to the pup's making sure all of them were okay, I licked and licked till they probably were glistening clean. All of them were safe and didn't die

I followed her quickly "I don't care your much more improtant" I said and nuzzeled her nad the pups after I chased away the moutain lion and nearly ripped it's leg off as I chased it and made her relax before brining her some food to eat and lay around her and the pups "Rest, your hurt and injured I don't want to loose any of you" I whispered softly to her.

"I'm all healed." I said but I listened to him and ate then soon fed the pup's their milk. After they were done I put my tail over them and made sure they were warm. My eyes were searching the darkness of the night looking, waiting for something that I had a feeling would come sooner or later. I kept my ear's pricked up to point's on my head and sniffed every once and a while to make sure nothing was there besides my family that I loved with every fiber of my being
