I shrugged, but moved quickly. "There is no other choice!" The dragon landed, throwing the chill breeze into my face. I hugged the baby closer to me, hopping on the beasts back. "Dont worry, I called him." I held my hand open for her to get on also.

Gilraen had to pin down her dress where the open thigh was. Gilraen frowned and took his hand, hopping onto the dragon's back behind Caldrion and wrapping her free hand around his waist. She was hoping she could explain what had happened to him later.

He averted his gaze, though he had seen her nude many times. "Where are your clothes?" He asked, as the dragon opened his wings. "Hold on!"

Gilraen sighed and rested her chin on his shoulder. "Voromere's seamstress took them from me..." Gilraen noticed how he was pointedly looking away. Obviously he didn't believe her story about her kissing Voromere.

I lowered my head, and the dragon took off into the air. Suddenly, there was voices and shouting, and I could hear arrows wizzing by. "GO!" I yelled to the dragon, and he flapped, propelling us into the sky.

Gilraen pulled her head back and removed her arm from around Caldrion's waist. Instead, she just clung to the dragon with her legs. She felt awkward around him now. She had to explain what happened when they were home free.

I reach back, pulling Gilraens arms around my waist. I was so happy she was alive! My head bowed into the wind, and I stroked Gilraens hand softly, letting her know I wasn't mad about anything.

Gilraen smiled weakly when he pulled her arms back around his waist. It was nice to have him do that. It was reassuring. Instead of speaking, she rested her cheek on his shoulder and sighed, nigh crying. She was so upset about everything. They were lucky to be escaping.

Soon, the arrows stopped flying, and we had made a clean getaway. The dragon flew quickly, and within the hour, we were halfway to our home. The baby started to cry loudly, and I shifted weight, trying to get him to calm down.

Gilraen was quiet as the child started crying. "He's hungry," she murmured. "He's going to have to wait." Gilraen closed her eyes and sighed heavily. Something snapped inside of her. She'd been used and wanted by so many men now. She felt like she was slipping into a deep depression.

The dragon circled, then landed softly, and I slipped off his back, picking up Gilraen and carrying her to the shade of a large tree. I sat down, brushing her hair back from her face. "I'm so sorry!" I blurted out, and within a few seconds, a tear slipped down my cheek. "I'm so-" My voice caught in my throat. "So happy you're alive!" I wrapped my arms around her, burrying my face in her hair.

Gilraen grunted gently when he picked her up and carried her to a shady area. Gilraen stared into his eyes as she saw a tear trickle down his cheek. "Please... don't cry," Gilraen said and brushed her hand over his cheek, taking away the tear. She smiled at him gently, "I'm sorry you walked in on me, Caldrion! I told him... i told him I'd do what he wantedi f he promised me that he wouldn't hurt you..." Gilraen returned the hug, wrapping her arms tightly around his neck.

I smiled. "Shhh, shh... It's all ok. Dont worry. Everything is fine. I wont let anything ever happen to you again!" My promise was sincere, and I meant to keep it with my life. I pulled her closer, kissing her softly on the lips.

Gilraen smiled when he pulled back gently, her eyes watering, on the brink of tears. She smiled inwardly when he pressed his lips against hers gently. A tear fell down her cheek. She was so happy to be with him again. She felt like she just needed to cry; to let it all out. But Gilraen kept her tears in and didn't break the kiss.

Valandril started to cry again, and I gently pulled away, taking the baby and handing him to her. My beautiful wife. She was mine, there was no doubt about that. Just because we werent pronounced married, didn't mean we werent in our own eyes. I smooth the hair back from her face. "I love you so much, Gilraen."

Gilraen wiped the tear off of her face as she took her child. She didn't mind breastfeeding Valandril in front of him, so she lowered one side of the skimpy dress and allowed Valandril to feed. She smiled at Caldrion and kissed his hand gently. "I love you, too..." Gilraen sniffed, trying to hold back more tears. She dropped her gaze to Valandril's head.

To make her more comfortabe, I averted my gaze, staring out into the woods, the tall green trees and the beautiful birds. It looked just like home, and I couldn't wait to get there.

When Valandril was done feeding, Gilraen moved the dress back and rested her head on Caldrion's shoulder. "I love you..." she murmured again, laying kisses on his shoulders and up his neck, to below his ear.

I lean into her, hugging her close, closing my eyes briefly, as I felt her soft kisses trailing up my neck. I bend my head down, also kissing her, but on the forhead as she was shorter than me.

Gilraen smiled as she felt his lips on her forehead. The thought of Voromere tricking her into thinking he was Caldrion that moment burned in her mind, and she shuddered a moment before cuddling up to Caldrion.

"We had better go-" I whispered into her hair, and stood, pulling her up with me, and kissing her one last time, before taking Valandril back and holding out my hand to help Gilraen up onto our ride home.

Gilraen nodded and stood up with his help before returning the short kiss. She took Elendril with her and hopped onto the dragon's back, again, with Caldrion's help, and wrapped an arm around his waist, hoping he wouldn't mind it, then rested her head on his shoulder. "Let's go home," she murmured.

[ is this going to play into later problems? seeing as they are going home, and the Elders know where they live? Like somehow they raid and capture them again, or will the move and avoid the problem altogether? ]

(kk if and when we finish this topic, we should write it into a book of some sort, but its not long enough yet.)

The dragon quickly took off again, and I gently stroked Gilraens fingers as her hands were around my waist. We soared high over the ground, dissapearing into a cloud once in a while to hide ourselves from prying eyes.
