I stop singing as Gilraen comes in. "Im sorry for what I said and did." I say, trying to cover everything in one sentance. I wanted us to be like we used to be, love filled young elves, without a care. But, I was now responsible for our family. But that didnt mean that we couldnt have some fun once in a while, right? We could still have sex without getting her pregnant, and my body yerned to be held by her once again.

Gilraen sighed and stared down at the boys, putting the bottle of food by the counter as she turned to look at him, leaning against the wall. Her eyes scanned his, although her own were dark and emotionless. She shook her head, and looked at her feet. "I'm sorry, too," she muttered. "I shouldn't have---" she trailed off, unable to finish her sentence. She had an idea of what she wanted to do, but how could she do it when she still saw love in his eyes? How could she do it when she still felt love for him? She just wanted him to accept Valandril. No, he wasn't Caldrion's son, but how could she care for two boys, one being entirely her responsibility? Gilrean slid down the wall sleepily and cupped her face in her hands, her knees pulled against her chest.

[Spritz]

I knelt beside her. "Listen. I want us to work out! I cant live without you! Please, what am I doing wrong!" I pleaded despertly.

Gilraen stared at him a moment before sighing. "I know Valandril isn't your son," she said quietly. "But I can't take care of him by myself. I see the way you try and avoid him. I just want you to... accept him." Gilraen did know that might be a bit much to ask, but she was hoping he'd do it, for the sake of keeping the family together. It was all she really wanted... All she really needed.

[Spritz]

I took a deep breath, exhaling through my nose. "Fine, fine." I throw my hands in the air, then slump against the wall. "Fine..." My voice was soft, quiet. I didnt know how I would do it, but I would.

Gilraen was a bit upset by his reaction. She'd expected a quiet one, or possibly even complete denial. His reaction just made her want to tell him to forget it. Gilraen cupped her face in her hands again and let out an exhausted sigh. No matter what she did, or wanted, she knew she couldn't make Caldrion full accept Valandril, and she wasn't going to ask him anymore.

[Spritz]

He needed a father figure, and I would be that man. I would treat him as my own son, though the sickning feeling still racked through me, remebering the male that was his father. As to prove my sincerity, I pick him up and hold him in my arms.

Gilraen heard the shifting of weight, and looked up to see Cladrion holding Valandril. The sight brought a small smile to her lips. maybe it would work out, after all. Sighing a bit, Gilraen got off of her bum and walked over to him, resting her chin on his shoulder and whispering, "Thank you, Caldrion..."

[Spritz]

"Its the least I could do for my queen." It was a solem answer, and I was dead serious. It was dark by now, and we huddled under the makeshift roof, trying to stay warm and out of sight.

Sensing his uneasiness, still, Gilraen walked over to the bed and sat down on the edge of it, staring out a window, even though she could've just looked up at the roofless sky. Maybe she'd spoke too soon. Maybe things wouldn't work out.

[Spritz]

I kiss the small child lightly on the forhead, then lay him back into his cradle, covering the both of them with more love than any normal father seemed to have. I stroke his cheek softly, and turn to Gilraen.

Gilraen stared out the window, wondering what life would be like if all of these things hadn't happened. Would they still make love on the beach shore, under the moonlight? Would they have little Elendril all to themselves, without Valandril? Would they ever go back to the way things were before? Gilraen remained completely idle, staring in front of her, out into the dark, forested trees, and didn't move, although she heard Caldrion stirring around behind her.

[Spritz]

I slide in beside Gilraen, my hands running down her back and around her waist, pulling her close to me, and kissing her neck teasingly. I wished so much that we could be like we were before, but why not? What had changed. I was begining to think it was her love for me, because I loved her the same, or even more than I had before.

[Guest]

Gilraen was brought out of her inward seclusion when she felt Caldrion's strong embrace running down her back, then settling at her waist, and felt his lips on her neck. Gilraen smiled gently and turned around so she could face him, kissing him on the lips gently. Maybe things could go back to the way they were. If only she could forget the times she was chained in the birthing chambers... Gilraen shrugged the thoughts off. Maybe tonight, they would mend their wounds.

[Spritz]

Her kiss was gentle, loving. I kissed her back, but more passionate, the back of my hand running up and resting on the back of her head, supporting it as I pressed my lips against hers, other finger trailing her jaw line.

Gilraen couldn't help but think how right it felt to be kissing him again; it was like the rekindling to their flame. She felt his hand behind her head, the other a stray finger trailing along her jaw line. She rested her elbows gently on his shoulders and kissed him back, passionately, letting her tongue slide over the bottom of his lip.

[Spritz]

The feeling of passion grew inside of me, but I kept it to a minimum, afraid to do something she didnt want. My tounge ventured into her mouth, trailing along the inside of her lip, feeling so right. This was the fire they used to have, not afraid to love eachother.

Gilraen smiled through the kiss, the feeling so natural. It was amazing that fate had brought them together. A bit uncomfortable, she shifted, pushing him gently back into the bed's mattress, but she kept her lips on his, savoring the moment, the unique taste of his tongue, as their tongues danced around in each other's mouths.

[Spritz]

I smiled through the kiss, then ran my hand up under her shirt, rubbing her back. I still wasent sure about her thoughts, if she wanted to go farther, but I figured she would tell me if I went too far. Blue sparks tinged my fingers, and they danced along her spine. I kissed her harder, with more passion and love.

[Guest]

The moment she felt his hand travel up her back, she began to feel a tiny bit nervous. Ignoring it, however, she continued to kiss him, and let her own hands travel off his neck and down to his chest, fingering his toned chest, wondering if this was going to lead where she thought it would... and at this point, she didn't mind anymore. She was just happy to be with him.

[Spritz]

I pull my lips away from hers. "Do you want to..." I ask her the question. I certanly did. But that was me...

Gilraen stared at him for a moment when he pulled away, and listened to his question. She remained silent for a moment before saying, "Yeah...I do." Gilraen smiled gently and put her lips back on his, slipping her tongue in between his lips, waiting for the inferno between them to rise up again.

[Spritz]

I flip her so I layed on top, my fingers slipping up and starting to unbutton her shirt, my lips pressing against hers.

Gilraen grunted slightly when he shifted their positions, feeling his fingers work nimbly on the buttons of her shirt, which she willingly allowed him to do. She couldn't take off his own shirt while he was working on her shirt, so instead, she hooked her thumbs in his pants and slowly pulled them down past his waist.

[Spritz]

I get the buttons undone, and slip her shirt off, throwing it to the ground. I can feel her working at my pants, and soon they slide off, my hands moving to her slim waist, hooking my thumbs under the waistband, and sliding them down, temporarily removing my lips from hers, to lean down and slip them off.
