Gilraen sighed and rested her head and handed Caldrion the fawn, which they still hadn't named. Quietly, she sighed. "I don't think they were mad at you, Caldrion." Gilraen offered a weak smile and realized some of the damage was unrepairable due to the fact it'd been destroyed by magical Gilraen stomped her foot angrily and turned to him. "I think those females are either just extremely jealous or they just hate me." Gilraen shrugged and turned away, running her fingers over the shards of glass. "Let's turn to thing at hand. I'm going to go get some milk for the fawn. Don't get in any trouble." She smiled and kissed him, heading out the door, glad to be out of her wrecked home.

I watch her leave, but I saw no one in the market. It looked deserted, and I quickly felt the sensation of something evil lurking out there. "Wait, Gliraen! Stop!" I yell, and run outside, but she was already gone, out of sight. I call to her, my voice echoing in the empty streets. My feet crunch on the gravel, and I see a shadow behind a house. "Gilraen!"

Gilraen warily walked through the marketplace, not seeing anybody out and about. Her feet stepped lightly on the dirt pathways, not making a single sond. All the doors were closed and windows shut, and even the people running shops had left their merchendise open for the taking. When she reached the merchendise stand where she was to buy milk, she saw a note written in the wonderful elf penmanship that said "Take what you must, leave payment in this basket." She looked to her right and saw a small basket that was completely empty. Suddenly, Gilraen heard something behind her, and she whirled around, although nothing was there. Gilraen slipped in between an alley that was tightly compressed between two mud houses, and crouched low, wondering what the hell was going on.

Caldrion-
I back into a corner, hidden by the darkness of the alley. I jump as I hear a noise, and whirl around, pulling a knife out of my belt. It was only Gilraen, and I pull her close to me, silently praying that we would be ok. Something large crept towards us, invisable to our eyes.

Gilraen gasped, only to realize it was Caldrion she didn't have any weapons on her, only her knowledge of magic. She leaned closer to him, only a slight bit of fear showing in her eyes. She stared onward, not seeing anything, but knowing something was very close, adn getting closer with each second. Gilraen moved from Caldrion's grasp and crouched low to the ground, almost in a frog-like position. She crept forward warily, stopping when the air in front of her chilled drastically. She pulled back and moved back towards Caldrion, eyeing the spot, her heart pounding in her chest. "Caldrion," she whispered almost inaudibly, "What is it?"
