Chapter 1

Finding a mate

I walk around. It was fall and I needed a mate. After I get a mate we must find a place to stay for winter then when spring comes we must find a den and after that have pups and raise them to the age till time for the long joinery to a summer home. And after that go back home and hunt with that bunch of pups who will help with feature litters but when they reach the age of 2 they must go and set out on this joinery.

I kept walking.The moon shined brightly while reflecting on my coat. I looked around and spot a creak. I run to it and put my crown down and drink. After that I pad across. I keep going for another hower or so till I spot out a cave. I go in and curl up. The Ottoman breeze blows through my hair making me shiver. I close my eyes tiered and fall asleep.

Morning

I awake early in the morning and go back to that creak and take a sip then turn and go to the hunting grounds, I use my noise to find the herd then chase after a fawn from this years spring. It was almost a year. I then bite it's butt and dig my hind feet in the ground while my front hang. I jerked back words and it fell down still alive. Quickly I mover to it's thorough before it can get back up. I bite down hard drawling blood. I keep my grip till it's dead then start to eat. After finishing my meal I trotted off towards the biggest valley I knew "Biken meadow" which was just below "Blackberry hill." I keep going though it would be another day till I reached it.

Night

I sat there on a hill watching the sun go down. It was a beautiful sunset. I stare in Aw then get up and trot down off the hill. I shake my coat and start running after a small hare I then jump on it and we tumble breaking it's neck but not mine. I ate it then kept going. I soon found a big lake. I took a couple gulps quenching my thirst. After that I went to a mountain. I found a small abandon den at the bottom of the mountain. I go in and spend the night.

Morning

I awake to the feeling of the sun touching my noise. I open my eyes then get up going at top speed but stop when find an adult elk carcase. I eat some of it then get going aging.

Finally after a three day search I fined the valley and hill.I raced up the hill and ate some black berries then went back down to the valley and howled to let every one know of my presents. I sat there and waited. *This valley is beautiful.* I thought *And so is blackberry hill.*

I sat there. The cool breeze blowing through my fur. I sigh and howl aging. I then notice a coyote. I growled. It was a pups worse enemy. One had killed 2 of my siblings when we were all pups. I stood up and chased it away then went back to my spot and howled a long sweet howl.

I sat there waiting. The blazing hot sun looked down at me making me sweat.

Eagle ran towards his kill, pleased with himself that his speed had not failed him. Once he was finished, he smelled the scent of a female and went towards it. Once he found the wolf in site he walked up to her. "How are you doing?" he asked.

She heard him,"Hello I'm ok....I've been run off places a lot lately while searching for that special some one. So how are you?"I looked at him. Eye to eye. "I'm Zona you?"I asked and watched a bird fly over us to be exact a dove. It made me feel slightly uncomfortable. I shook myself. I then looked deep into his eyes waiting for an answer.
