I looked back carefully," It's fresh. My tribe were exterminated when I was but a foal." I shivered slightly from memory but turned back to the direction of the marked tree.

Scorpion-
"Could one of them escaped, like you?" I asked her gently, then stepped towards the trees, looking for the marking.

I shook my head,'' They're all dead. I watched it.'' I said with an assured voice, before flicking one ear,'' I had seen it on the way here and paid it no heed, I had changed it to my mark but now that I thought about it, the marking was fresh before I even touched it.

Scorpion-
I nod my head and then touch the tree with her mark on it with my muzzle, inhaling the scent. The pine was mixed with the scent of a stallion.... I then walk back to her and tell her "It smells of a stallion, young, around three or four" I told her.

I tilted my head slightly," I wonder who, the only male of my tribe I ever knew was my Father but he's dead. Hmm.." I whispered in thought, dazed slightly at the thought of someone in my Tribe alive.

Scorpion-
I watched her closely and waited for her descision.

I lowered my ears slightly," I don't know who it could be." I said finally with a careful inclination of my head.

Scorpion-
"Should we find somewhere else to rest?" I asked her, wondering the same she was. Who could it be, if it wasn't someone from her clan?

I looked at him softly," Yes, before anything else out-of-the-ordinary occurs.." I stepped closer to him for guidance and safety, our coats brushed against one another slightly, causing a faint blush to spring to my face.

Scorpion-
My armor prevented me from noticing our touch, but I nodded, and stepped away from the treeline and towards the deserts.

I followed silently, occasionally nibbling on the dewy grass that we passed.

Scorpion-
I reach the desert and walk under a large rock. "We can wait her until dark to move again" I told her.

I nodded and leaned against the rock, lowering to the floor till I was laying in the shade.

Scorpion-
My armor folded awkwardly when I layed down, but the pinching didn't bother me. I had worn this metal my entire life, and my skin was strong enough to deal. I rested my cloudy, white eyes in the cool of the shade.

I looked over at Scorpion then looked back to the forest," What should we do now?" I asked in a leisurely tone as I pulled my legs beneath me.

Scorpion-
I thought for a second, then shrugged "I have no clue" I said with a chuckle.

" Well.. What do you do for fun?" I asked in both curiosity and slight boredom, I did wonder what he got up to in his spare time, I shook my mane free of fallen leaves and debris as I waited for his reply.

Scorpion-
"I don't usually have free time" I told her, then stood up and moved my leg around to scratch and itch. The armor was perfect for battle, but not so great when you need to scratch. I then look over at her and shrug "I don't know what we should do" I told her.

I nodded slightly and shrugged," I suppose you'd battle to much for free time." I whispered to myself in thought," I usually watch the sun rise and set when I have free time. Why don't we do one of those things?" I said thoughtfully as I noticed the sky darken ever so slightly.

Scorpion-
I glance at the horizon, then back at her "What is the point?" I asked her, then backtracked and noticed it sounded harsh. "I mean.. I've never really done anything like that....... it sounds like it would take a while..." I said, glancing back at the horizon.

I laughed softly to myself," That depends, if you like watching a fire burn out then it's interesting, if you prefer to splash water over the fire then you'll be bored." I spoje in a riddle before putting it simply," If you like fire then it'll be interesting, if you don't then you won't like it."

Scorpion-
I chuckled "I get your point" I said, then lay down beside her. I glanced around, then look at the horizon. "Its real bright" I said, then chuckled.

" Yeah." I said, agreeing with him as I watched the large ball of fire slowly approach the land," I wonder what it's like to touch a star." I murmured aloud.

Scorpion-
I glanced at her, thinking for a second. I decided to go with the joke "I imagine it would hurt" I said, chuckling.

I laughed softly," I guess it would in reality." I said, still having a slight laugh mixed in with my voice, agreeing with him, I leaned against him slightly, after watching the sun for a couple more moments, I said with a soft smile," We should do this more often."
