"But you don't have to be alone forever" I said, noticing how much pain this conversation was causing her. I felt her pain, we both hadn't talked about the subject in a long while.

I tilted my head slightly and took note of the similar fates we had,'' I doubt any would have me.'' I smiled fakely,'' Immortal me...'' I whispered to nothing before shaking my mane from my eyes.

Scorpion-
"Would you believe me if I told you a secret as well?" I asked her, wondering if she would keep my secret. She would be the only person alive who knows, other than Sub-Zero and my dead parents.

[Artemis Sinfeather]

'' Yes, You can trust me.'' I smiled softly and wait for his voice once more, with ears perked forward.

Scorpion-
I sighed "I'm immortal, no one else knows, but I am" I said and toyed with loose dirt on the ground. I then reach my nose down and blow it away.

[Artemis Sinfeather]

I smiled comfortingly,'' Your burden is one we share.'' My voice was gentle and caring, the sweetness that laced into my voice and resembled my singing voice.

Scorpion~
My ears pricked forward "For once, someone understands" I chuckled.

[Artemis Sinfeather]

I smiled sweetly then closed my eyes and lowered my head slightly, so tempted to sing the lullaby, I hummed it softly, letting my guard down completely for once.

Scorpion-
I gather up the courage and ask her "Would you like to be friends? I've never really had a friend.." I drew in the dirt with my hoof, the lullaby playing its taunting lyrics in my mind.

[Artemis Sinfeather]

I opened my eyes slightly, answering without a second thought,'' Of course.'' I trotted alittle closer, figuring I'd be aloud the privilege.

Scorpion-
I found myself smiling in relief, then forced the emotion back. I was used to doing so, and breaking that habit would be hard to do. I reach out and touch her side with my nose gently, to inhale her scent. I only did so in order to be able to find her in case of an emergency. I had never really felt the touch of another, the armor that covered my body prevented me from doing so. I stepped back from her to give her space, and I looked at her face to face. Only then was she able to notice that my eyes were nothing but glowing lights.. I was nervous as to how she would react.

I had flushed hot from his touch, I had bit back the shyness and replaced it with my usual cool and calm exterior, I was tempted to do the same to him but his armor prevented it, I settled for pressing my snout against his. From far away his scent had been peculiar, strange. Now I was close up, it was strangely comforting, like a warm fire. I stayed there for a couple of moments before pulling away and softly smiling.

Scorpion-
I smiled at her, but this time did not try to hide it as much. I lowered my head to the ground and grazed on the sweet grass below us. I thought about removing my armor, but refused to. I didn't even know her.

[Artemis Sinfeather]

I took a step back and laid in the grass, the thin green blades tickled at my dark skin. I closed my eyes and sung another lullaby, a sweet, calming lullaby;
Beyond the forest,
Lies the ocean blue,
Hovering in place,
Was a tempest,
It crept and giggled with light,
Through the sky,
Heading this way,
The dark cloak comes,
It sings in the melody,
Of energy,
Sweet and,
Electrifying,
Dark but sweet,
Comforting,
Far out to sea,
This way comes,
The Tempest,
Tempest.

Scorpion-
I continued to graze, but listened to her beautiful voice and the lyrics of the song. I calmed and rested my eyes. When she finished the calming melody I looked up at her "Your voice is amazing" I said.

[Artemis Sinfeather]

I blushed faintly," Thank you." That was probably the first time anyone ever told me that. I nibbled on the blades of green for a moment then swished my tail.

Scorpion~
I chuckled at her "I am sorry, I didn't mean to embaress you" I said, then shake my body. The armor pinched, and therefore made me shake it every once in a while.

[Artemis Sinfeather]

'' No need to apologize.'' I said with a soft smile, I noticed his armor seemed heavy as I had gotten closer,'' Do you ever take off your armor?'' I was curious, I hadn't seen a horse in armor since the samurai of my tribe vanished.

Scorpion~
I flick my ears back when she talks and turn around "No, I do not" I said and shook my body again "Not unless I feel completely safe" I add and watch her closely.

[Artemis Sinfeather]

I took note of the way his ears react to my voice, my own ears flicked back quickly as I drew my attention from him to the bushes, my eyes seeing something only I could see.

Scorpion-
I quickly realize that my reaction was unnecessary and apologize, thinking she had simply turned away from me. I could not see anything lurking in the bushes "I'm sorry, truly, I did not mean to offend you" I told her.

[Artemis Sinfeather]

I didnt look at him as I stared at the bushes," No need for apologies, I acted rashly. I just remembered something, is all." I lifted one hoof and turned completely to the direction of the bushes.

Scorpion-
I pin my ears and throw my head once "What is it?" I asked her, feeling strange that I could not see whatever the danger was.

[Artemis Sinfeather]

I looked at him quickly," There's a tree back there, with my Tribes' marking on it." I motioned to my right shoulder, the Crescent moon encircled by a viper lay there in iridescent white, I had similiar markings on my face, a viper twirling around my right eye and a crescent moon on my forehead with a rose entwined on it.

Scorpion-
I nod and then look at her markings, touching her right shoulder gently with my nose. "Then why are you tense?" I asked.
