" Alrigh then." I shrugged slightly and closed my eyes, trotting over to the shaded plants and laying among them.

[Saviour]

Scorpion-
I sigh and rest my eyes. I had only now realized that Viper had certain similarities in her insignia with Sub-Zero's clan. Was I just imagining them??

[Artemis Sinfeather]

I glanced at Scorpion from the cool brush," Something wrong?" I asked slightly worried as I stood and trotted closer to my stallion friend.

[Saviour]

Scorpion-
As she stood and trotted towards me I shook my head, turning to the water to pull my armor out. "When the sun begins to set again we will head back" I said, lifting the entire armor with my strong neck and carrying it over to a tree to hang on one of the lowest branches. "Until then we should rest" I said.

[Artemis Sinfeather]

I nodded and returned to the bushes, still worried. I thought long and hard about the insignia on the tree and wondered to myself, How could it have gotten there in the first place? The answer to such a question eluded me as I rested my head on a pile of fanned leaves, I'll go back once Scorpio's asleep and check the place out. I decided before drifting to sleep, waiting for Scorpion to follow my footsteps and sleep too.

[Saviour]

Scorpion-

I watched as she fell asleep, then slid my armor on silently and walked into the trees calmly, knowing she could handle herself if anything happened. "Who are you?" I demanded, my voice deep and slightly frightening. "Why have you come?" I laced my ears back and stomped my hoof.

[Artemis Sinfeather]

My ear flicked in my sleep and I rolled over, exposing my tender underside.

[Saviour]

Sub-Zero-
"You knew we would meet again, what frustrates you?" I asked him, my icy blue armor contrasting with his desert yellow.

Scorpion-
"Why did you choose to reveal yourself now?" I asked him, flicking my tail and lunging at him.

Sub-Zero-
I dodged his attack with a smirk "Figured it'd be a time of weakness for you" I grinned.

Scorpion-
"You have been following me!" I snarled out, lunging at him again.

[Artemis Sinfeather]

I stirred slightly but fell into sleep again, rolling back into a comfortable laying position.

[Saviour]

Sub-Zero-
I rolled my eyes "Stop being so dramatic" I snorted, lashing out at him and barely missing his shoulder.

Scorpion-
I dodge his attack and return the motion, kicking out at his shoulder and neck, and missing all but a shoulder strike. We were too close of a match to hurt each other too bad, especially with armor.

Sub-Zero-
I chuckled "Guess you aren't weak for the girl" I said, turning on him and kicking his stomach hard. The armor diluted most of the impact, and he was strong enough that it probably only tickled.

Scorpion-
I grinned "Guess I'm not" I said and avoided his attacks following the stomach shot. I catch a glimpse of his insignia, and fear shot through me.

Sub-Zero-
"Did you forget the symbol and go for your arch enemy's sister?" He laughed, clearly amused by the situation.

Scorpion-
I rear up, outraged now, and kick him twice in the chest, then once in the jaw.

[Artemis Sinfeather]

I woke up suddenly with a start, mouth dry in fear of my nightmare, I stretched my neck slightly and rested my muzzle in the water, gulping the water quickly in an attempt to cool the raspiness of my throat.

[Saviour]

Sub-Zero-
I smirked, recovering from the blows almost instantly. I strike him back in the same places and the same order.

Scorpion-
I snorted and shook the slight tinge of pain away, then charge him, crashing him against a tree. I rear up and place my hoof on his armored throat and pressed hard, completely ready-physically and mentally- to kill him then and there.

Sub-Zero-
I chuckled, the sound raspy "Do you really think this will ever end?" I smirked.

Scorpion-
I shook my head "Right here, right now" I snarled the words.

Sub-Zero-
I throw him off of me "See you later" I said, turning tail and sprinting away. I always left at the end, this was all I had to live for, and it was entertaining.

[Artemis Sinfeather]

I couldn't see Scorpion anywhere in the Oasis so I decided to check out the insignia in the forest, trotting quietly out of the oasis and backtracking to the forest we left.

[Saviour]

Scorpion-
I grumbled, he got away again.. Pinning my ears, I trot back toward the oasis.

[Artemis Sinfeather]

I reached the spot with a smile, remembering blissfully for but a moment before I walked to the marked tree, placing my muzzle on the marked bark.

[Saviour]

Scorpion-
I reach the oasis, I notice Viper's absence. I snort. "Viper got the Scorpion" I said softly "Again" I added, then, filling with anger, I throw my head and canter away, straight towards the barren, soul snatching desert.

[Artemis Sinfeather]

I whinnied before cantering away from the mark, it brought back horrific memories. I galloped back to the Oasis, glad I memorized the way, to find my friend still gone, or so I thought. There were new tracks, that lead away from the Oasis, I followed them this time, worried about my only friend.

[Saviour]

Scorpion-

I slow down when I reach the bottom of the second sand dune. I unlatch my armor and let it fall, then walk, no where to go, I simply walked. I didn't care anymore. I didn't want revenge, I didn't want anyone. I shook my head. My only friend turned out to be nothing but a fake, someone only there to weaken me for a fight with my arch enemy. I toss my mane, anger flaring still and I felt my ears pull back again. I toss my head and rear, blind with fury. My whinny was caught and carried far away by the breeze. I fell back down, snorting through flared nostrils.

[Artemis Sinfeather]

My ears flicked at the pull of the breeze, it sent a familiar whinny," Scorpion!" I whispered thankfully although I noticed a slightly angry tone to his whinny, I galloped along the sand, following his hoofprints and whinnying in reply.

[Saviour]

Scorpion-
I hear the whinny from Viper and snort in a sort of retaliation. She was only acting. I told my self, she was only following her brother's orders. Lowering my head to the ground I cover up my hoof prints and walk backwards, trying to cover up my trail. I then walk into the shadow of a sand dune and rest there.

[Artemis Sinfeather]

I slowed to a trot as I slid down a dune, finding that the hoofprints ended there," But... I could've sworn he was here..." I whispered in a lonely voice," Why'd he go?" I whispered again as I laid were the tracks ended, tears cascading down my cheeks," Scorpion... Why'd you leave?" I cried quietly.

[Saviour]

Scorpion-
I snorted at her words. She thought I didn't know. She acted so innocent. What a great actress. "You aren't sorry, you aren't innocent, you know what you did" I said, stepping from out of the shadows "You played me, I trusted you, you lied" I said, stopping the words as I stopped in front of her, my glowing white eyes watching her with sadness and betrayal.

[Artemis Sinfeather]

" What're you talking about? I only went to the marked tree and back, you left first." I said as I stood, tears still streamed down my face as I flicked my ears back and forth, confused to his behaviour and words.

[Saviour]

Scorpion-
"You are Sub-Zero's sister!" I snorted at her "You share his insignia, I knew there were similarities.. You tried to distract me so that he could defeat me in battle" I said, shaking my head "You betrayed me" I said, pinning my ears.

[Artemis Sinfeather]

" Who, under the sun, is Sub-Zero?! My family are dead! I didn't reven know I had a brother!" I cried back, my eyes filling with tears again but I did not let them fall," How can I betray my only friend? Why would I want to make you lose?" I calmed slightly as my ears pinned back against my neck, mane plastered on my skin from running and worry.
