It meant nothing, she tried to convince herself. The forest seemed to fly by her as she ran on slender legs, propelling herself forward into the abyss of the night. That's not how it will happen! she whined slightly as she stumbled over a tree trunk and somersaulted onto the ground in a heap of confusion. Instead of picking herself up, she burried her muzzle under her forearms and growled angrily as she felt a hot, salty tear trickle down the soft fur of her cheek. That's not how it will happen... She told herself and finally gained the courage to look up and see where the hell she was. She turned her dainty head to scan her surroundings. Honestly, she had no idea where she was. She was so far from her pack and now she couldn't go back. They were going to be destroyed, and she wasn't even brave enough to go tell them they were going to be killed if they stayed in that valley any longer! She cursed herself; she cursed her existance. Her father would've surely ended her suffering out of his pure rage. Her poor mother.... He'd blame it all on her. He had been convinced that ever since her birth, her mother and the rest of the pack had been cursed by demons, and that's why all the misfortune was befalling them. First, the Great Starvation. Next, the Drought. Then, the Fire. And now, the Destruction. Although she wouldn't be there to witness the Destruction. She got up and continued to pad along in the forest. Now all she needed was a lover and a home -- two things her father said she'd never attain. She let out a long howl, wondering if anybody would hear her.

"Don't ever come back!" The voice visously called after her with other yowls and furious barks and howls. The she-wolf flinched. She had to leave her pack because they didn't listen to a word she said? It was so stupid! She had to leave when everyone seemed to love her. She noticed another female leave about a moon ago. She said the same, but they refused to listen... the pack was really going to be destroyed.

Sighing, she went on alone disappearing far sight of her pack. She traveled on and on the sun started to leave her sight. Then, she picked up a fimilar scent. She let her nose run through the grass as she went through it sniffing despertly. She then lifted her nose to realize the friend from the pack that left. She felt her paws flying through the air and her sides heaving. She soon saw her and slowly walked through the trees, a concerned look in her eyes. "Hello."

She [Fyra] lifted her head and looked to see the other she-wolf. Her icy blue-grey eyes stared at her for a moment, trying to figure out who she was. A pang of recognition surged through her, and she perked her ears up. "Hello," she replied quietly, then dropped her gaze to the grass. Surely this, too, was the wolf that had testified against the Destruction of their pack? Fyra sighed. She'd left the pack on her own accord, even though she was the rightful heir. She was hoping a brute would come to comfort her, but the sight of an old friend would do her good for now. She lifted her glare again and thought of what words would be appropriate to offer to the she-wolf, whom's name had slipped from her memory. There wasn't anything she could think of that she could say. Her glassy eyes lifted up to the moon overhead as she sat regally under its protective, off-white rays. Finally, she decided what she could say, "What brings you around her?" She spoke in her normal, quiet voice, that resembled faintly that of a singing angel. She had been teased about it constantly, but it never seemed to bother Fyra. Her father especially offended her, saying, "Sounding like an angel is quite ironic for you, isn't it? Seeing as you were born of demons!" The haunting memories swirled around in her head, but she knew she couldn't let herself fall into submission of these awful memories. She kept her eyes on the faintly glowing moon and waited for the other she-wolf to reply.

Past-

"Get out of here you lousy pup! No one will ever fall for you!" His father yelled into the night, the little pup was trembling in the bushes. "Whatever female you do manage to seduce will be dead!" Gawain took off into the, never looking back. His fur whistled in the wind, tail flying out behind him in his frenzied run to get away from his blood thirsty father.

Present-

The brute growled, stomach fur brushing the ground as he stalked the unsuspecting deer. He was only a yard away, the smell of his next meal making his mouth water. The muscles in Gawain's legs tensed, they released like springs and he sunk his dagger like fangs into the back of the buck's neck. It reared, but the wolf's weight threw him off balance. The bony spine of the deer landed on his ribs, snapping one of them. Gawain ignored the pain, scrambled out from under it and gripped its throat. When the buck quit struggling, he ripped the throat out, and spat it out of his mouth, squinting at the horrible taste.

After about an hour of savoring the flavor, Gawain left his kill for the eager foxes and lapped up the cool water. When he had drank his fill, Gawain retreated to an open meadow. The cool breeze brushing through his coat as he groomed his legs.

His fathers words echoed in his head, as the wind increased and the silence grew. Get out of here you lousy pup! No one will ever fall for you! The haunting words seemed to be in the wind, written in the sky, and being chirped into song by the crickets. The loneliness and silence drove him to defy his fathers words for the first time. Gawain lifted his muzzle to the sky and let out his first howl. It was rusty, but he repeated it a couple times before it was deep and rich and seducing. The wind carried his howls far around the land, catching the attention of many.

Oliva heard her question and tried not to flinch. This wasn't time for hard feelings...none! She slowly put one paw on the other manging to sit down and chat with this female. "I--I believed you." she stammered and looked down at her paws. "I had the message clearly from Starpack... t-they wouldn't listen to me so, they banished me. They found it peaceful without some complainers." she murmured, looking up a her friend with golden brown eyes. Feeling a pang of relief that her friend wasn't mad she douted her when she was a pup, she got up and licked her friend's cheek. "I'm sorry I avoided you. I kinda got carried away as I got older of being a Princess." she whispered and put her ears to her skullcap.

Past...

A flash of lightning struck the earth as Syrrhal Vash was jetin' through the forest, gasping as he was blindsided. Vash fell upon his muzzle, making him yelp. An attack had happened on his pack. He was the only one alive but they.... They were looking for him..... They will not stop unless Vash is dead beneath their paws. Vash scrambled to his paws, he ran and ran without stoping. Tears streamed down his cheeks. He whiped his head right and left. He couldnt image how this would have happened to him. Vash ran through the night, his heart pounding a thousand miles. Rain began to pour down from the heavens, the moon hgih above the sky with no stars to fill it. An eclipce started, blood rolled down from the slope where Vash was running by. He gasped and looked to the sky, seeing the moon being replaced by an ecplice. He skidded to a stop and watched the eclpice roll through the sky crimson blood filled the land and sky. His pelt went a crimson color and he stood there with shock. His chest went in and then out again, his maw was wide open, and his eyes were wide with fear in them, tears flouding his eyes. His legs out and shaking, his tail tucked into his legs. Vash just stared up at the eclipce, making no sudden movements. Then, all of a sudden a big BOOM! and a flash of black clouded Vashs eyes. He was upoon the ground, his eyes closed, and all was black....... Vash awoke with an gurge to kill, he scrambled to his paws, and his chest went in and then out again fast, his breathing were like gasps. He stood there looking around to see himself standing upon the edge of a cliff, that hung over a rushing water that was about 100 feet down from where he stood. Vash snorted, pulling his crown up to look at the other side of the valley.


Present...

Syrrhal Vash went into a stalking postion. WIth a swift reflex he whirled around on his paws, and swung his claws at his enemy's face. Missing, he snarled. His enemy tackled him wiht full force, Vash growled in rage and flung the black male wolf off him. He snorted, then with a swift cunning motion Vashs maw was around his neck, sinking his fangs itno his throat, and tearing out his widepipe with swift yank. Syrrhal Vash snorted, with a slight growl. He shook his pelt and stood straight. His crown held high. He stretched his slender neck out, to howl his victory. This was his land and no will set foot on it, without a fight. Vash snarled in defence and looked down at the lifeless body before him, he growled and turned swiftly making his way toward a mountain. He skidded to a stop, pricking his ears forward, and his claws out-leashed. He lifted his muzzle up and let in the scent of three wolves in his path. He growled and let out an evil bark almost like a rumble of a roar from a lion. Vash growled loudly and bolted across the land, he was invisible as he raced through the trees, zooming past thickets. As he got closer, he burst through the opening and skidded to a stop. He snarled his lip pealing abck into a deathly snarl. HE snorted to see two females. But where was the male he has smelt. He looekd around and then shrugged. Turning his attention back towards the two females. He growled, but spoke in his velvet voice. " Why are you two on my land, and for what reason?" Vash said with a slight evil voice. He glared at the two with stunning electic blue eyes.

Fyra whipped her head around, immediately on her feet. When she realized it was just another brute, she sat down, wrapping her tail around her daintily and letting the tip rest in front of her forepaws. "I am at no liberty to answer your question." Fyra said in her angelic tone. She held her head high, like she used to when she was still heir of her old pack. She searched the brute's eyes, as she'd grown accustomed to, being able to tell the intent behind a wolf's eyes. She snorted and pinned her ears tightly. He wasn't the sort of brute she was in the mood for messing with. The coppery tang of blood wafted through the air, and she dug her claws into the soft, fleshy earth. She stood up and composed herself to her full height, even though the brute was still taller than her, and more filled out with a muscular build. Her slender figure would be no match for his strength, but she wasn't about to give way to him. "My question is, what do you care?" She spat, a hint of venom in her words.

Vash guessed this female was going to be a challange to get off his land. So he decided to hang loose for awhile 'till he would examine her ways of fighting. WHich was easy for Vash, since he could figure out a wolfs fighting methods wihtin a second before they attacked. He searched her for moment and sighed. He then heard her snappy words, he growled and pinned his ears tightly to his cranium. He replied back to her, with an intence hostile voice. " This is my land female. And i intend to reseve answers." He spat out at her with a furious expression on hsi face. He snorted. He lowered his body to teh gorund and lashed otu hsi tail. Vash moved his body from side to side slowly. He looked over her again. Seeing her slender body. She may be slender but he was cunning, and swift. No match for him. He thought to himself. You would have gave me a better oppoant then this Starpack. He rolled his eyes at her. " Your a fisty one." Vash had to say she was pretty, but then again he would not elt ehr control him with her beauty. It was impossible since Vash was ruthless and deathly.

Fyre snarled angrily. "Well I hate to disappoint, brute," she added a certain amount of disrespect when she said 'brute,' "But you're not going to get any answers from me." She tensed, watching his every move through her icy blue-grey eyes and lookde over him. She dug her claws deeper into the earth as she scanned her surroundings. She growled angrily when he called her feisty. Fyra usually assosiated 'feisty' with overobsessed faes that wanted no more than to have a mate that would pleasure them in any way they desired. "Be careful of your words, insolent pup." She snapped and bared her fangs, lowering her head slightly. He was beginning to get on her nerves, to the point where she wanted to rip his throat out, but she knew it wouldn't be wise. Although he might get an unpleasant surprise from her. She was stronger than she looked, and definately had a lot more skill than she liked to admit. If he decided to attack her, he'd be confronted with a warrior-in-the-making. Her half-brother had taught her well. She muttered something under her breath and watched him for any signs that he was going to attack.

Syrrhal Vash growled in rage. fury building up insdie of him. He wanted to rip her throat out right but he decided to stay calm fro the sake of his mother. Vash sorted and said. " You have a mouth on you. But you should watch where going with it. You won't like what you becoem of if you keep up!" He roared. he started to get a sizzle of kill in him. But he stayed calm Driving his claws into the earth. She may think she is scary him with her words, and movements. But one thing she doesnt know is that Vash is fearless. So far he wanted to rip into her flesh and kill her. Vash growled. " Don't think so fast Fae! I'm not who you think i am. There's more behind the eyes then you see." He snarled and spat at her with fangs that grew 2 inches longer. He glared at her with blazing electice blue eyes. He stood there motionless, keeping his balance. The only thing that moved on his body was his tail that lashed out. His eyes began to glow, his body started to glow, and all you could see was a bright brilliant light. That would blind you if you stared into it. His eyes a blazing bright blue. She thinks she would defeat him, well she'll have another thing coming with she keeps this up. He watched her movements, seeing if she would dare have the nerve to attack her. She was starting to her on his nerves. Which if she pulled the trigger that sets him off, she'd be one less soul to kill, which in meaning she'll have a hard time fighting against him.

"There's more than meets the eye," she scoffed mockingly. "Why don't you open up yours, as well, then?" Fyra stared at him for a moment before a bright flash of light almost blinded her. She turned her head and squeezed her eyes shut before slinking back away from the light. Her eyes finally adjusted to the light, and she turned her head back to look at him. The bloodlust eminating from his aura was unmistakable. She shivered slightly. Never had she met someone with such desire to kill. Yet she refused to back down. Fyra growled slightly, "Impressive," she said, keeping a monotone voice. "But I don't think it's good enough." She couldn't quite place why she continued to provoke him, for death would surely be her penalty if she kept it up. To change the tides, she rolled her eyes and turned her head away from him. "What have your eyes seen to make blood your lifeline?" She asked quietly. "What horrible thing could have happened that made your bloodlust so prominent?"

This is why others were scared of him. This is what he has become. He snroted and looked at her. " It's not my fault i'm like this. Something had changed me when i was a pup. Something had gone wrong. My pack was killed off. I ran away, an elecipce started. I blindsided by a horrible moster, when i woke up the next day, i fet bloodthirsty, and i had the urge to kill. Something had went wrong that night, and thats why i'm like this. Don't blame me, blame the moster inside of me." He said with an intence roar of anger. The light begat o fade but hs body still glowed of a bright white. " There! You got your answer! Now give me mine!" He snarled. He could kill her right here and right now, but soemthing provoked him from duing such a thing.

Fyra listened intently and looked him over once more. He obviously deserved her answer now, and so she nodded and let out a long sigh. "I'm running." She said quietly, then nodded to her companion. "We're running. Our pack's Destruction is near. I ran away, but she was banished." She didn't even bother to ask her friend if it was all right if she told him of their business. "We might as well just leave." Fyra stood up and wafted her long, silky tail back and forth behind her before letting out another sigh. She turned, containing all the information she'd just gained. She stopped at her once-doubtful companion and looked at her with longing eyes, "From here, I must go on alone." She said quietly and began to walk away from the two wolves, head lowered.

Gawain snarled and furiously scratched the dirt. He howled again, fury building up in his body. All I want is a friend! He thought. He wasn't sure if he saw the flash through the trees or not, or talking. When he slinked closer to inspect the scene, the brute had jumped back in surprise, but kept his cool. He got caught up on the story, seeing the fae wouldn't cough up a single answer, and the other wasn't what you thought, when he got mad, he must of turned into that. But when she left, he turned his head and took a step forward, realizing he had just exposed him self.


Gawain clumsly tried to back up, but the bushes had him caught, except for his head. "Uh, hi." He whined and put his head down on submission the best he could. "I was about to leave, when I heard talking and I haven't seen another soul since I ran as a pup.... and.... I should be going, as soon as I figure put how."

Oliva sighed and watched her friend walk off. She looked at the monster through narrowed eyes. "I must be going." she murmured. She never liked fighting, and she always used to keep peace in her home. Turning, she walked away slowly not even bothering to turn back. She met at Fyra's side one last time. "I'm glad we could meet again. I'm afriad our paths won't meet again."

She flicked her tail in farewell and went the oppisite way of her old friend, running into another brute. "Oh... hi." she whined.

Fyra closed her eyes and turned her head slightly to the side so she could watch her friend until she was out of sight. She lowered her muzzle to the grass-lacking ground and blew out a puff of air through her nostrils. Lifting her head regally, she once more took stride with the motionless surroundings of the forest. She quieted her steps, in case that monster of a brute decided he was to chase after her. She carried herself so lightly that she didn't even make pawprints in the soft earthy soil that was underneath her. Fyra only had to travel a few minutes before reaching the thin line between the darker forest and sumptuously lighted stretch of green, fresh grass that only lasted for about 10 feet, before sloping gently down into a slow-flowing strip of water, that ranged between three and five feet deep. She looked down into the crystal-clear waters and let out a deep sigh, her muzzle making contact with the glassy water and sending ripples out around her nose. She watched them intently before closing her eyes and taking in long gulps of water. Then, Fyra contented herself by sitting up straight by the edge and wrapping her tail around her like she usually did, staring across at the other side of the lake. She was in no mood to cross the waters at the moment, however. So, she continued to stare blankly, the feeling of loneliness once more settling over her shadowed heart.

Vash watched the fae turn and leave. He sighed in aw. Shaking his crown, he lowered it to the earth. His body went limp and he was in deep thought. Memories stared flooding back into his mind. Syrrhal Vash threw his crown up and took one moment to realize that it wasn't him doingall the mosterous killing, and threatening attitude. It was the demon that had possessed him making his actions seem bloodthristy. He looked up to the sky. He murmured to himself. " I need to find that fae." Vash darted off through the thickets were she had dsapeared. Vash botd trough the trees, zooming passed the trees. Syrrhal vash made his way toward her scent. Growing closer to her. He burst through the bushes. Vash snorted and tumbled upon her, he gasped as he fell into her. He grunted when he stood. Vash shook himself, he got up helping the up. H sighed, gasping for air. He finally said. " Sorry about that." Vash said dusting himself off. He looked up at he with brilliant blue eyes. " I- Uh.... Um... Don't think i got your name." He studdered to answer. He hadn't said these words in awhile, they were new to him.
