Angel pricked her ears hearing lynn say she needed to pack, which ment scott was taking them back to the ranch. Angel let a shrill whinny out she missed her home. " looks like she's ready to go" scott said with a laugh as he patted angels thick neck " well my stuff is already packed so I'm going to get angel ready to go" scott said as he smiled at lynn " just call for me if you need help" he said before kissing her on the cheek and took angel back to the mares barn

Cloud's ears flew to alert and he drew back his head in slight disgust. "Don't worry about it boy, it will be nice." she said softly as she touched his cheek. "Want to go out to pasture on last time?" Opening his door, Lynn took hold of his lead and guided him out to his own pasture. "See you soon."

Lynn stood in the middle of her bedroom. It had been her room since the day she came to the ranch which was nineteen years ago last month. Not once had she ever rearranged the small room, always keeping it the same, afraid of change. The bed was always flesh upagainst the wall opposite of the windows so she could turn her head and gaze out of them if she had the cream curtains open. A small dresser sat on the left wall with a few nick-nacks on top. The other wall had a oak desk with a stool where she wrote short stories, drew pictures and kept all her letters. There was a rocking chair that Dan said belonged to her mother in the corner. That was where Lynn read her most treasured books.
Now, the room was packed up. All her books were in a box along with her special things. A duffel bag held her clothes from the drawers and a few riding outfits from her closet. She took down a couple pictures off the walls and put them in some newspaper. Done with that, she dusted her hands off and sighed. Moving back to the desk to pull out some stationary, two books caught her eye. They were her Sociology and Geomerty books from school. "Crap.." she muttered.

Exiting her room for the final time, she carried everything out onto the porch where she met Scott. Holding up both textbooks she said, "What about school? I still have to finish out my senior year.."

Scott was finishing putting his belongings in his truck that was a ford avalanch. Scott saw lynn bring her stuff to the porch and as he went to grab some of her stuff he heard her mention her senior year. " you could take online classes or well figure something out I got my ged 2 years ago so I could focus on mine and angels career" scott said as he loaded the rest oh her stuff into the bed of his truck. Scott walked over to lynn and hugged her from behind " well figure everything out I promise" he said into her ear as he kissed her neck and pressed her closer to his body.

Lynn watched as he loaded up her belongings. She had to quite school in order to help Dan on the farm after his wife died. That was a few months ago so she shouldnt be to far behind.

She felt his strong arms embrace her from behind and she rested her thin hands on them. They felt so warm beneath her skin. She rested her body against his and smiled with her eyes close at how nice he felt around her. She could really get used to this.

"Alright you two, break it up." teased Dan as he walked around the truck and up to the porch. "Can't leave without saying good bye to me." he said with a smile. Lynn noticed a thin set of papers in his hands as he opened his arms to let her in.

Scott smiled to himself as he felt lyns small danity hands rest on his muscular arms. Scott let go of lyyn as dan came around to say his goodbyes " we can't leave yet we still have to load angel and cloud" scott said with a smile as he heard angel whinny loudly wanting to go home. Scott notice some papers in dans hands as he hugged lynn but he kept quite

Lynn smiled and wrapped her arms around her care taker. She stayed there a moment embracing the life she would soon be leaving. This man had raised her for the majority of her young life and taught her everything she needed to know. It would be hard leaving him behind. "Ill visit often." she promised as she fought the tears.

Dan sniffled as he drew back. "These papers here are your birth certificate, social security number, passport, immigration papers, adoption papers, and proof that your am American citizen." he handed them to her and looked down. Lynn took them and knew he fighting back tears as well. She looked at Scott and asked him with her eyes to take care of the horses. She needed a few moments alone with Dan.

Scott nodded and smiled leaving the two to go tend to the horses. Angel was already being lead more like pulling towards the trailer to go home. Scott smiled as he patted his mares rump as she went into the trailer before heading to the stallion barn to retreave cloud. As scott reached his stall he got clouds lead rope " ready for a trip boy" he said as he hooked it the his head collar and lead him towards the trailer

Cloud danced after Scott as he lead him from his stall. Something new was in the air. He was eager to be with Angel and wanted to see Lynn. As he rounded the stallion barn, he caught sight of Lynn and whinnied. Cloud suddenly stopped, his hooves digging into the loose pebbles of the gravel yard. He was leaving...

The palomino stud grunted and jerked his head around to face the mare's barn. Longing and sadness filled him as he thought about all the mare's he would be leaving behind. All the one's he had happily had the pleasure of mating with the others he never got around too. But now he had Angel, his only mare. He knew Lynn would use him for more breeding on Scott's farm.

Lynn said her final good bye to Dan and released him. She smiled a sad smile and wiped her eye as she walked to the truck as Scott closed the trailer door. She ran her hand along the side and slowly climbed in to the cab.

Scott smiled as cloud followed willing until he saw lynn and was reluctent to go " easy boy don't worry both our girls are coming and there are a lot more mares and bigger pastures and stalls for you to roam" scott said as he patted clouds neck before finally shutting the trailor doors and getting into the drivers seat. " everything will be fine love" he said as he took lynns hand and kissed it before heading out onto the road.
Angel nickered to cloud as he got in the trailer and nipped his mane " you'll love it back at secret hide away its where I was born and grew up " she said as she licked his shoulder calming him down

Cloud nuzzled Angel back, but did not say anything. He turned his head and stared out the bared window at his home. The home where he was born and where he grew up. He was not a fan of new beginnings but as long as Lynn was by his side, he would be okay with it.

Lynn took Scott's hand and held onto the bar above her head with the other. This could be a long trip. With a sigh, she rest her head on the head rest and gazed out the window, watching everything she ever knew fly by and disappear forever.

Angel sighed and started to drift of to sleep as they head off towards home. Scott glanced over at lynn evert now and then during the drive he smiled as he caught her sleeping. He turned country music on a low volume so it would wake lynn up. On the way to hide away they made two stops to let angel and cloud stretch before heading the rest of the way home. As scott started to turn down the cherry blossom lined drive way he nudged lynn " hun look were here " he said as she slowly woke to mares and foals onb one side and yearlings and 2 years old on the other saide. There was a horse in every color you could imagen . Looking head you could see 4 areanas indoor and outdoor and 5 barns with a big victorian farm house macion with a dexk rapping around it.

Lynn slowly woke up from her light slumber. She heard Scott's voice and it aroused her, making her open her eyes in alarm. She thought something was wrong, but when she got her bearings she saw everything seemed perfect. All around her were fenced in pastures with horses grazing happily. The landscape was marvelous and the huge house seemed too good to be true. "This is all yours?" she asked softly.

Scott ran a hand through his hair as they drove to the spaceous court yard that had a large greek looking fountian in the middle " I guess you could say that" he said as the truck came to a stop infront of the barns. Scotts family came from banrs and the house " come on time to meet the family " scott said before getting out of the truck and walking to her side to open the door for her. Scotts younger cousins and grandparents came out and started to hug him and want to meet lynn.

Lynn sat in the truck for a moment, hesitant to get out. She had never been around so many eager people before and it frightened her. The red head gathered her wits and stepped down from the cab onto the gravel drive. Her black cowgirl boots crunched the stones under her weight as she moved to shut the door to the truck. She wore a half smile on her face and her cheeks burned red. She gave a small wave to everybody and looked down shyly.

Scotty smiled at his family before turning to lynn and taking her hand he looked at his family " guys this is lynn" he said. Almost everyone said hi at once. Scotts grandmother stepped closer and gave ehr a hug " hello dear I'm grandma aggy or malmal" she said before introducing lynn to the cousins abnd ucles and aunts who were at the farm. After awhile aggy and the rest of the family let the two tend to their horses who were making a lot of noise. From the trailer

The echos of his family rang in her ears as she tried to look at every face and make eye contact so they knew she has acknowledged their greeting. An elderly woman stepped forward and hugged her tightly. Lynn was surprised how much strength was behind such a frail looking figured. "Hello." she said back in response once she could finally breathe.
When she had met every single person in his family, she was sure she did not remember one name except for his spunky grandmother, Aggy. Everyone and dispersed and let them alone to tend to Angle and Cloud. Lynn moved to the trailer and swung the heavy door open. Cloud trumpeted his annoyance and stamped his hoof, eager to get out. The ride was long and bumpy, his body ached from trying to keep his balance and he was already homesick.
Lynn backed him out slowly and walked in a few circles to loosen up his tight joints and muscles. "Just relax.." she cooed as she stroked his sweaty neck. He looked like a mess. Promising to give him a bath tonight, Lynn escorted him into the roomy stud barn and found a good sized stall. Cloud turned a few times and tossed his head, neighing profusely as he let everyone know he was a superior stud. "Oh stop.." Lynn said as she bumped his nose.

after awhile as scotts family finally met lynn and settled down to let them go tend to their horses. Angel whickered as scott and lynn opened the trailer doors. " come on girl" scott said as he back her down the ramp. Angel whinnied loudly letting everyone know she was finally home. She was greeted with many nieghs and whickers and whinnies. Scott walked her out alittle and checked her joints but noticed her stomach was alittle bigger " what having you been up to" scott said as he walked her to her stall in the eventers barn. Before unloading the rest of angels and clouds things before going back to angel and putting fresh water and feed in her buckets. " that's for later girl you need a bath though" he said as he patted her neck before going off to find lynn at the stallions barn. " so does he like it here " scott asked as he saw lynn and cloud

Lynn turned to face Scott as he entered the massive barn through the main two doors. Before she could answer, Cloud thrust his head over the stall door, knocking Lynn aside, and squealed. His squeal bounced off the cement floor and echoed through the stalls, arousing all the other studs. A pesky red stud threw his head over his door and turned to look at Cloud with his ears slanted back. Cloud gave him the stank eye and proceeded to try and nip him. The stud threw his head back and retreated back into his stall.
"Well, he doesn't seem to be making friends to easily.." she decided as she crossed her arms.

As scott entered the stallion barn cloud squealed almost knocking lynn over. Scott couldn't help but laugh as cloud tryed to bite at the red stud who retreated to the back of his stall " don't worry red eclispe is one of our younger studs who's still green" he said as he patted clouds large broad nose before turning to look at lynn " some of our older studs will make friends with cloud we pair up our studs the older ones with a younger one to train them but the studs that are aggressive they go out with their compain which is either a goat or one of the barn cats" he said with a smile

Lynn Smiled and shoved his nsoe away from her as she back up. "I sure hope he makes a friend." she said as she took Scott's hand and started for the door. "Suppose we should head in? Im pretty hungry."

Scott smiled " I'm sure he will. We could always put him with angel and maybe they'll breed" he said as they started to walk to the house since it was getting late majority of scotts family went home the only other family members that lived in the main house with scott and the grandparents. As they walked in the front door the house look right out of a horse magazine trophies and ribbons everywhere. The family room was filled with trophy cases and pictures covered the walls the kitchen was big too. " are you hungry or what do you want todo" scott asked as he slide his arm around her waist and smiled down at her

Lynn admired the large walls covered in decorative ribbons of various colors and she marveled at all the gleaming trophies that sat in cases and on shelves. "This is nice." she murmured as she walked towards the kitchen with Scott. "Uhm i think im a little hungry. I havent ate much since the hospital food and that was pretty gross." she wrinkled up her nose at the thought and turned to Scott as he wrapped his arm around her.

Scott smiled as her reply. As the reached the kitchen scott looked at lynn and in a split second he put his hands on her waist and lifted her up on the counter and placed his hands on her thighs " so what would you like to eat " he asked as he leaned in for a kiss

Lynn giggled and held onto Scott's strong shoulders as he lifted her up onto the counter. She slid back so she was not so close to the ledge and placed her hands on his that rested on her thighs. He leaned in for a kiss and she happily leaned into, delivering a quick peck. She drew back and smiled, her cheeks flushed. "How about a salad. That sounds nice.." she decided.

Scott smiled as she kissed him then said what she wanted " alright" he said as he walked over to the fridge and pulled out a freshly made salade grandma aggy had made that morning " the vegitables and fruits are from my grandmas and moms garden" he said as he made her a bowl
