Her white paws padded against the hard earth floor, and the grass parted, to be replaced by dirt. The sound of water rang in her ears as clear as day. She smiled and lied down by the brooke's edge and sat there, quietly. She watched as the fish splashed in and outta the water and she giggled as on looked at her... "Hello little one." she murmured quietly. She then looked out and into the mountains. Dark clouds were forming in the sky. She sighed. It was going to rain. She trotted back to her den to get a good nights rest, for it was gonna be a long night. She approached her den, and it already started to drizzle. Her fur was soaked all wet. She walked inside and made about 3 circles, before lying down for a nights rest. Her dreams brought greatness to her heart. The world with a mate, the world without two-legs. The time to be free. She smiled. She could smell her mate's scent. His sweet and great tasting scent. Then there was silence he was no longer in her few. She whined and called for his name desperately as she looked everywhere. Her brown eyes flew on. The dream had turned into a dark nightmare.She went outside. She looked up. The rain had stopped, but it was night. The stars were shinning brightly, cause there was no pollution to stop it. The moon was full. The crickets were singing, and talking to each-other. Nocturnals were coming out for a night's hunt. She then heard fading howls, and hear a owl coo once. But she could hear those regular birds. She heard a few distant howls and barks. From the different creature and the one alike. She growled happily and let out a bark saying. 'I'm free.' she smiled and let the night air's breeze blow her pelt.

Hayu

I sat upon the edge of a rock that jutted out of the side of the mountain. My brown and white tipped thick fur swirled as I squinted into the harsh cold wind. Licking my chops I lay down, allowing my large front paws to hang over the edge. Whining softly, I look about at the unfamiliar land before me. Since I was alone, I figured that being up higher would be safer for a dog then being on the ground where wild predators could get you with ease. I wasnt a dog that was easily spooked, just one that would rather take precautions then risk getting killed. Huffing, I look to my right and left to make sure I had missed nothing.
Later on, I hear the sounds of happy yipping from a female dog... But I couldn't be sure. I was so tired and it was so cold I was sure I must being going delirous (sp).

Jasper

He smiled as the rain stopped, and now the stars could finally show their beauty without the clouds covering them up. He stepped out of his rather small cave, his paws pressing softly against the fresh, soft mud. A soft howl rumbled in his throat as he licked his chops in ready for another meal. His stomach had been bothering him lately, and he was afraid it could be a flu-bug of some sorts. He cleared his throat, and within an instant, a sweet, delicate aroma of a fae drited up his nose.

He bolted after the scent, hoping to find the one, special female he had been searching for. His slowed to a brisk trot as he knew he came closer to the girl. He had been so secluded from everyone for the past week or so. His pelt stood on end as the breeze carried it upward. He had heard her bark earlier, and she sounded as heavenly as an angel herself. He exhaled deeply as the fae stood within his viewing range. He couldn't help but not to smile, so he stepped forward and humbly greeted her with a yip-type of a bark. "Hello... I'm Jasper... Who might you be?" he spoke enchantingly as his eyes gazed into her beautiful ones.

The she-dog gave a few fun howls with all the dogs, til everything was silent. She tried barking a few times more, but they weren't even anymore. There was just silence. She sighed, and frowned. She was lonely once again.

She sighed and dug her claws depressingly into the ground. Until she heard, "Hello...I'm Jasper... Who might you be?" She was no longer alone! She turned to the presence of a handsome male dog. She smiled, as her amber eyes met his. She bowed down, like she was about to go for the attack, or play some kind of game, and gave a greeting whine. "Hello, Jasper. I am known as Brooke." she said and lifted her head high,with a small flick of the tail.

Jasper
His tail thumped loudly, and as did his heart. He was so glad to finally come in contact with another canine, better yet a she-dog. His eyes locked on her gorgeous pelt for a moment, observing each individual, soft piece of fur. She looked so elegant in the moonlight, oh how beautiful she was.

He loved the way how her name sounded, and he loved how her eyes gleamed in the stars' reflections. "Beautiful name, Brooke. Magnificent." he said and dipped his head repectfully towards her. Oh how he longed for her to be his mate.

Brooke smiled as he called her Magnificent. She shook her head silently, and let the harsh, cold air make contact with her pelt. She watched him bow. "Um, no need to bow." she said with a chuckle. She didn't feel like he needed to be respectful to get her attention, just to be free and let lose, to have fun. She did it that way at least.

Jasper

He chuckled softly at her remark, looking at the ground with slitted eyes as he did so. He had started to feel more comfortable around her already. "Well, bowing towards a female as beautiful as you is necessary." he spoke with a charming tone as his tail thumped louder and louder, his heart pressing against his chest.

Brooke smiled. "Well, I'm glad you see it that way." she murmured and got a small stick, to go and play in the small brooke. She smiled and looked inside it, her reflection shinning so brightly. It was all of her. She saw no fish, but she kept splosh and splashing through the water playfully.

Jasper padded beside her softly as he sat and stared at her reflection. "Beautiful, isn't it?" he asked with a wide grin that spread across his face almost as fast as a wild-fire did the plains. He then saw her leap into the brooke, and he stepped slowly into the water. He dipped his snout in the water, and flung some aqua her way. He smirked as his tail wagged fastly.[/i]

Brooke put her head in the water. She then felt some cold water hit her fur. She lifted her head to see, that Jasper had joined her on the cold and nice water. She giggled and turned around flicking some water on him. She did not know where she was hitting him, but her tail sped up like a fast water boat and fled everywhere. She even felt some on herself.

Hearing some dogs barking and heading my way, I quickly get to my large feet and launch off the rock which I was on. Running towards the lovely sounds, I give some joyous barks of my own. Lowering closer to the ground, I gain my speed seeing a bunch of bushes ahead of me I grin devilishly and jump through them...But, oh no! Didn't see that one!.. Landing with a loud splash in the cold creek, I come up laughing and sputtering. Getting to my feet, I shake off the cold droplets the best I could while muttering. Lifting my head, I slightly flinch then a wide smile spreads across my face. "Oh, hello. I am terribly sorry about that." My handsome grin was still upon my face as I turn my head to look up the steep bank from which I had just plumeted off of. "I can honestly say I was not expecting that." Wagging my tail, I turn my head back around to look at them. First the male then the female. As my eyes land on hers, I found my self at loss of words...I noticed patches of her beautifully coloured fur was wet, while others were dry and seemingly dancing happily in the wind. But it was her eyes which got my attention most of all. Their gorgeous colour gave the illution of ever changing colours....
Instantly I knew I had to get to know her. There was no option of if's nor but's, it was a must. Dipping my head respectively to her, I perk my ears. "My name is Hayu. May I ask with whom I am in accompany with?"

Brooke instantly heard feet on hard earth floor. She pricked her ears, and turned her head towards a male dog. He jumped in and slashed water all over her face. She turned away giggling happily. She turned back towards him, meeting his gaze instantly. "Hello, I am Brooke. Pleased to meet you Hayu." she said with a smile. She watched him bow. "No need to bow." she said simply, leaning down, touching his nose to bring him up.

Surprised at her velvety touch, I draw in a quick breath. Smiling, I wag my tail and prick my ears at the sound of her name. "Such a peculiar name...So lovely." I whisper. "Your parents, very wise are they to have picked such a ear catching name. It seems to tumble upon ones tongue, slipping, sliding in its own beauty." My once happy smile, turned to that of a gentler softer kind.

Brooke smiled at such kind words. "That was beautiful, so straight forward..." she murmured and licked his nose softly, for being so kind. She never met any kind of male like these two, these two were way different than the others.

She smiled and got out the water, shaking her fur, from nose to tail.

Jasper nodded as a greeting towards the other male canine, and with a brief smile, he turned back to the elegant female. "Might I ask why you are here, miss? Sorry if this does sound rude, but you don't find any girls out here hardly. Not as beautiful as you, at least, madam." he spoke with his soft, gentle voice as his eyes fixed on hers. Her solf pelt, oh how it made Jasper's spine tingle. He stepped from the water and shook his fur, careful not to splatter any on the two. He enjoyed their company while he was there. His tail twitched with happiness, as his tail did not wag very much.

Brooke smiled and looked at him when he asked why she was here. It was a bad reason, yes it was but she did not hesitate. "I ran away from my former home as a doggypet because I was treated badly." she said and her tail moved all around.

I close my eyes when her soft warm tongue ran across my nose. Playing the moment over and over in my mind for several seconds before I stepped forward and followed her actions. "Brrr...." Grinning I step out of the water. "I swear that blasted creek gets colder with each passing night."

He raised a brow at the she-dog and sat down in front of her. "I've always dreamt of having a REAL family..." he said softly and cleared his throat. He had been a stray for his entire life, and was surprised she had run from that heaven. "Why? I always thought that humans taking care of you was nice... Free food, free toys... Free love." he stopped and waited for her response.

I chuckle and also sit not that far from them both. Grunting with humor I shake my head. "I'm afraid dear friend, someone has led you down the wrong path. Being one's pet does not always garauntee (sp) good treatment." Smiling, I wrap my long tail around my feet. Bright humor lighted in my eyes. Turning them to the Brooke, I give her a smile. "From which part of town had the honor for you beauty?"

Brooke sighed and turned to Jasper real quick before answering Hayu. "Trust me, those two-legs are not what they seem to be..." she said, her eyes moved to worried slits. She then turned to Hayu, her eyes brightened as she gave a warm smile. "Just back there." she answered quietly.

My eyes brightened warmly at the sight of her lovely smile. "Right back there? Really?!..." Laughing lightly I get up and trot her to her, nudging her not to roughly on the shoulder with a wide grin, I praise her. "A newbie to the forest! Gee, I can't tell you when was the last time I had seen any other dogs." Still grinning I sit down on my haunches.

Brooke sighed. "Well, I really don't fell like a newbie, I feel like such a welcomed one." she said and now, she bowed, this time attacking Hayu playfully to give his face a couple of thank you licks. For being so kind....

"Hey!" I laugh as she tackles me to the ground. Growling playfully I tug gently on her ears until I can finally steal a lick of my own. Rolling over on top of her I gently pull at the tuffs of hair on her neck.

Brooke smiled when he licked her and she laughed when he bit her hairs. She growled playfully back, and pulled him of, making him tumble with her hind-legs. She then ran off into the forest laughing and chuckling through the night skies.

I shake my pelt clean of any dirt as I get to my feet. Then I leap forward with a laughing growl and peel out after her. "I'll catch you!" I yelled happily as our bodies moved through the forest like ghost. With the moon and stars lighting the way, I gather speed and soon was at her heels. Grinning I nip at the tip of her tail and yip excitedly.
