I looked down and saw what had happened, a tear went down my cheek. I didn't want to be there so I ran off knowing now what had happened. I found a ridge and howled a mournful howl as I slowly felt that I had lost my only happiness my pups were lost

I found her later on and nuzzeled her.."want to talk about it?" I asked gently and lay down beside her and looked up

I turned my head away from him not letting him see my face. I jumped down and walked off feeling numb inside, I found a small place that I could only fit in considering I was a small wolf and just laid down not feeling anything if I got hurt. I broke down and cried

I heard her crying and whimpered slightly and stayed where i was until she had calmed down a bit and went over to comfort her or atleast try to

I stayed there for a long time not eating or drinking anything, I just wanted my pups back

I nudged her "you'll die at this rate and then you won't be able to have pups then..." i said and nudged her gently again whimpering.."come on, I promise we'll have another litter one day, this time we were just unlucky..." i said and touched my nose to hers

I moved my head away from him. You could see my ribs and shoulder and hip bones threw my black coat and my fur was a dull black instead of a shinny glossy black. "Yeah one day, that probably won't be any time soon." I said my voice hoarse from lack of water, I was used to having hunger pains and such. I was surprised I was still alive, god probably just wanted me to suffer for what I did. I sighed.

"Kelly come on, please eat something" I said and ripped some meat off thegaint stag i had caught and put some of it at her paws and nudged her gently before i nudged the meat towards her "before then we have to make sure we're both healthy especailly you" I said and tugged ehr ear gently

"I'm not hungry." I said getting up and slowly walking out of the cave and toward the water, I lapped some up. The cool wet liquid slid down my throat, it felt good. I walked back,"How do I know that you're just saying that because you don't want me to die." I say looking at him with my dull blue eyes that showed grief and sadness. My scar on my left side of my face showed more than ever without fur to hide it from sight. I sat down and stared at the meat, my mouth started to water at the smells of it.

"because i promised, i really mean it, if you want to have another litter then so do I, I truely promise but please just get healthy again or do you really not trust me that much" I said and licked her coat

I gave up and took the small bite, I looked at him then I ate the rest leaving some for him. I licked my chops and laid against the wall of the cave where I curled up and shut my eyes. I had images of how I had lost the last litter of pups and it became a nightmare that I didn't want to relive once again. I started to cry and whine, I thrashed around trying to get my pups back even though it was too late for that. I scrunched up my face

I looked ot her and quickly woke her up "hey, hey, it's alrigtht dear" I said adn nuzzeled her and then lay beside her keeping ym head resting on her shoulder

I didn't hear him. I locked my jaws on my own shoulder not wanting to hurt him. My eyes flew open and without thinking I flew out of the cave my legs working over time as I ran not even thinking just feeling the fear. I kept running until I collapsed, when I did my front legs gave out and I tumbled to the ground when I flipped over and over down a steep and rugged hill full of rocks and such. I stopped at the bottom of that hill and laid there, I gritted my teeth together at the pain. I pushed to my feet only to collapse, I started to heal in no time easily considering I wasn't just some kind of were-wolf I was ancient. I was still bleeding where it would take time to heal the wounds that were deep. I walked to the rivers edge that I was near and just laid there letting the water wash the blood out of my coat and from the wounds. When I healed I got up hard to but I did. I was slightly different from before considering that I had changed size and color. I forced my left eye to open even though it hurt bad, it was the color of hell itself, I'm ugly I thought to myself as I looked at myself in the water. Dyami won't want to be by an ugly wolf I thought again but it only caused me more pain to think that way.

I stood up and looked around "Kelly!" I shouted and began searching for her and sniffed the ground

I didn't want him to see me this way so I hid my presence and scent. I trotted back to the cave and rested some. I hid my left side of my face just in case he came back here. I closed my eyes. I took off the necklace and let my scent sore the wind, I rubbed myself against the walls and anything else that was by me. I sat down panting, when a female wolf loses pups she goes back into heat I say to myself as I sat there thinking of things.

I soon went back and found her there.."where were you, you had me woried sick" I said and nuzzeled her gently and lay beside her

I rubbed myself against his chest and lower jaw,"I'd come back." I said as I nudged his flanks

"but sometimes you runn off for ages" I said and nuzzeled her again and began grooming her coat and smiled happily

I nodded, I looked out at the night at the front of the cave, I didn't like the feeling of being so needy for a male to just mate with I thought to myself. I need Dyami I say in my mind. I trotted out and laid on my back scratching a scratch on my back, I just stayed in that position so I could see the stars

I smiled and watched her "well your better atleast" I said lifting my head up as she moved

"No I'm just in heat." i said as I regained my glossy blackish coat and you couldn't see my ribs or anything like that

"hmm, i can tell you know" I said and walked out and lay back down but a little ways off so she had her space and looked up at the sky...

I got up and walked to him nipping him in different places and rubbing my scent glands on his face and back marking him as mine as a mate. I nipped his ears and tugged gently.

I woke up as she tugged my ear snad batted her lightly and tugged her ear back playfully growling as i did
