I jogged up to him."No I love it hun."I licked his face.I lied down at his paws to rest.I looked out on the sparkling lake.

"Are you sure you like it?" I asked as I licked the top of her head

"K." i say as I laid down beside her

I rested my head on his back and sighed.I started to groom his black pelt,making it shiney..

"Ya know you don't have to make me all sparkly." i say looking back at her as I licked her muzzle

"What?Sparkly?"I asked confused.What did that mean.I lifted my head from his back and looked at him with my brow raised..

"I meant that you don't have to clean me." I say looking back at her

Jayde~
"Oh,Well I didn`t know what else to do.."I trailed off with a apologetic tone.A lot of things surprised me about Jake.He didn`t mate me twice like others would to ensure pregnancy,but oh well.I sat up and walked off to go look for a den.

I sniffed her rump making sure she was hopefully pregnant

Jayde~
I chuckled and paused.The only way to tell if a wolf was pregnant was in her urine,but oh well they`d find out in a few months time anyways.I broke into a jog and came upon a Badger`s den.I was old and abondaned so it needed a little it of work.I squeezed in and started to dig out dirt.It would be more roomy once all this dirt was outta here.

I sat down,"Need help?" I asked looking in only to get dirt in my face, I began to laugh

[Faye]

Jayde~
"Nah,this is the fae`s job."Was my replyI erupted from the den with a large smile."It`s done."I declared with dirt caked into my ash colored coat.I chuckled at myself.

i walked to the lake and wiped my face

[Faye]

Jayde~
I jogged towards the lake and walked right in until it was over my head.That was when I began to swim.The water gently washed the dirt from my coat.After a few minutes of swimming I came from the water and shook out my wet coat."Be right back hun."I said with a smirk.I jogged of into the shadows of the forest.I crouched down and urinated.Though it is digcusting I turned and smelled my own urine to determine whether I was pregnant or not.Then I returned to Jake,my coat fairly dried,

I stopped before Jake with a small frown.I lied down at the water`s edge and waited for him to come out...

I laughed as something was tickling me

"Jake?"I called.

"Yeah." i say walking to her

With a frown I said"I`m not pregnant."I licked my paws nervously,awaiting his reaction.

I laid down and let my head sag in my paws

"Jake,"I crooned softly to him."We can always try again..."I said hopefully with a shrug.

I looked over at her and got up and walked away and jumping into a tree turning away from her

Tears streamed down my face,dampening my fur.Because I was unable to produce for him the first time would he just abandon me now?Dump me?I turned and broke into a run,headed to the den.I walked in the darkness and lied down,was it all my fault?Should I have made him do it longer,and harder?
