Headaches won't stop

Ibuprofen~

I walked into the large meadow with a sullen expression on my face. No screw that. There was no expression. I slowly limped to the small stream and stared into it. I was a mess. My mane and tail were so tangled and crappy looking. My coat hadn't been washed in who-knows-how-long. I was a total screwup. I looked like a drunk coming home from that big party. And to top this all off, my udders were hard and swollen with the unused milk. My head swung back and forth and I closed my eyes. My life was over. Ruined. I didn't know what to do anymore. I just wanted to die.
Someone come help me headache.

I gently trotted through the gaps of trees and bushes, searching for someone to talk to. I finally walked into an open meadow and saw a horse. He/She looked like they had been through a lot. I walked up to him/her. "Are you okay?" I asked.

Ibuprofen~

I lazily strolled to the center of the meadow, seeming to tone out the world around me. I spooked as the horse talked to me, I had never seen it approach. My heart pounded in my chest and I pinned my ears. "Do I look okay??"

"Sorry, didn't mean to disturb you." I said while watching her pin her ears at me.

Ibuprofen~

I flinched and eyed the horse, my eyes wide. "What do you want?" I said, rather rude.

"I just wanted to see if you were alright. You seemed sad." I said and took a step back. Stangley, I was afraid of a mare. Usually, stallions aren't.

Ibuprofen~
I watched the way he moved and realized he was the one that was afraid. I was just being a bitch. But I only wanted to protect myself.
I gave a soft sigh and loosened up a little, though still nervous. "I'll live."

~Casper~
"Alright." I said ass I calmed down a little, now seeming that the tension was cooling off.

Ibuprofen~
I watched him carefully. "How come your here?" I wondered, not trying to be rude. Just curious.

~Casper~
"I was just wandering around, looking for berries, and I saw you." I said, still moving my eyes, searching for berries.

Ibuprofen~

I gave a small sigh. "Well, go on then. I'm sure you wouldn't wanna stay here with a depressed mare like me. No one does." she mumbled. She still kept his eyes on him, wary.

I gave her and confused look and shook my head. "I can't leave you. I have a heart you know." I said while taking one step closer to her.

My eyes widened and I threw my head up as I watched him take a step foward. "That's what the last one said." I snorted, my eyes watching him.

"Well, what if I'm not like the 'last one'?" I asked her.

Ibuprofen~

I snorted sharply. "Well, I do suppose you haven't done anything...yet." I lowered my head slightly, eyeing him over and over again.

"I wasn't going to do anything." I said, smartly.

Ibuprofen~
I snorted softly and blew at the grass. "I'm perfectly fine, you can be on your way." my ears twitched.

"Again, I'm not leaving you." I said and smiled.

Ibuprofen~
My ears swiveled around as I took in the the noises around me. I flicked my tail and stared at him. "Fine. But if you dare come even within a few feet of me, you'll regret it." I tried to look mean, but I knew that all he could see was fear. My head dove down and I started to graze, glancing up at him every few seconds.

I chuckled at her sharp words. I began to graze as well, eating the dandelions and grass.

I gave a soft sigh and raised my head. I chewed on the grass, my eyes trained on the stallion. "Do you have a name?"

"Yeah, it's Casper." I said. "What's yours?"

Ibuprofen~
I blinked my eyes softly, looking him over. "Casper..." I repeated and flicked my ears back. "Ibuprofen." I gave a small sigh. "I know it's long."

"It sounds long, but it's not." I said between the blades of grass being chewed up in my mouth.

Ibuprofen~
I flared my nostrils, breathing in and out calmly. "Yippee." I muttered, unenthusiastically.
