I jumped foward in alarm. I nudged Nala away and pinned my ears nastily at the other mare.

Rain Cloud:
I was a timid and shy mare. My brother was the exact opposite. But of course we weren't the same blood. We were both adopted. I shook my head erasing that and watched the ones in front of me..Not knowing whether to come out and say hello or to stay secretly hidden in the bush.

I felt the breeze pick up and flared my nostrils. I snorted and my eyes widened. There was someone else. Watching us, perhaps? I wasn't sure.
My head swung around towards the direction and my eyes narrowed. I didn't see anything, but the smell was plain as day. I shook my head and looked back to Nala.
I was most likely paranoid with all the horses and my mind was going crazy. Right?

Rain Cloud:

I saw the stallion look in my direction...My breath was held in, I released it in a happy sigh of relief. My black coat was an advantage. I slowly stepped out into the light. My coat was dirty,matted in places, and imperfect. I was a perfect example of a mustang. I was shaking slightly..My father kicked me..He told me I was old enough to go out into the world and find a herd to join. Why would he kick me? I was a mare, his "daughter" weren't stallions suppose to keep the mares? I guess I'm unloved. I looked at the stallion and lowered my head.

I spun around and raised my head, my yellow teeth bared. My ears immediatly came foward and I lowered my defensive stance as I saw how beaten the mare had looked. I took a step back, still keeping my head high. I was confused and annoyed, but she looked as though she needed help. "There was someone." I muttered mostly to myself. I blinked and then sighed. I didn't know what to do...or say. So I just flicked my tail and turned back around. Maybe the mare would get the idea, maybe not. Who knows.

Rain Cloud:

I backed scared and tripped falling over a rock. I got up and shook I snorted and looked down. I knew it..I was unloved..Even by people who didn't know me...I backed and backed, far enough. I could see them..but I minded my business and laid down..What next?

~Zephyr~
I kept my ears back and rolled my eyes. As I turned around, I made sure to keep my head down. I looked to the mare. "I'm sorry." I mumbled. "Please. Stay?"

Rain Cloud:

I heard a faint, stallion voice. I raised my head and stood, alert and looked at him. Shaking slightly. Maybe he could get how timid I was. No matter who I was friends with..No one could get me out of under my shy rock. I looked at him and nodded lightly in response to his question to ask me to stay.

I watched her and gave a shake of the head. I wanted to ask about her. Bomb her with the questions filling up in my mind. But I saw the way she held her body. She was scared.
I flicked my tail and watched her for a moment, before flicking my ears back towards Prancer, Sirrocco, Nala, and the other mare.

Rain Cloud:

I slowly moved and spoke gently. "Uhm..M..My...*Clears throat* My name is Rain Cloud.." I was able to get the words out. I was never extremely timid and shy..But he was different and I couldn't help but to be a little scared.. I breathed in and let out harshly.

~Zephyr~
I gave a snort nod. "My name is Zephyr." My voice sounded a lot deeper, and more suttle than normal. I gave a small cough and looked to her. I didn't want to scare her.

Rain Cloud:

I slowly nodded, shaking only a little now. I was a bit more relaxed, but being me there was no way to not be un-relaxed completely. "Ni..Nice to meet you" I smiled very little.

I gave another nod and took a few steps back.

Rain Cloud:

I shook my coat..I turned back and looked at my coat. I thought about the river below..
"Uhm..Excuse me for a moment" I said, not to afraid to speak anymore. I washed myself in the river,walking out. I had a beautiful black,gleaming coat. I didn't even look like the same mare.

{er, uh, well, I guess that since you're already getting into the post, though it is getting sorta annoying what with everyone jumping in, cause then someone always seems to get lost in the post then when they come back they get mad... ah, whatever }

~Prancer
I see the mare come in, hitting Nala, and throw my head up. I snort loudly, causing Sirrocco to wake up. Lowering my head down to his fuzzy form, I nudged him with my nose. He shook his head as if I were a fly he could shake off, but after I nudged him again, he stood up, shaking his head slowly. I bumped him again with my nose, the whites of my eyes showing as I scented another horse on the wind. Moving him to my side, I throw my head up, ears back as I swung my head around, trying to see the other horse, but she was hidden in the trees. Snorting, I lower my head to chest level, only to swing it back up as she finally exited the trees. Flaring my nostrils, I keep Sirrocco close to my form, behind me, though he peeked around me to look at the mare. Pawing slightly at the ground, having to lower my head to do so, I turn my head to watch Zephyr, the whites of my eyes showing nervously. I was starting to get paranoid with the other horses being here, and it didn't help much that they were all mares, though I'd still be really uneasy if they were stallions. Straining my neck towards Zephyr as he talked to the mare, trying to hear what they were saying, but I couldn't make out the words. Snorting I toss my head slightly before standing stock still, head up, ears pricked forward. Sirrocco started nudging at the grass, taking interest for a moment before immediately forgetting about it, prancing in a tight circle before cantering around me, kicking his heels up as he played. Sighing I lower my head back down to the ground as the mare walked over to the stream, grazing without really tasting the grass. I take a few steps in Zephyr's direction, pausing. l had no idea what to think any more, my brain just seemed like a jumble of tangled thoughts that didn't seem to make sense. Shaking my head slightly I whicker softly to Sirrocco, starting to make my way over to Zephyr once again. You mineaswell fight for what you want, eh?

I heard Prancer freaking out, but it wasn't new to me. I watched the mare for a moment before lowering my head. I blew softly on the grass, trying to clear my jumbled thoughts. I heard someone behind me and looked up. Before turning around I knew it was Prancer. Who would it have been? I turned around and watched her come closer.

~Prancer
Stopping a foot or two off to the side from Zephyr, l watch Sirrocco for a moment as he took off in a bucking fit, cantering in large arcs. Tossing my head for a moment l switch my gaze back to Zephyr. Why did l have to be so timid all the time? l was sick of doubting myself. "What's going on?" l ask quietly, nodding to the two other mares who had come in.

"There is a new mare her." I said trying to inform here of what was going on.

~Zephyr~

I had a broken down look on my face. I was actually a little suprised that Prancer had confronted me, but I just shook it off. "I have no damned idea."

I looked at Zephyr and nodded in agreement.
