Artema trudged through the trees, half awake after a long night with no sleep. She wasn't really watching where she was going, just deep in thought, tail swishing carelessly, head hung low. All of a sudden, she felt her tail hit something big on a tree she had just passed. With a thud, the thing fell by her left hind leg. Almost instantly the once-quiet forest burst into a frenzy of loud buzzing. Artema's ears, head and tail shot up as dozens of stings pierced her hindquarters. It was enough to snap her out of her reflections and bolt. She almost tripped a few times over roots, her desparation making her sloppy. I hate flying stinging bugs I HATE flying stinging bugs! That was all she could think as she stumbled through the unfamiliar brush. Suddenly she burst into a clearing, the sun warming her dark bay coat, and with the space all around she bucked and kicked out at where the stings had gotten her worst. When she was finally out of breath, her front hooves hit the ground and she realized that the stinging had long since stopped. The scent of horses hit her nose... And, looking up, she realized that this was a meeting place of some sort, with a number of horses who had probably been peacefully grazing and socializing before she exploded from the trees. Now, of course, they just stared at her. Great...

Cassie: I look at her akwardly "Uhmm."
Rachel: I stand near my mother I was now full grown I snort akwardly

Artema laughed nervously. What a great first impression... She was bit awkward when it came to introductions in the first place, this was just icing on the cake. She tossed her red-gold mane as if brushing off her oh-so glorious entrance. "Hey, guys. I was just... Uh... Passing through, I guess. Hope I didn't intrupt something..."

Widow~ "Oh you didn't interupt anything." I roll my eyes and go back to tonting the stallion I was with

"Um... Alright." Not knowing exactly what she should do as most of the horses went back to what they had been doing, Artema just stood there, the awkwardness growing ever second. She shifted in place, desperately trying to think of something to say to the mares who had spoken to her. "Where exactly... Am I?" She finally asked.

MoonDance~ I smiled at her "Your in the Garden of Plenty."

darkend savior: i smile politely restircting myself from luaghing instead the i look at the sun scrawling in sky inching towards the middle

"Oh." Artema sighed, not knowing anything more to say. She pretended to know what this "Garden of Plenty" was. "Well... I'm kind of new here. My name's Artema, and I've been wandering around for quite a while."

darkend savior: i blow my head slightly " i am darkend savior" i say in my most handosme voice and a dazzling smile

Artema's face got hot and she lowered her head. She was definitely not used to making small talk, let alone with stallions. "I... Um... I've been traveling for quite a long time. And I'm pretty lost... I keep picking up the scent of wolves, but when I look, nothing's there. Is there a safe place you know of that I could stay for the night?"

darkend savior: "you'll be plenty safe here" i say looking around at all the other stallions and brave mares

[Aphrodite, do you want to play on of the mares or stallions at all? I opened them being able to play again, If you want]

Widow~ I come back I was walking in the water, I had just killed that stallion and now that his blood was clean off me I step out and shake
Cassi~ I nod "Well, I'm Cassie. and this is my daughter, Rachell." I motion towards the gray pinto mare next to me

Artema relaxed a bit. There were alot of horses here, it seemed safe. Then, she realized something... Most of them were in pairs... Oh dear... I'm in the middle of all these horses finding a mate! Artema didn't know if she should feel even MORE awkward or relieved... Maybe she could use someone to protect her.

Artema greeted the mares. The one was making her nervous... She had seen her wade into the water with a red color to her pelt and she had the creeping feeling that it had been blood.

Storm~ I walk past Cassie to see the new mare "Why hello there." I say smoothly my tall stature towers over her and I look down at her with my kind, gentle blue eyes

darkend savior: " so what were you doing in the woods by yourself?"

Artema laughed. She was finally relaxed. "In case you weren't here for that grand entrance I made earlier, I kinda didn't come here on purpose... But I've been just wandering around for... Pretty much as long as I can remember." Storm was standing pretty close, and he smelled good. She glanced into his eyes and smiled shyly.

[Guest]

Storm~ I chuckle smiling warmly "Please exuse Widow, she's well I'll just say different. And I'm sure you met Cassie over there."
Cassie~ I smiled
Storm~ "Well do you have a herd at all?"

[Guest]

"I think... I think I used to..." Artema racked her brain but it was so long ago that she had wandered off... It had to have been before she turned one... "But anyways, it was a long time ago and far far away. I've been alone for the rest of that time. And never once have I come across a place..." She nodded towards all of the horses, "...With so many mares or stallions." She was only about two and a half, young and shy, but her coat, in this sun, was glowing brilliant dark bay, fading to a black around her muzzle and hooves, her mane and tail a deep, metallic gold. She looked back up and smiled. "And now I guess that since I've found this place, I can join a herd if I'm welcomed and I want to, I guess."

Storm~ "You may, but when you grow older you will have the choice to either stay or leave. But no matter what we, no I will protect you. and one thing that is one of the most important, you must ask to breed with the stallions here."

[Guest]

"I must ask?... Wait... Are you... Saying I can join your herd?" Artema was new at all of this, being alone for so long. She didn't want to embarass herself but just had to ask.

[Guest]

Storm~ I nod "You are too young to have to impress me in anyway." I smiled

Artema was shocked. This had happened so fast, but she was happy. She smiled hugely at Storm, and looked at his mares... They would be her family now and protect her. She finally had a place to stay, for being one so young and alone had been hard.
