i into the forest and shake my shining black fur. i swivel my ears while my eyes flicker from one place to the next. i had been separated from my siblings during the storm and i had no idea where they were. 'relax' i told myself ' they will be fine, raze isnt a fragile little pup anymore and kronos and cain know how to handle themselves...... but Nyra..... she could cause some trouble...' images of torn bodies laying lifelessly on the ground flashed before my eyes and i winced 'no' i scolded myself ' that wont happen. it wont.' i sniff the air and grunt, it smelled like wildflowers. i sneezed and scratched my nose, the heady scent of spring had messed with my senses. i sat stiffly upon the forest floor and waited for what? i didnt know. i turned my eyes to a bird flitting through the clouds. a soft breeze blew and ruffled my tangle of glossy black fur. my eyes shine and reflect off of the ground as i watch the bird. i take no notice in anything else as i focus all of my attention on the little things that were within my sight. i spotted a small brown hare, it froze in fear as i laid my icy eyes upon it. i never moved from my statuesque position as i watched the critters intently. i then look up into the blue sky. the sun shone brightly, a white hot gem. i grimace, how is it that thw world can go on without a second thought when there is so much suffering? it is quite odd

I approach the wolf cautiously and slowly. He bore no look of agressivness, just anger and despair. I stand a little away from him in the stand of trees, the everpresent wind blowing through my brown and grey coat.

Quickly I dart over and pick the pup up (can you pretend she doesn't have wings?) taking her out of harms way. I look at the other male. "You must be Render, I've heard about you, both our families were killed on the same night." I say sadly. "I remember seeing you, but you may not recognize me, it was a long while ago."

I remain standing over her, but look back at him, my face just as blank. "I almost did, but I escaped with only a scar on my side and eye. " I remember the horrible feeling I had when i saw all of them, hanging from the trees.

i nod at jonai and say "i am sorry you had to go through that alone." i bowed my head in silence for a moment but then looked at the femme who was obviously plotting to seduce someone and rolled my eyes
