i watch in the direction of the howls,that are coming closer
i run along the branch and leap,turning into a eagel in mid-air
i soar high into the air looking for the wolves
"down there,"i call swooping down to the trees

my eyes widen and i stare at the trees shocked

"Well, then why haven't we seen you these last..." I turn to FernCloud "Two years, is it? Then again that was when i joined." Then I hear the cub squeal, run into the darkness and bring back it's tiny body.

"For two years?" I say, then look sadly at the dead cub. "Shame, no creature this young should have to die." I say, "Saphira, I think cremation is better than just plain burial." I tell her and lay the cub where she can flame it.
