Suddenly I raced up, my light frame coming in handy for the speed that was needed to improve the force. The others were making progress, but I liked death to be quicker.. quick and easy. I slammed my full force into the already weakened elk's side and latching visciously on with my fangs. My impact into it caused it to weeble on unsteady hooves before it fell down to it's side crying out loudly, kicking out and struggling to rise again. I dug angrily into the stomach, tearing parts from it causing the bleeding to change into a steady, heavy flow weakening the beast moreso.

As the elk went down,Diablos ended it's life with a vice grip along the neck,snapping it with ease. He let go of it,only to initial his victory howl. His head rose,his jaw expanded,a sudden war cry was released bellowing in the wind. Cher joined quickly,Apollo and Gretel following her lead.

[Faye]

After several moments I joined in with my high-pitched melodious voice. I felt bad that Hantzel wasn't here, but it was better for her well being for her to rest. I ended my howl before the others though, waiting for them to end it also so I could speak.

A few moments after Jezi ended,Diablos lowered his head to end the howl,looking at his pack and especially eyeing Jezi with his cold eyes. Cher looked at Jezi,smiling softly before looking at Apollo who seemed a bit ashamed.

Hanztel stood outside the den,licking her limp leg as she whimpered,wishing to join her pack.

[Faye]

I stood a bit shocked, seeing Diablos's dirty look.. but no one else seemed to notice. "Uhm, Hantzel wanted me to bring back some meat for her. She went back to camp because of her leg." I stood seeing if I would be allowed to tear off a leg or something for her.

Cher nodded to Jezi. "Of course!" She smiled. Diablos looked at Cher,sighing for once. Apollo walked over to the leg,easily tearing it off and dragging it to Jezi. "For Hanztel."

[Faye]

I gave a small smile before nuzzling Apollo and snatching the leg from his mouth. I grabbed it on the pastern so I could get a good grip and drag it easily. Soon I started on my way back towards th den at a brisk walk.

Apollo nuzzled her back,turning around to eat the rest of the elk with his pack. Meanwhile,Hanztel still stood at the den,stretching out as her leg fell limp.

[Faye]

After I traveled far, dragging the large leg behind me I came upon the den. I was slightly out of breath from the heavy leg. I brought it to the entrance and whined softly, alerting Hantzel. I walked into the cave passing her and laid down, resting for awhile.

Hanztel looked at the meaty leg,her mouth expanding as she dug into it. "Thank you!" She barked.

[Faye]

I nodded smiling softly, before I put my head on my paws and drifted off to sleep.

As Jezi slept,Apollo and the others silently came back from they're kill with full stomachs and hyper attitudes. Gretel came rushing in as she glomped Hanztel with all her might. "Sister!!" she shouted.

[Faye]

My eyes fluttered open, hearing Gretel's shout. I slowly rose to my pads but felt different.. I felt a very werid sensation within me. I shivered lightly as I realized a strong smell coming from my back end. I whined.. very softly for I realized with dread what this was. I pinned my tail firmly to my rump and jogged out of the cave to see the others. Forgetting everything from seeing Apollo's lovely face I smiled and wagged my tail, blushing as I spread and heavy scent around. I looked down at the ground sullenly.

Everyone else joined with Gretel,all besides Apollo. He caught this scent,his eyes sharpening at Jezi. He quickly padded up to her,sniffing her face. "Be cautious. That smell will drive anyone crazy.. My father,Diablos,is one to take you in only for breeding."

[Faye]

I tensed as he said that about his own "father". My eyes suddenly widened drastically. "Uh.. O- Oh Okay." I stuttered nervously, my body shaking slightly. That cold evil expression that Diablos wore.. that terrified me enough. I nuzzled his muzzle, rubbing my face against his. He made me feel safe.

Apollo smiled,rubbing his soft,white head against Jezi's. He turned around,only to look around as he smelled something unusual to him. He shrugged it off,licking Jezi's ear as she wagged his tail.

[Faye]

I wagged my tail in response as an impulse.. at I always did. I cursed silently under my breath. "God Dammit." I muttered. I smiled lightly at him... "Is there any of the elk left back there? I never got any.. and I'm starving."I said laughingly.

Apollo nodded. "It'd be best to get away." he smiled,padding off towards the kill. He hoped a scavenger wasn't feasting on the left overs.

[Faye]

"Let's race." I laughed with a devilish smirk. Before he could react I took off ahead of him, memorizing where we had left the kill. I left an obvious trail behind me as I ran. My long legs stretched out before me, running to my full extent.

Apollo quickly rushed after her,staying behind her. His eyes were wide as he took in her smell. He had great self control,but could lose his patience. As they raced,he came up to her side,his tail wagging as his long legs stretched.

[Faye]

I nipped his shoulder playfully before darting ahead without warning and slidding to a stop at the carcass. "Ha.."I teased softly grinning at him. I laid down and began to lick the bones patiently, tearing off bits of meat here and there.

Apollo grumbled,hating to lose. He slid to a halt,driving up snow as he was perfectly blended in. He walked over to the other side of the carcass,his nose held low as he took in the scent of the elk more then the heat,making his muscles relax.

[Faye]

Finally I had my full and I smiled up at him. "Back to camp?" I suggested in my light,soft voice.

Apollo shook his head,looking around the small clearing. "Why don't we stay a little longer? It's beautiful out,and my father is annoying me."

[Faye]

"Oh sure" Then I thought about it for a moment.. "How is he annoying you?" I asked him softly as I stepped closer to him, feeling the urge to near him moreso and possibly cuddle. I rested my slightly small head under his, rubbing mine against his.
